Fantastic authentic Italian style pizza - nice staff, no pushy overselling. The place was buzzing and full at 6 pm on a weekday - so clearly a local favorite. The pizza’s were really flavorful and the cold meat platter we ordered had a nice selection. We were driving so didn’t get a wine, but seemed like a good selection.

Very, very good pizza. The tartufo was generously seasoned with truffle, sausage and mushroom, and the crust was divine. You certainly do pay for the pleasure, but the prices are similar to other woodfired pizza joints, where the pizza itself is superior so all-in-all I'd say the value for money is reasonable.

Had an amazing experience at Rosso Antico - will definitely be going back, and highly recommend. The service was incredibly friendly, food and wine delicious and very reasonably priced (e.g. we ordered two antipasti expecting them to be quite small, they were the size of a main meal and were of top quality). We were also lucky enough to meet the wonderful Gina (mother of the owner who at 75 years of age still helps out in the kitchen making gnocchi by hand) who shared stories of her past and offered us complimentary housemade limencello (the most delicious I've ever had).

I'm Italian I've been chef for 10 years. I can promise this is the best of new town for my opinion, and the opinion of the Thai girl that I was with.. I ordered the pizza mix mushroom... And i realize was without napoletana sauce.. I ask the waiter osvaldo if I can have a bit of sauce a part... After 3 minutes he bring me an amazing cup of hot incredibly tasty napoletana sauce... You need to try absolutely the arancini.. The balance of taste and ingredients doesn't have equal. You have time to eat the pizza, and.. Tastes as good as it looks! Deep fried olives for the entrees were different but fantastic together with the selection of wines on offer. The pastas and pizzas were simply amazing. Reading the reviews as usual, before giving my opinion, in order to compare my one time experience with what it's been already happening in the place. Well it was funny: all the 1* and 2* reviews are about a soggy, large burned edges and topping falling off pizza. Let me tell you something: the authentic Italian pizza, specifically this one from Naples, it's meant to be like that. But let me rephrase this for you all, Domino's pizza eaters :) The pizza dough it's brilliantly done, it melts into your mouth while a mix of high quality topping brings your palate to heaven and back. The topping is falling off, true, because this is what naturally happens when you don't have gluey cheese-like stuff on your pizza. Finally the edges, like the rest of the pizza, are cooked to perfection: those little black bumps are a reminder to whoever is enjoying this precious meal, that the pizza has just come out of wooden oven, where the heat of the fire has kissed it's surface whit natural imperfections. Yes the edges are wide, to surround and compensate the intensity of the pizza center. If you have been enjoying that pizza, you won't leave them into your plate. Anyway, not everyone has to like it. I simply loved it. Will definitely come back.

Maybe I expected better considering the terrific reviews. The pizzas were ok but far from the best pizzas I’ve had in Sydney. Moretti Leichhardt and La Dasfida Haberfield both have superior pizza in my opinion. The four cheese gnocchi though was very good. The service was good but not great. We wanted a small piece of bread for our toddler but instead were brought out a basket of sourdough which cost $8 which was barely touched.

Quality woodfired pizzas and fairly priced. The dough was so lovely, soft and chewy - not sure if that's the best way to describe it. Went as a group of 6. Each pizza has 6 slices so it is the perfect group size because you get to try a bunch of pizzas. We originally ordered 4 but ordered another when we saw the special menu item. 🍕Tartufo ($25) fior di latte, italian sausage, porcini & truffle paste 🍕Quattro Formaggi ($21) scarmoza, fior di latte, gorgonzola, & parmigiano 🍕Diavola ($23) san marzano, fior di latte, salami, olives, roasted capsicum & chilli 🍕Napoli ($18) san marzano, fior di latte, anchovy, olives & oregano 🍕Special ($26) basil pesto, foot do latte sausage, potato, parmassn cheese cream Anchovies were quite salty for my taste. Cheese was super cheesy, even as a cheese lover I don't know if I could've handled more that one slice. I loved the truffle, it was so flavourful. The special flavour was interesting, I've never had potato on a pizza and the pesto was pretty fresh.

Hi guys, enjoyed our first Covid visit to pick up pizza. Very nice. Except - when someone orders the seafood pizza, they expect seafood on the pizza. As opposed to a few crumbs of prawn and fish. Seriously! Paid the money! Expect the result. But otherwise very good base and the other two pizzas were great.

