We have heard some great things about this place so we dropped in earlier this month. You'll see by the picture, the pizza toppings were not very well spread out. The pizza toppings tasted great when you got to them. The crust / base was phenomenal, and even the Nutella pizza for dessert was great. The cheese was great, but the toppings all thrown in the middle..... this is what I remember the most. Would I go back... maybe.

Staff and owner were friendly. Pizza tastes good, has some fragrance from the woodfire and stone bake. Colour on the crust is also good. Ordered margherita and natura. However, for my liking, the crust is a bit on the tough side. It might be because I ordered them for takeaway (but it was probably only 15 minutes after cooked). The mozzarella cheese that are used on both pizzas are salty; it tasted somewhat like cheddar, which I don't like. Overall, good enough! :D

Authentic as it gets, friendly service with a smile that makes you feel like a regular even if you haven’t been in a while. Pizzas are good value for the high quality ingredients and it’s always busy for dine ins so that shows you the locals love the place. I always get takeaway but will have to get some friends or family and dine in one day 😊

Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious pizza and pasta that comes with a side of fantastic service. We almost didn't come here because for some reason we couldn't get through on the phone (was saying it was disconnected...?) But I am glad we decided to drop in anyway. Solo Pizza and Pasta comes with the casual family feel and a menu that is bound to cover everyone's favourites, but the service is above your regular-casual-pizza-place standard. Friendly and professional without being over-bearing. I didn't get our waiter's name - sorry - but he was lovely. Our meals were delicious (a great gluten free base too!). Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Sandy Bay area.

Good service and good quality pizza. They've got a broad range of pizzas as well. Pricing wise it's not too expensive, basically what you'd expect from a pizza restaurant. The place is quite cozy and the lighting is dimly lit.

Bravissimo! To be honest, I am very picky when it comes to authentic Italian pizza. This place however serves one of the most amazing pizzas I have ever had in my entire life. I’d rate it 10 stars if I could. They even import original ingredients from Italy. Moreover, the owners are so lovely! You absolutely HAVE to pay them a visit.

The food here has been amazing, staff aren’t too bad apart from some of them being quite forgetful and hard to get their attention. If it’s busy you may have to sit outside as this is on a road it can get a bit windy as cars drive past so I would suggest preparing for that however every pizza was absolutely exquisite and I would visit again.

Always a go-to pizza place of mine and probably one of perths best pizzas that is rarely talked about like the other big players like canteen, rossonero, manuka or papagallo. Not Napolian like the purist would call it and not wood fired but still very tasty. Crisp and chewy dough, excellent toppings and a great base sauce.

If you like real Italian wood-fired pizza (and who doesn't?!) then Solo is as good as anywhere in Perth. The menu is almost entirely pizzas and salads (plus desserts), so be warned in case someone in your group isn't into pizza and expecting to have pasta instead. But it's a good selection with most of them being based on traditional, fresh ingredients. They do coffees & soft drinks. BYO alcohol. Lots of parking around the area (if there's not a spot on Coode Street then there's a good sized car park around the back, off South Terrace, that is never full). Service is good too. They ham it up a bit with the Italian greetings but it's all in good fun. Great friendly, delicious, local gem of a place.

Solo Pizza is an absolute gem. Another of the 'go to' places we've been frequenting for years. Watched it grow from humble beginnings and love that it's retained it's warmth and charm even after expanding the premises to next door. The use of fresh ingredients is obvious as is the love and care Solo put into their food. It all amounts to consistent quality which makes for deliciously authentic Italian thin crust pizza. So blessed to live nearby to walk there. That way i can justify the pizza i have all to myself! I do enjoy their garden salad (and a sneaky dessert) on 'lean' nights when a few slices of pizza will do. It's really good! Whether you share or don't share, it's pizza worth treating yourself to every now and then ;-)

Great pizzas and lots of choices including gluten free basses for a small extra charge so brilliant! I only gave it 4 stars as it only has full cream milk for the coffee. No hi-lo or skim. Just having even Hi-lo does most coffee drinkers in a pinch. :(

We've been recommended Solo Pizza by a few of the other locals but this was the first occasion we have had to dine there. We four pizzas between two couples (not quite senior) and ended up taking home almost the equivalent of one pizza. REALLY good thin crust pizza. Between 4 & 5 star with my pick the Calabrese. Also great service with water bottles replaced & the table wiped before dessert. We tried the gelato. Maybe go to Jersey Jack's opposite the zoo instead. That way, your experience of Solo Pizza should be 4.5-5 star. It's where the locals in the know go for pizza.

I feel like me & my partner, Michael, Were one of the early settlers @ Solo. We told all our family & of course had them there to experience the BEST Pizza in Perth. As all good things do...the word got out. Lucky for Solo pizza, but very busy too. The standard remains the same when they are super under the pump (which is often). Steffi & Giovani were so good to us & I highly recommend this fabulous small pizzeria. No booking available so be prepared to wait if you want to dine in. We haven't been for months but used to have a regular Thursday night Pizza night. We have started making our own!!! Thankyou Solo Pizza, You made all who came near you so so happy. See you again.

The pizza and tomato bread are fantastic. However, I have to point out that prices are rather steep for the portions offered. The vegetarian pizza is a whooping $21 (this was cheaper years back). The homemade tiramisu is $12.00 for a small portion. Chilli, which used to be free, is now $2.00 a portion and sometimes the waitresses don't tell you that you're going to be charged for it. You just get charged for it at the end. We understand businesses need to keep afloat but we also get the feeling of being ripped off.

It is busy ( we arrived at 6:40pm as they don't reserve tables and they recommended we come a little earlier for a table of 8). The maitre d is gorgeous and the wait staff efficient and spot on for service. We sat outside, which was perfect for a warm Perth summer night. Food came quickly and was delicious.
