A. S.If you're after a different place, this one is a must-go.
M. L.Really cute vibe, reminds me of Melbourne - lovely staff. Hard to find, but I guess that adds to the vibe. Worth it once you get there tho.
B. B.Interesting little underground bar and venue. Heading down Conrad Lane to get there feels like you're being sent into an ambush, but you're not! It's lovely to find a friendly alternative place tucked away in the heart of the city. A friend who works in the city plans to make it her regular!
T. H.Brilliant alternative venue. Everything from the decor to the music to the drinks to the patrons has a character to it. In the basement out the back of 116 Hindley St (down a small alley). Great place to spend a night!

A. S.I've only been to a few clubs, but Ancient World is top of the list, the music, environment and relaxed vibe isn't for everyone, but for those that enjoy that type of thing, it's perfect.
It's a fantastic place to grab a drink, chill out to some live music on one of the many couches. It's in the perfect location for getting away from the heavy, "doof doof" nature of Hindley for a bit.
If you want a club that feels like an easter egg in a video game, this is it
C. C.Great place to chill and meet people. Karaoke is available. Bar is available however not big range of drinks. Should expand bigger and less hidden. The alley way should be cleaned as it stenches too much which attracts non positive attractions

e. t.Off the meanest of Adelaide's streets, around the back of a dark alley, then through a graffitied courtyard you pass underground and back into the good old days of loud music with pulsing smokey dance floor, live electronic artists and friendly people.

C. T.this was strangely a really nice place for a gig. i walked in and was taken aback at the entryway but i love the candles, the vibe, the secrecy - super cool place.
