The BEST wood fired pizza I've eaten in Sydney. Must eat straight away. Don't delay and leave in box too long. The dough was perfect, chewy, soft, stretchy with the crust perfectly charred. The toppings nicely complemented. Tomato base so flavoursome. Takeaway service was Super fast. I ordered in shop and the pizza chef told me he make it now and ready in 2 minutes. He was right, 2 minutes and i was on my way eating my pizza at a street bench nearby.

Postcards from Napoli has some of the best, authentic pizza in Sydney and the quality is always very consistent. We have eaten in or had delivery many times, but on Friday we ate in the restaurant with a group of 20. The set menu was great value and everyone really enjoyed the food. Dino was great in communicating with me prior to the day & then being patient with such a big group. Definitely recommend checking it out 😊

Compliments to everyone at this restaurant. The owner Dino, gave a warm welcome and provided excellent service. Ive never met Dino before but as soon as we arrived, felt like i had known him for years. Assisting anyway possible in a friendly manner. We decided to order the 'trust the boys' set menu option as we wanted to try abit of everything. We trusted Dino to choose our meal and he did an excellent job. Each dish was excellent and fresh. Highlight being The Calabrese pizza. For me, I felt like i was back in Italy enjoying this pizza. Closest you will find in Sydney that replicates what you would have in Naples. Will definitely be back soon. Keep up the good work. 👍

One of our favourite Italian restaurants! If you're looking for authentic Neapolitan pizza and pasta then look no further. Highly recommend the Tartufo e Porcini 🍕. They also have their own app which you order through which is super convenient

This place is awesome! The epitome of service with a smile and great food and terrific ambiance and a feeling of being in Italy. So many ands!!! The pasta is lovely as is the gnocchi and their pizzas are fresh and tasty! The best part though is their dessert! Not sure yum is the best word to describe their home made traditional Italian desserts made with love and have all the flavours that simply transport you to the beautiful streets of Napoli Having just returned from Italy myself I was looking for that authentic Italian everything and this place has it. Simple in decor yet Italian in every aspect Even better than the dessert are the amazing staff who are just amazing! They treat their guests Just like family! Their accents are to die for! They Make you feel welcome from the moment you step through the door. The food comes with a smile and they cater to your every need. Efficient and welcoming that’s for sure. Please please please do visit this place when in the Oatley area. Loads of street parking and easy to get to.

"Authentic Italian greatness meets downtown Oatley" Driving down the back of suburbia in quiet Oatley you would be forgiven for thinking surely this will be the same as any other semi authentic average Italian restaurant that you could find in any reasonably sized suburb. If this is your train of thought you are wrong, so very wrong. As we arrive and park across the street we see a group of people outside of our resturant destination. A line of people for this place? Surely not? There is a buzz outside building and we can see movement within the restaurant as they prepare for the wave about to hit. It is now time to enter and excitement is at its peak. Italian accents and well organised tables greet us as we are quickly seated. I hear a question about what beers are available from the closest table with the reply being "we only have italian beer and wine". This is going to be good! And it was. We choose a Focacci rosemary and oil bread which was devine. Such flavour and the bread is amazing. My partner chooses the vegan la Tradizione pizza while I choose the diavola. Paired with an italian Moscato for her and an italian red wine for me we were set. At this stage our mouths are watering, conversation is flowing and with those Italian accents in the background you could be forgiven for thinking you are in a resturant in Napoli. The pizzas arrive and we were not dissapointed. As an ex chef seeing a perfectly imperfect base with unorganised toppings just screams the flavours will speak for themselves and as we fold the slices and devour the pizzas time passes. Wine is drunk, plates emptied and bellies are satisfied. This place is worth the hype. Dino is ever present to advise, assist and entertain and this is part of the charm. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. For me to say anymore would be to take away from your experience which without doubt must be experienced now not tomorrow! This is an awesome Italian Restaurant where you can get the best pizzas and pasta. So fresh and full of flavor. And the atmosphere was amazing. Davide and Dino make it feel like you're in Italy. Will definitely be going back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Hands down the best Italian restaurant I've ever been suggested. Plenty of parking there and the staff are very friendly with excellent customer service. They were quick in providing me a recommendation. If you're after something that's worth trying out, I recommend the parmigiana. The location is quite spacious and great for a dinner date though they do have opening times during the lunch period. EDIT: just wanted to let you guys know that this place is also very accessible! be sure to ask the staff for any required assistance and enjoy your time there (:

This is now my favourite Pizzaria in Sydney. I love Neapolitan style pizza and before coming here I would have to go all the way to busy Sydney city for a quality pizza. We came here after reading a write up in a popular food blog. Unfortunately the booking process on the website is a little clunky and we didn’t actually make a reservation however the staff were super helpful and were able to sit us in a private little table outside. We ordered a diavola (with a twist), a margarita pizza and a prawn dish. The prawn dish was tasty however the serving size was quite small. We got 3 prawns and the dish cost $21. Now the pizzas... they were magical. The dough was soft, crispy, and perfectly light. The sauce, made from san Marzano tomatoes, was wonderfully balanced in sweetness and acidity superbly complimenting the subtle sourness of the dough. I couldn’t believe I could get such quality out of a place in quiet little Oatley. The owner Dino came over for a little chat and described his background, some of his brilliant cooking processes and ingredient selection. He was extraordinarily friendly and we could have chatted for hours. Thoroughly looking forward to coming back and eating my way through the entire pizza menu several times over. Thank you Dino and thank you Mario (our waiter for the evening). Great work guys!!!!

