Amazing! My friend and I have done almost all of the rooms now and had the best time in doing so. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, they were lovely to chat to and made the overall experience so much better. The rooms are good for different kinds of people and help to get your brain running. Honestly I wish they had more rooms just so we could go back and expirence more! The abandoned cabin was our favourite and very memorable for us both. Keep doing what your doing! 10/10

We had a group of five attempt the mad scientist room last night and we managed to escape with 6 1/2 minutes left!! We enjoyed it so much!! We all had to work together to solve the clues to get out and everyone was involved With much laughter and thinking!! Such a great experience we will be back to attempt escaping more rooms!! Amazing escape rooms! Always have a great time when I go. We went on Saturday and we had Charlie (hope I'm not misspelling your name) as our game master. Very friendly and super helpful when we needed it. Escaped the speakeasy with 57 seconds to spare, couldn't have done it without you :)

We went as a group of 3 to do the Speakeasy escape and the atmosphere and decor were great all throughout. The puzzles were quite clever and required some thinking and the game master guided us a little without giving too much away. My favourite puzzles were the ones that used NFC and magnets and the like, they felt really good and are a lot more immersive and thematic than just another padlock and there were some really nice ones in this room such as a chess board with pieces that opened a lock. Overall a great experience I would recommend to anyone.

7 friends (in 50's) had a great time at Adventure Rooms Adelaide, first timers. Jailbreak. 1 lock from finish! Just rushed the final clue🤷‍♀️. Host (sorry ?Josh) was excellent. Think they should have a beer/ wine/ softy to unlock finally... might make the blokes more motivated! We will definitely be back for another Adventure.

I was already a fan of escape rooms in the form of computer games, so I was pretty excited to give this a go. It didn't disappoint! The puzzles were great and the session was perfectly timed; our group escaped with a minute to spare! If you like puzzles and want some fun with a group (at least 3), definitely give this a go!

Did an escape room with 2 people. At first, I felt underwhelmed with the room until I was wrong. I was very wrong... there was a secret room. This was an amazing experience and I will do it again. I took a group of teenagers there for a birthday celebration, something to which venue staff don't always look forward, but the Adventure Rooms Adelaide staff were friendly, accommodating, efficient and fun. They split the group up for a competitive experience and the kids really enjoyed the challenge. I would highly recommend this as something to be done that doesn't involve electronics and gets them using their brains!

this was a great day out with the family or friends, whilst only seeing one room, i felt that the challenges were reasonable and seriously fun! my only complaint would be the price for one hour was crazy, this couldn’t be a regular occurrence but rather a saving up situation! the staff were extremely helpful and inviting, definitely am coming back :)

Amazing adventure room! One of the best I’ve been too. The clues, challenges/rooms were a 5/5 difficulty rating, a 30% escape rate and we escaped with 8 minutes left. The rooms got more complex as time went on and the clues were helpful along the way if needed. Also built a strong rush and had an exciting nature!

Very interactive & challenging. Definitely a great team work activity, but no matter what kind of weather it is outside you NEED to dress light because “YOU WILL GET HOT” there are no air conditioned rooms & this makes you feel a little sick or just stressed out. More so if your group is determined to get out!

We did a 3/5 in difficulty room, and escaped with nearly 20 minutes left, so we'll try a harder room next time. Great fun and friendly staff! Our team of two did the Mad Scientist tonight and the male staff (can't remember his name!) was so kind. The actual room was pretty good. It was my first time doing a room, so next time I'll choose a harder level because it wasn't as long as I thought it'd be. But, it was also super fun and brain teasing! Definitely will come back again.

Excellent rooms, intelligent puzzles, designed with attention to detail and often tongue in cheek. We completed all rooms now and that's unfortunate, because we've been enjoying them tremendously. The balance of number-lock puzzles and other, more sophisticated trickery is nice. Rooms don't get boring and the story's narrative plays (mainly) through the entire game.

Have tried and completed the Scientist and Black Queen escape rooms. Both rooms were very well done with the Black Queen coming on top for me with that slight feeling of fear added in. The puzzles were difficult but not impossible to figure out on your own. We did however require one hint which helped nudge us in the right direction. I've done a few escape rooms in Adelaide, this was by far my favourite one!! We were 4 people who did the Speakeasy game. The interior was amazing and the puzzles were cleverly and creatively thought out. Half of our group haven't previously done an escape room but their friendly staff were very helpful and answered all their questions. Had such a fun time and will be coming back to solve more puzzles again soon.

First time doing an Escape room - we popped some cherries of other 1st timers by doing the “Gaol Break room”. Was fantastic and really gets you thinking outside the box, team work is key and utilising everyone’s strengths. The girls didn’t escape either room but neither did the boys - we all had a great time! The only downside is the facilities need stocking more regularly (no I didn’t advise and this is not reflective of their review) it’s 4 because no one is perfect.