We enjoyed our time at this pizza bar as service was polite, quick and just the right amount of attentiveness. The pizza base was perfect - light, crunchy and not too dense like chain outlets. The only reason I didn’t rank five stars is because they threw our leftovers in the bin rather than packing them for take away as requested. Simple mistake but it was half a pizza that went to waste and deprived me of a hangover breakfast the next morning.

This is our go to for Pizza in Sydney. So lucky to have this as our local. We started with Deliveroo and then realised we preferred coming on to eat. It's not just the pizza we come back for (although, check out that puffy crust!) The pasta and mussels are awesome and the service is excellent. So authentic and welcoming. Rosso Antico is dark vermouth. Make sure you try one when you're here. Pro tip: The liquor merchant next door has 10+ different vermouths on offer should you want to take some home with you. It also has an awesome range of natural wines, local beers and a good selection of non alcoholic drops right at the front.

In my opinion one of the best pizzas in Sydney. Awesome spot for woodfired pizza. The crust was nice and puffy and a little bit chewy. The base was thing and had a good crunch but definitely not overdone and the toppings were generous but perfect balance. Nothing was overpowering. The pastas are also delicious. Pricing was very reasonable (about $20 per Pizza) and it was super quick.

Rosso Antico Italian fare on the bustling Enmore strip (Enmore Rd) is a neighbourhood bastion that holds high regards with locals and those who know their pizza around town. "Taking Italian food back to its original traditional roots" is their motto, and from first slice, it's hard to argue with their stake in the Sydney pizza game. The funghi misti (pic no. 3) boasts 3 types of 'shrooms and a Bianca base – that's no tomato sauce, let the cheese, dough and funk do the talking. The dough is tactile and crispy all the same, highly absorbent with burnt bubbles, akin to a soft naan bread. It's robust and funky in flavour and actually works as a great plane for the intensity of the assorted funghi flavours. The other selection is a saucy house special – the Vesuvio – a half margherita, half nduja and ricotta-filled calzone, packing the best of tradition all in 1, the star of this Siamese pie being the ricotta which fills the calzone half. It's a good amount that cuts the spice and tartness of the nduja perfectly. Make sure to open the fold up a tad and spread some out over the pizza side 😉 to accompany the whole meal, imported Italian wines are the move. Accept no substitutes. Scussi.

MUST try the calamari, forget your usual expectations its a little different but moreish still. And their pizza is to die for. Best to go in person, fills up quickly and worth any wait time.

A noisy and cheerful place that does great pizzas and other dishes. The rocket and parmesan salad was excellent, the pizzas are thin crust, classic types. ie. you wont find a kimchi, roast mongoose and guava or even a tandoori eggplant with sheep cheese. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Good street acess, but not sure if there's a toilet.

I’m not a particular fan of Italian food. But the dishes caught my eye when we walked by. I had the SPAGHETTI CON POLPETTE: Noodles were perfectly cooked, the sauce rocked my world, and the meatballs complimented the dish stupendously. The waiters/waitresses were keen on pleasing. The food was to die for, but by far the best part of our experience at Rosso Antico was the service. We came as a group of six celebrating a surprise birthday and going away, so we were a bit loud! But they were so accommodating and lovely. You can tell everyone who works here is passionate about their job and delicious food. Cannot recommend highly enough and we will definitely return!

Really great experience in this restaurant!!!!Our first time and we guarantee you that it won't be the last. We had arancini balls to start with followed by 2 pizzas (a potato and pancetta and a diavola). Great restaurant pizza bar vibe. A comfy classy but chilled layout and friendly staff. We had the crochettes, Walnut pear salad, margarita pizza and a veg pizza. A dipping sauce would have complimented the crochettes. Both pizza's tasted great but the sauce was a little sweet and runny. Overall I had a great time here and definitely go back soon. Do you like eating authentic Italian food? Well, this is right place that suits you. I ordered a couple of pizza on a Friday night on uber eats and I had to wait almost 40 minutes to get the order delivered. But then I understood why I waited that much. Really damn good pizza and great service too! That wood-fired thin base is just beautiful to pull apart and eat, and I like the various options on the menu. I think that perhaps my pizza I chose wasn't my favourite but I felt that was more of a preference thing with a lot of cheese (on the Norma) - everything else was really great! Decent drinks selection, and in general the menu is quite a good size, not too little and not too much which makes me think that they do a few things and they do them well. There was a bit of a wait on the Monday I went, but I daresay that is a rare occasion (for a Monday). On busier days I would expect a wait, but its worth it considering the amazing value for the quality of pizza you get at those prices!

