Honestly I was sceptical when other reviews claimed this was the best pizza in Sydney. But man this meal was so good I regret sharing with my girlfriend, I could probably devour the entire pizza by myself. Woodfire pizza cooked to perfection got the smokey crunch to it but not burnt. Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. Be warned these guys are busy. None stop takeaway orders from the moment we sat down. But its worth the wait! Great service Will be back

Great pizza's and wines are well prized (go for by the bottle) and a nice drop. What really impressed us was the service. A very busy Saturday night with many take away orders as well. People dining in and turned tables quickly. We only waited a few minutes and had no reservation on a Saturday so we didn't have high hopes for a table. Staff very friendly and a special thanks to Illaria who was amazing! I would have offered her a job if I was still managing restaurants which I did for a long time. Can highly recommend this place.

It is literally the best pizza I’ve had in Sydney so far. The dough itself is so delicious plus the sauce is so tasty. So many flavours available with plenty of options for everyone. It’s a very small place and it’s a bit annoying if you need the toilet because you have to go all around the building walking in the dark, but pizzas are well made here. They make traditional pizzas but also not traditional. We had a couple of those, Dolomite and Cinque Terre, and they were good. I think Dolomite has a very good combination of flavours but it would have been perfect with red sauce instead of the yellow one. But I understand that using yellow sauce for pizzas it’s something unusual in most of the places and it gives character to Tipica Pizza. A waitress (probably he was the manager or the owner) was really polite with us. He also give us chocolates before we left.

Authentic Italian restaurant with quite a few pizza options and traditional drinks and appetizers. Even on a Saturday night it didn’t take us long to be seated and our drinks and pizza arrived quickly. Will definitely come back! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars it’s because the pizza was a bit too salty and dry and they forgot to give us water.

New little pizzeria on Bondi road. Delicious wood fired pizza with fluffy crust, and a good variety of pizza. The "Croche" pizza is a must try! The Quattro formaggi is also delicious, but ask for a side of chilli flakes. Service is good and friendly and prompt and restaurant is modern and clean. Only about 8 tables so make a booking if you have a group. Amex accepted (no surcharge). We'll be back!

Seriously amazing pizza. I had the pumpkin one and it was delicious (I’m not a huge fan of tomato). You can sit out on the street and feel the real buzz of the area, a great spot to people watch. The service was a bit slow but perhaps they were just busy. I’ll definitely be back!

It felt authentic when all the staff were speaking Italian, then half the customers were speaking Italian. And then he pizza come out, OMG, it’s DELISH. I live in Bondi and this spot has gone straight to the number one spot for pizza in Bondi..... There is good pizza in Bondi. The potato gnocchi is gluten free and also very tasty. Well worth a visit. I rarely give anything 5/5 but this really is exceptional pizza, done in the very authentic Italian style. All the ingredients are decent quality, and the pizza base is exceptional. It’s thin but all bubbled up. The brick oven they use, blasts your pizza with heat so it’s cooked in about 5 mins flat. A really lovely selection of non standard Italian beers too. It’s a very small place but it’s really exceptional in its vibe and the waitress we had on the day actually cared about the place and the food. An Italian cook and staff really make this worth a visit.

I've been ordering from these guys almost every Sunday for a couple of years now. They're my go to for my Sunday evening pizza ritual. They're the closest I've found in the area to the type of pizza you can find in Italy: tasty, good products, good dough, gastronomic pizza. If you're a junk pizza kind of person (Domino's, Pizza Crust, ...), don't expect the same thing, this is totally different. But I encourage anyone to give these guys a go. Plus they have great customer service, which is often overlooked by Aussie businesses. When they do small mistakes, they make up for it, and I really appreciate that as a customer.

I’m going to make a big claim and say “best pizza in Bondi” feel free to put that on a sign above your shop although I don’t recommend it. Everyone knows not to trust those signs. You don’t need it. The Croche made me feel like a child again. When I was a child my parents took me to Lonestar (a Texas inspired eatery where you could throw your nuts on the ground until they got sued because I think an older lady broke her neck) they did the best cheese and bacon chips. This pizza reminded me of that taste. But it also reminded me of true Italian pizza, the kind you can only get in Italy. The topics range is great. I eat here so much.