11 of us went to dinner at this restaurant to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Staff was absolutely lovely and accomodating, food was even better! Best Italian by far - and yes Ive been to Vacanza as well... Well where do we start. Firstly there is plenty of parking. Second yes you need a booking as its always full - for a reason. Third. Who would ever guessed that your pizza gets more quick to your table than the one from Dominos?! Yes I was hell suspicious that I had my Diavola pizza that quick! But surprise surprise there it comes at the same perfect - absolutely perfect - woodfired made pizza. I had the same good ones in Italy in Bergamo and Milan. Happy days - Italy has their little colony de extravaganza in Sydney established! Rounding up - I chose one of the Italian red wine's and they matched perfectly. Ending the night with some typical Italian cannoli and superb delicious hazelnut ice cream. Keep up the good work! I'll be back!

This place came highly recommended by an Italian lady and I was very keen to try their pizza. Went there for the first time on Sunday, May 2, 2021 and immediately fell in love with the place - small and cozy. Pizza was awesome, the service as well! I also liked the main guy (Dino) and his desire to make every single guest feel at home. He definitely succeeded in that. What is also very important about this place is the fact that they offer the best gluten-free pizza around. My fiance is a coeliac and it's quite difficult to find a pizza that wouldn't taste like a Michelin tyre. But this place - their gluten-free pizza tastes and looks like a normal pizza and is better than many other normal pizzas I had had in the past. The only problem with the place is the distance - it is very far, but, God willing, I definitely plan to go there again. It's worth it! I give it five stars only because there is no option for more, otherwise I would give it six or seven. I highly highly recommend this place!

Yo, This place is very unsuspecting. It absolutely smashes any expectations even though people told me it's phenomenal to begin with. Have been a few times now and every time the food and service has been amazing. Just celebrated my birthday there last night and the set menu is the way to go $50 a head or $55 with dessert. The starters, pizza, pasta and sides are spectacular and it's basically unlimited food. They keep you very happy. Great dudes all round, Dino is a legend and treats everyone like family that walks in. Get yourself here for the best pizza in Sydney(coming from a dude who has visited the top pizza restaurants in the world.) Thanks team, you know I will be back!

Wow. I was recommended this restaurant by my friend, and I had high expectations coming in due to the high reviews on Google maps. Let me just say that it exceeds my expectations. The owner was so accommodating and I absolutely loved the restaurant vibe. The staff were very attentive too. The food was amazing. We had the traditional calzoni, and a pasta dish. Then finished off with the special dessert. I would give you guys more than 5 stars if I could. Makes me rethink how I rate other restaurants if this is a 5. If you like traditional Neapolitan pizza there is none better hearabouts. Perfect base - stretchy and moorishly chewy, excellent buffalo mozzarella and passata. We have not eaten pizza of this standard outside of it's cultural home. Innovation pastas, a superb northern Italian darker beer and a superb traditional affogato topped the meal off. And all of this in beautiful Oatley. Who'd have thunk it.

He always spoke to you with a smile on his face. Their Woodfired pizzas , calzone and his gnocchi were to die for. Absolutely delicious!!!!! The food really made you feel you were actually dining in Naples. The Restaurant was really cozy, clean and very relaxing with a great atmosphere. My wife tried the Expresso Martini , could not get enough of it, probably because of the coffee they used. Great experience and definitely telling all our friends about this hidden gem. Doesn’t matter where you live in Sydney, you have to make the trip to this amazing place. It will be worth your while and you definitely won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be back!!!!!!!!!

We had the porcini pizza and sausage pizza last night and both were awesome (better options than the veggie one). Their Gnocchi is amazing and silky smooth and don't miss the calamari for entree too. The last time I’ve eaten as good as I did at ‘Postcard from Napoli’ was in Italy! The food was delicious and fresh, both quality and quantity here! The service was second to none! The price was low considering the amount of food we ate! I recommend choosing the menu option ‘Trust the Boys’ which was $55 per head including corkage. This option was amazing, the waiters bring you the best and most popular food on their menu! Soooooo much food came out including both cold and hot entrees, 3 different pizzas, 2 different pastas and dessert! We over ate and enjoyed it. My sister who is both gluten and dairy intolerant was catered for, with delicious options and had her own entrees, a whole pizza and pasta plate to herself, which was served to the table on top of all the food I previously mentioned. It was one of the best food experiences we have ever had. The owners who run the restaurant were like part of the family. I cannot recommend this place enough! We will be back! Thank you for running a restaurant the way it should be done!

