Wow it’s been a while since we have eaten here, it was AMAZING!!! Best pizza we have eaten in Sydney. Seems like the food has had a big upgrade. Used to be a bit light on with the pizza toppings but now feels super generous and really flavorsome. The dough was soft and perfect. Can you tell we loved the meal. Can’t wait for our next pizza. Great job guys

Never really dine in here before but I do love a wood fire pizza and handmade pasta. Walk pass this place on the weekend and saw them selling various italian takeaway (covid restriction lockdown time) stuffs like handmade pasta, bolognese sauce, Pane Di Casa, Focaccia, Homemade Lasagne, Eggplant Parmigiana & Tiramisu. As I just had lunch I decide to buy their freshly made Tomato & herbs Foccaccia to try back home. Took a small bite to try and I really like the dough texture and bite. So i go back and add mozzarella cheese and truffle salt and shave truffle it and I really enjoy it. From the taste of the foccaccia u can tell that their wood fire pizza and hand made pasta will be good! Will come back for a visit when the restriction ease and dine in is possible to try their italian food.

Excellent service. Great atmosphere. Generous and tasty pizzas. We went on a Friday night with a group of 8 friends. The food was served at the same time for everyone and the pizzas had a nice creamy mozzarella and thin dough. Do not miss their chilli oil!

This used to be our go-to pizza place when we lived opposite from 2016-2020, as the pizza was alway amazing. Unfortunately, the restaurant seems to have changed ownership/chef and when we went back recently the food was well below what we were used to and we won’t be rushing back. The pizzas looked good, but the dough/toppings weren’t as tasty and the desserts (panda cotta/tiramisu) left a lot to be desired. It’s a shame.

A little Napoletano of Italy in a somewhat weird location - but don't let that stop you! Their service is excellent, the food is as authentic to Italy as you can get and the venue itself is quite charming. They are always busy and it is easy to tell why. Not the most cost conscious option out there, but definitely the best quality and best value for money. Keep up the great work team.

I have been going to Pizza Boccone for the past two years on a weekly basis. I have never ever had a pizza that good. The staff including the manager and the Chef are super friendly. We went for a late night pizza. Fantastic as usual. Such a shame what Corona and the police have done to the cross. The whole cross was fairly empty And we were accosted by a police troupe and drug sniffing dogs on the short walk to the station. I remember when the cross was the late night venue and all the pubs cafes and restaurants were heaving till well past 3am.

Great pizzas here!! Probably the best in Potts Point/Kings Cross/Woolloomooloo! The pizza dough is amazing and just really great tasting pizzas. Not sure if they still do takeaway deals, they were going at a great price if you takeaway the pizzas! This location is quite like a alfresco type of restaurant, so just keep that in mind because if the weather is bad, it is quite hard to enjoy a meal here.

This restaurant is fabulous indoor & outdoor, my friend & i sat outside as you do. It was raining but we had cover. In the laneway of Potts Point great location. Staff fabulous! I had hand made ravioli, pumping with sage, butter & lemon, just like Tuscany. One of the best I've had, served with mixed lettuce, rocket, shaved parmigiana, great dressing. And a glass of beautiful Pino Grigio . Excellent. Yes I am going back asap. Thank you pizza bovine. It's great when you find a good italiano restaurant. Fav food.

We come from the inner west to this Kings Cross gem because quite frankly it is my favourite Italian restaurant in Sydney. They are always accommodating. The Italian wines are well priced. The best Italian restaurant in Sydney. Delicious handmade ravioli, generous and tasty portions of pasta. Pizza is like the one you eat in Naples, if not better. The chef is an Artist. Perfect Neapolitan style pizza. If you read bad reviews about the soggy dough in the middle of the pizza, or the raw tomato sauce … disregard them! This is how Neapolitan pizza should be and it’s delicious also because of its doughy texture and fresh taste. The Tiramisu’ was also great. It was very cheesy (more Mascarpone cheese, less Savoiardi/Ladyfingers), which is as I like it. It also had some crumbled amaretti on top, which is not the original recipe, but a normal variant of it in Italy. I didn’t like The Cannolo that much. I thought the tube was too thick and not crispy as it should be and it tasted too much of cinnamon. But I must say it is extremely difficult to find perfect Cannoli here in Australia and maybe a pizzeria is not the place I would expect to find them (better to go to traditional Italian pastry /gelato shops for these).

Undisputed the best woodfire pizza in Sydney! Great thin-crust and high-quality ingredients and heart for cooking this is a recipe of success of this place. Exceptional tiramisu served in the classic dessert cup. Never disappointed and always worth of trip. I would love to give 6stars for commitment of the owners.

I couldn’t stop myself from grabbing more pizza cuz it was that good and was very generous on toppings. For someone who doesn’t eat the last bit of the pizza bread, the dough was tasty, not the average plain dry and tasteless type. I swallowed the whole thing. Also tried their homemade gnocchi. Was very cheesy and had good balance of tomato sauce. I will be back for more pasta and pizza!!!

Did not need a reservation around 18:00 on a Saturday like others recommended. Food was awesome. We had a sausage and onion pizza "barbarosa" as well as the pumpkin ravioli. My wife and I really enjoy pumpkin/squash ravioli type pastas. This is the best we have ever had. A great little find down an alley in kings cross!

Staff were welcoming and friendly and even the house red was quality. Was extremely impressed, then i tried the tiramisu. Outstanding. Would totally rate five stars, just a little let down that the three wait staff didn't have their full attention on their customers when they had little else to do. As a 20 year hospitality vet, there simply is no excuse. Prioritize the people who are paying your wages; the main reason I love hiring Yankees.

The best ever hidden alleyway gem, I am not exaggerating when I say I ate one of the best pizzas of my life here! The pizzas here are incredible, but I’m a little disappointed at being told the kitchen is closed for pickup an hour before their listed closing time. The website should probably state what time the kitchen closes rather than the venue.

Summary: food is excellent, decent price, awesome staff: we will come back. Downside: presence of the owner - asks guests to leave to make space for others, etc. So get ready to be pushed out. A few details: we walked in there due to reviews here. All of it fits and we had a remarkable experience, until the owner showed up and did things like mentioned above. As soon as he left, everything went back to normal, mood and atmosphere increased and we spent more time (also spent more money). We will come back and just hope, the owner has other things to do. The food, staff and prices are worth it.
