The closest we have in the hood to a NY slice joint and those face sized slices always tempt me. I took a lot of photos of the exterior because I had to wait an extraordinary 30 mins on top of my pick up time. I'll chalk it up to hard lockdown demand but I'm suss. I was apprehensive for their vegan pizzas after my Newtown experience made me less than impressed but I got a large happy daize and boy it was huge and lurrrvvverley. It looks messy but it was cheesey, full of mushrooms and a lot of olives. The dough was thin but nice and savoury the crust was a pleasure to monch. Will go back to try the other vegan pie. Bellissimo.

I love this pizza - had a slice of their Sweetgreen (ricotta, spinach, mozzarella) and OK USA (classic pepperoni pizza) and it was amazing. Base was well cooked, toppings were well balanced, and service was quick. Definitely will need to grab another slice here soon!

I love these New York Style slices. They're as big as my head and are the perfect mix of topping and dough. I really like how bready the crust is. You can go in and pick up a huge slice or order normal sized pizzas to full on epic sized.

This has been my favorite pizza joint since they opened. The dough was fantastic and the cheese was really high quality. I would have given 5 stars but I feel the quality of both the dough and the cheese has gone down. The service is always top notch but I feel like the taste has been compromised. I would give 5 stars but the changes in recipe are holding it back.

Great local pizza place on Crown St. Tasty crust and ingredient combos. Garlic knots are made in store and oh so garlicky! Best of all, they are very happy to make takeaway pizzas in a nut free area. My daughter is extremely allergic to tree nuts so it’s fantastic to have a restaurant that our whole family can eat at! Keep up the great work!

New owners seem to have addressed my concerns so I've revised my rating. -- my previous review is below Sad to watch the decline of what was once a great pizza place. I used to order from this place 3 or 4 times a week because I loved their food. Then things went down hill. I always order the same pizza and salad but no two are ever the same these days, it's just pot luck. I order online for pickup or call for pickup, they give me a time, I arrive on time and I sit and wait for 15 or 20 minutes. Apparently my time is not valuable. I was so sick of these problems I stopped ordering for a few months, then tonight I decided to give it another try. I arrived on time and waited 20 minutes for my pizza to be ready. I was handed 2 pizzas, I only had ordered 1. When I got home the topping was undercooked and the base was like a pizzahut deep pan. It would have been quicker to order from pizzahut and at least I would have got what I had expected. It is quite sad because this used to be one of the best pizzeria in Darlinghurst/Surry Hills area. But I'm done now.

Have ordered home delivery a few times , it’s ok if you get your order in by 6ish, but after that it arrives at least an hour from ordering and lukewarm. Last time we ordered the Prawn Star, there was one tiny prawn per large wedge. Tonight we ordered FunGuy which was meant to have parsley mushroom ricotta and mozzarella. It was mushroom heavy to the point of sogginess and no parsley- bland really, and lukewarm.

Amazing dough! Especially on the large slices. Topping combinations are superb and original. The warm bread twists are a great addition. Don't sleep on 'em, eh. Wonderful place. Will always come back. Highly recommended!

I've walked past Epic on Crown St for years. Went in for the first time today and can honestly it's one of the best pizzas I've had. Vegetarian, full of fresh healthy veggies... staff were so friendly too. Thanks Epic... it made my day!

The pizzas were beautiful! We ordered 2 x 22" inches and there were enough toppings with each delicious bite. We've used so many different pizza delivery services and this was the first time the pizza arrived EARLY (it's normally a good 15-30 minutes late). It was a brilliant experience; everyone loved the huge pizzas (truly epic). Will definitely be back for more; highly recommend!

As the name suggests. Epic pizza. Good selection of flavours. Thin crispy base. Don't be fooled by them just sitting in the display. If it hasn't just come out of the oven they will run it through the grill so it's reheated to perfection. I recommend take away as there are only 6 window seats available.

I was about to write a bad review after a poor service experience. Noticing that there is a response from the owner almost to every bad or good review, I decided to write a kinder review. An almost immediate response suggests that there is an concerted effort to improve. But then it may be just an effort to plaster over bad experiences. The real question is whether Epic Pizza really improves. I'll give it another chance by trying them again...sometime.

Great Pizza! Because I'm a pepperoni lover I ordered the OK USA. This pizzeria does it right from the perfect crust to the awesome pepperoni they use. I've eaten here several times on this trip and hadn't once been disappointed.

We had a pizza and garlic bread here a couple of weeks ago when we visited Sydney. It wasnt bad, but it certainly wasnt epic. Pizza tasted fine, and perfectly edible, and when you look at the cost, it was worthwhile. Garlic bread was dry and not very nice at all. Overall, it was okay.

Just came back from a trip in New York where all I ate was pizza. This place was pretty damn good. Not exactly the same as a New York Pizza but I am not going to complain when I am at the other side of the planet. If the 22inch was less than 50 bucks lets say 45 dollars I would consider buying it and eating it over the course of 3 days. I think it would help your business to lower the cost of the 22inch ever so slightly granted the size of the pizza is proportional to the square of the radius

Arrived at accommodation late on our trip to Sydney. Just had a Fat Tony pizza (tomato, basil and mozzarella), $15 for large. It was really, tasty crust and flavours went really well together They sell by the slice too. Would recommend checking it out

This place have the best pizza's in town, you can get take away or eat there,they have indoor and outdoor seating area and even provide blankets for you in the winter if you are cold. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. There are plenty of parking around. Can get a bit busy on weekends but what do you expect for awesome pizza's.

Best pizza in the Inner West! I visited the Drummoyne store ordered the Fat Tony (cheese, tomato & basil) and was really impressed. The base was cooked really well, the crust was crunchy and the toppings were just right. Hands down best gluten free pizza too. The hand stretched dough, made in store daily, makes all the difference. Great take on a NY slice. Seriously, give this place a go. You'll kick yourself if you miss out.

Gave it a try today. Just grabbed single slices. They were $6.50 each at the time. I tried the Sweet Green, Ok USA and Queen Margherita. I enjoyed them all but I think the Sweet Green was my favorite. The spinach and ricotta just complimented the pizza really well. The hint of garlic was also really nice. It also made the crust taste a bit like garlic bread while the other 2 slices were just bread which was a bit boring. There pretty decent sized so if you don't eat much 1 slice will probably do. But most people are gonna need at least 2 and bigger eaters will need 3-4. Service was good and quick. Polite young lady was always smiling although I asked a simple question and it was a bit noisy so I couldn't make out what she was saying but she didn't stop talking for a while so I just kept nodding wondering how she could extend her answer that long. I would definitely return if I needed a quick bite. Drink some water though as they make you really thirsty.

We just had dinner at Epic Pizza in Drummoyne. Pizzas were the best I've ever had! and the portions were huge, more than we could eat... so left overs for lunch to boot! They had a good range of beveridges on offer which were also cheap & cheerful. The staff were ace. Very happy with the service, we will definitely be going back again! Might even plan a special trip just to go back!

My boyfriend and I love Epic Pizza and usually order it most Friday nights to be delivered. Tonight we did that and payed for delivery and the delivery driver would not get out of his car to bring it up because he didn’t want to pay for parking. Why pay for delivery? We are really disappointed. My boyfriend had to go down and get it from the driver in his car. Pathetic!

How on earth do you make up these prices for toppings? $3.50 for about 10 pieces of pineapple. Some basil costs the same as mushrooms at $3.50? Some pineapple pieces costs a few cents - not $3.50. It makes zero sense for these things to all cost the same price eg pineapple, basil, capsicum cost no where near the same as each other.