Nobody will believe me when I say this but I can't fault Rosso Antico. And I feel I risk sounding like one of those obviously fake reviews that companies get their friends to write on Google for them, but this place literally has the best pizza I've ever had and the best tiramasu I've ever had. The pizza is always cooked perfectly, topped with ingredients that are always in the correct dough:ingredient ratio. And you can tell the ingredients are of the highest quality. The decor is nice, the staff are friendly and very Italian, and the drinks list is solid. Go to this place, eat the pizza, drink the beer, die happy.

Yummy real Italian style pizzas that arrive really quickly and balanced on large tomato tins, this popular pizza place has a high turnover...though you aren't pressured to leave! Always friendly Italian guys on table service, ours happily served our son's birthday cake with candles and at no extra charge! It's our go to place eating out with the kids.

Good authentic pizza in a convenient location. Certainly in the favourites list, not as good as the best places (Naremburn Pizzeria and The Meat, Cheese Co, Alexandria)...but certainly worth going to. The service was good, although the waiter took away our empty bottle of water half way through our meal and never returned with a replacement. Nothing major, more just noteworthy. The place gets packed, we were fortunate to go later on a weeknight, it was near empty. I'd recommend booking if your wanting dinner Thurs, Fri, Sat night. The prices are reasonable: about $16-24 for pizza's and the Entree's are shy of $20 each. The pizza's are thin and they've clearly invested in quality ingredients, there was a really nice mix on our prosciutto and rocket pizza.The cheese they use is gorgeous (a bit stronger for those of you used to bland mozzarella). Would recommend.

Awesome new Pizza place in Enmore, we walked and it was buzzing, we managed to nab the last table. Pizza is great, the standout favourite was Potato, Rosemary and Pancetta. At this point, they just need to work on the service, my friend ordered the gnocchi which was delicious, but came out almost immediately and they were done before any of the pizzas came out. The staff were very friendly but some coordination between the kitchens needs some work. Fairly extensive wine and spirits list and its BYO. Will definitely be back.

It is the third time in the last 5 months that we come to this restaurant and honestly, they've never failed. This time we came on a Saturday night and it was very busy. We had to wait almost half an hour to be seated, but trust me guys, it worths it. In this occasion we ordered arancini balls for entrée and then we decided to get into the pizza special and we ordered both pizza special available that night which were the burratina and the sfiziosa. It seemed not true! , but we were completely astonished how tasty they were. Athough it was a quite busy night, the staff was very attentive, professional and efficient, especially one of the guys whose name was Oswaldo that read our mind by bringing us some fresh chilli oil without even ask to him. THANKS GUYS FOR GIVING ME ANOTHER GREAT FOOD EXPERIENCE

We stopped in for dinner before a show at the nearby Enmore Theatre. The restaurant was very busy but we were seated at the bar while we waited and were promptly served drinks. After waiting only about 5 minutes we had a table. The pizza (margherita) was absolutely superb! Service was friendly, attentive, and fast. Rosso Antico is a gem. As soon as you enter, you can feel that homely vibe that comes from a self-assured restaurant. Cheesy arancini and the fluffiest woodfired pizza bases. We had the margherita, vesuvio (half margherita, half calzone), and patate e pancetta. Although all the food was amazing, the margherita stole the show. Oh, and to top it all off, Rosso Antico offers BYO wine. A must for traditional pizza lovers.

Surprisingly prefere the prosciutto one over my go-to truffle pizza.

Got a Deliveroo from here. It took almost an hour due to their kitchen being overwhelmed. When the pizza arrived it was absolutely fantastic though! Perfect dough, delicious generous toppings.

I've never been to Italy but if I could imagine what pizza there tastes like...it's probably similar to this place. You can really taste the freshness in the ingredients!