We just missed placing our order on the website by 1 minute as they closed whilst we were filling in our details. We tried to call and the staff member who picked up was incredibly helpful and funny. The service was amazing, she even offered to deliver the pizza even though they had closed. The pizza arrived and was absolutely delicious. The tiramisu was the best one we've had in a long time (and it's my favourite dessert). Can't wait to have it again soon.

Feel like I'm consistently disappointed when I eat out for Italian but my partner loves it. Ordered uber eats from Tipica and thoroughly enjoyed it. We got the garlic foccacia (burnt but the other meals made up for it), ragu spaghetti which I was super happy with, fusili gamberi which my partner loved, capricciosa pizza which we both loved, and the tiramisu and Nutella gnocchi which were delicious - especially the gnocchi! Thanks guys can't wait to come back!

The pizza was pretty good, pity the customer service was so poor… was told a 40min wait and when I complained after an hour I was met with rudeness and obstinacy. And I didn’t receive the extra toppings I ordered either. Excellent pizza dough! It's risen over several days so it's got a really good chewy texture and nice sourdough flavor. Only bummer was that the toppings we got were a bit too wet (the pizza sauce could have been cooked down a bit more and although we love fresh mozzarella, it hold a lot of moisture) so the dough in the middle of the pizza was a bit soggy. But still a yummy dinner! And seems like a place run by true Italians so would definitely recommend!

This is my favourite pizza in Sydney, very authentic and tasty! The atmosphere and people are really friendly, the pizza ordered directly from their website gets home very quickly and warm and there are plenty of options for all dietary requirements. I simply love it!

Incredible! Lots of Pizza joints in Bondi, but Tipica smashes it. Definitely expensive but it's worth the price. The dough is perfect, nice texture and perfect amount of char on the crust. I strongly recommend the Pumpkin Pizza, such an amazing flavour combination.

Not bad. Avoid the calzone and you’ll be right. The bases are excellent but overall. Just ok. Last time we came they were great pizzas, but you have to watch the pizzas come out of the oven coz they’ll just jamb your order in a hot bag, and not call out your name. Not sure if it’s a Saturday night thing.

Yum! One of the better pizza joints in Sydney (& Eastern Suburbs)! Really great ravioli, salad and pizzas. We had 2 pizzas, the pear and ruccola salad, and the ravioli for four people and it was he perfect amount. Definitely one of the top Italian pizza places in the area.

I have lived in the East for three years and your pizzas are the ones I will be coming back for. We hadn't found a base yet my non GF partner would eat too. Seriously YUMMMMMM! I came for dinner with some Argentinian friends on Saturday night (without any booking. The restaurant was very busy and the waitress was alone, and running all around, but she immediately came outside to check on us and took our number telling that she would give us a call as soon as a table was available (really cool in Bondi, where in some busy restaurants we don't get a look if we don't have a booking). 15 minutes later, we were seated. During the diner, my friends could not stop to ask the waitress to take some pictures of us etc, and even though she was still busy she always came to help with a big smile ! THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT ENERGY ! We ordered pizza (IN LOVE WITH THE DOLOMITE AND DIAVOLA), friendly atmosphere, with amazing service and amazing food. We will be back very soon!

I have so many favourite dishes from this little Italian dream, but I can’t go past the fresh fusilli prawn and chilli pasta which is to die for! 5 stars food. Minus one just because of an impolite or maybe just tired waitress. My girlfriend asked for a cream base pizza which wasn't possible - all good. The more questions we had the worse mood our lady showed, which isn't proper. We paid over $130 for a dinner, with this value you're awaiting maybe of a bit better dealing. So we changed our waitress by asking/talking to a different lady and everything was perfect since then. Really one of the best pizza we've both had, also high quality sortiment of wines - Pinot Bianco Almonor 2016 was so delicious that I'm going to look for this in a shop.