Postcard From Napoli is synonymous with excellent food and charismatic service but the best compliment I can give is how genuine the dining experience is. Everything, from the enthusiastic and conscientious staff to the authentic pizza bases and toppings, is honest and done with care; there’s nothing contrived or overdone. If you want to dine in a place that’s passionate about sharing good food and good conversation, you cannot go past Postcard From Napoli. Book ahead - seating is limited and they regularly book out, even on a Tuesday night when you’d expect suburban restaurants to be quiet.

A little piece of Napoli in Oatley, run by a young couple from Naples. You really feel like you're in Napoli when you taste the food. The pizza is incredibly authentic: thin centre (not soupy) with moderate toppings and a soaring crust burnished with wood smoke. THE CRUST! It's the best in the Shire hands-down, probably the best in Sydney. Every other dish was composed just as thoughtfully. But the absolute best thing isn't even the food: it's the staff. The owner (also our server) was so friendly and warm. Multiple staff members (almost all Italian) passed by during our meal to ask if we were enjoying ourselves and if they could take care of us. And every single staff member - dishwasher to pizza chef - that we passed thanked us as we left. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Beautiful food, wonderful service! I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough! It was our first time taking the children to Postcard Napoli and we all really enjoyed our family night out. Wonderfully detailed and prompt service and authentic delicious food. Very grateful for all the attention given to our youngest daughter -- bringing her straws for her juice and and a small plastic plate and spoon for her pasta. We didn't even have to ask, the waitress was so attentive. The place was absolutely packed and buzzing but our food came out super quick, no waiting around, and I felt like we were so well attended to throughout the whole evening. I don't know how they do it but they are brilliant! So friendly and so much individual attention to every table. They clearly love what they do and Dino is so passionate about the food that they serve. This was my second time eating there and each time I have ordered one of the specials -- Dino just sells it so well every time when he welcomes you into the restaurant and it is never disappointing! There wasn't a single scrap of food left on any of our plates by the end of the evening. It was all so delicious! And the kids rounded off their meal with the Nutella Twist which they now rate as their most favourite dessert. Super simple and super yum. We will definitely be going back. By far the best place to eat in Oatley and, in fact, one of the best places we've eaten in in the whole of Sydney.

Basically a pizza joint, only three pasta dishes. In a table of nine, there was no consensus about the quality and taste. I had both pizza and pasta but did not like either. Others said the pizza was very good. It is an acquired taste for this type of menu. Some antipasti were very average and bland but the melintzane was exceptional. Service and atmosphere were great.

The place gets filled up quite easily, even on a weekday night so it is strongly advised that you guys book ahead. The place is great and you get to see your pizza being made in the woodfire kitchen. The quality of the pizzas were really excellent. The owner is also very passionate, outgoing, friendly and polite and he'll greet you and explain the menu to you. The pizzas there came really quickly which is a bonus if you're really hungry. We purposely ordered quite a range of pizzas from the 'Classic' section, 'Gourmet' section and 'Calzoni' section and all of them tasted fantastic. The pizza there isn't your typical Dominos or Pizza hut style kind of pizza, instead it has a very soft base and all of them are made to order and cooked in a woodfire oven, giving it a slightly charred texture. The prices for the pizzas, while on the slightly more expensive side of things ($16-$26 each) was definitely well worth it given the quality of food, the service and the restaurant environment itself. They also serve pastas but it's not on the menu as the pasta dishes changes on a week to week basis according to the owner. While the pasta that we got tasted really delicious, it was quite expensive for what it was worth so my suggestion is to just stick with the pizzas on the provided menu. Overall, this place is excellent and I would definitely recommend paying this place a visit. Whether it's a family night out, a date night or just casual hangs with a bunch of friends; especially if you're craving for some good pizza.

Firstly, this place ain't cheap. But what you get is an authentic Italian dining experience, similar to what I've experienced in Italy. All the staff are incredibly friendly and passionate about what they do. This place might not be suitable for your cheap and dirty take away pizza lust, but is perfect as a great night out. The quality of this restaurant is similar to what you'll find in the city or Newtown, a real place for quality located in the quiet little town of Oatley. I would travel from quite far away to dine here.

After having dined here tonight I felt compelled add my opinion of this hidden jewel of a place tucked away in a quiet backstreet. Who'd have thought you should skip Haberfield, Leichhardt or Five Dock when you're looking for a real Italian experience but this is cerainly the case and I couldn't be happier. I didn't think it possible to recreate the pizzas we've enjoyed through Italy thinking it must be something missing from Australia that made it impossible but these guys have really nailed it and reading some other reviews it's clear I'm not alone in my opinion. Their pastas are not all available and instead they have a few choices which are changed around from time to time to make preparation more efficient but the pizzas are all available and they can punch them in hot and fresh in a matter of minutes. The service is something else again, prompt, efficient and to say friendly is an understatement. It's easy to see how much they love what they do and the passion they have for what is created in the kitchen. I can imagine the style of pizza here won't be to everyone's taste as it's removed from the American style thick base loaded with toppings that is normal here but to get a feel of real Italian pizza and atmosphere without needing a passport this is where must come.