Mafia was fantastic. Easily the hardest room that the Adelaide escape scene has to offer but way more intriguing then all of the other franchises. The staff were incredible as well and made it even more positive. Special thanks to our room host Molly who was so enthusiastic and helpful. Recently went here for a team night and could not have had a more pleasant and fun experience! The adventure rooms were challenging enough to take the time but still able to be completed (eventually), and the staff were amazingly friendly. The staff were even more than willing to answer my many questions and help with the problems I had booking leading up to the event.Special shout out to Bec who explained things really clearly and ensured we were having an awesome time the whole way through. Definitely recommend this place as a safe, mind challenging, team bonding experience for workplace events. Will be bringing my friends back to try a different room!!

The Gaol Break was the room we attempted and all together, us two adults and one 14-year-old boy were unable to escape in time (but we were told we did really well for our first time). We all found the rooms super interesting and were really intrigued by all the different challenges! It was definitely tricky at times, but super satisfying when we were able to crack the codes! Some of the puzzles are reasonably easy if you have done escape rooms before, but of the two rooms I’ve done here so far, I’ve been stumped on one puzzle for at least 20 minutes! WE WILL BE DOING THE OTHER ROOMS A.S.A.P. WE ALL HAD AN AMAZING ADVENTURE WITH THE FAMILY. WE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THE SERVICE. THE EXPERIENCE, AND WE MADE IT OUT!!! SO... I can't believe how much fun we had! My three friends and I did the mad scientist room and I can't wait to go back and do the other rooms. The staff were very polite, respectful and friendly. The rooms/puzzles/clues were well thought out and were challenging enough to stimulate our brains, but not so hard that they were impossible. I wish that had more rooms, I want to do them all!

This place is better than Escape Hunt. From my experience, the rooms at Adventure Rooms offer a lot more variety to testing your teams problem solving skills. There's also a more diverse range of puzzles. It's not entirely about recognising patterns and logical thinking to open locks but more on creative thinking e.g. the commonplace items you find in a room may be a key to solving a puzzle. I've found that on-screen hints at Adventure Rooms have been much more valuable and helpful than verbal instructions given by the staff at Escape Hunt. Some may argue that this makes it less of a challenge but I'd rather get the satisfying feeling of beating the room (and actually getting my money's worth). For beginners: do the Mad Scientist.

This was my first experience of an adventure room and I was very impressed. The staff are friendly, well organised and enthusiastic. The adventure room itself was clean, well set up and all the equipment was in good working order. The puzzles themselves were all reasonable and did not require any stretches of 'moon logic' to complete, whilst still being challenging. (My son and I did manage to complete the Mad Scientist escape although the staff did allow us an extra five minutes to get the final key, which was very kind of them). I was very impressed that they offered to take photos of us after the escape on our own devices. (they request no photography inside the rooms) Some entertainments try to nickel and dime you for things like photographs after charging you a premium for the experience and Adelaide Adventure rooms offered this for free to every visiting group. There was no other merchandise or other attempt to separate you from more cash either. There were a steady flow of groups of all ages, including young family groups, which I thought was nice. The staff kept everything moving and on time. Make sure you arrive early enough to do the sign-in if you go.

We did the Mad Scientist Room as a family (2A + 13yo,10yo) for our 13yo's birthday. We had so much fun, and we will definitely come back and do the other rooms that we are able to do with the kids. It was challenging, but not to the point of frustrating, and any hints were helpful,but not overly obvious (well, not to us!!) The staff member who talked us through it was friendly and helpful. Its an amazing family experience and we cant wait to come back.The kids are planning the next one already!

Having had no context of the rooms at all, I was initially a bit worried that it was slightly overrated but I can tell you, it is such a fun experience. We had a group of 5 through the Black Queen room and we had a blast. Such a thrill to be able to get through it as well. Absolutely stellar experience! If you like any sort of mystery or puzzles then you *MUST* do this. Both "escape room" businesses in Rundle Mall are amazing, so you won't go wrong with either... so them both!!! The staff were so amazingly friendly and comforting, particularly as a first timer, they explained things so well. I went as a duo and I was worried I would embarrass myself and be doing the first puzzle for the entire thing but we nearly made it out... then we went back again and got out with a minute to spare! If you're even *thinking* about doing it, stop thinking and book in!!!

Did the Gaol Break as a family with 3 kids aged 12 to 17. There were high 5s all around when we got out the room to only realize we still had another room. We failed but got damn close. Kids were bit skeptical of going as it did not involve something online but they enjoyed the challenge and really got stuck in. Was a great family experience. I must say it is not cheap though for a family outing. One of the few activities where there are no family prices.
