Comments of Belgian Beer Cafe
L.
Didn't even know this place existed. Nice fine, massive selection of beer. Service was good. Food good. Squid salad was on the pricey side at $27. Overall enjoyable outing
S. K.
So close to that 5 star rating. I'll come back and hopefully be forced to change it haha
Walked in and first impression was wow its beautiful, large fridge with unknown drinks in them, plenty of seating, good music.
When I walked in there, I became the 2nd person in queue, and I was in that queue for maybe 5 mins. That wasn't a problem (nothing was REALLY a problem) but when I eventually ordered, I said I would love some food and drink, so I ordered my food and then the server went away, and I stood there waiting to order my drinks.
Anyway about 5 mins later I was re-served and they apologized.
But the GOOD POINTS the cherry beer! It's awesome! Give it a go! If you dont like it I bet you the person next to you does!
Smallish menu but something for everyone and I picked some brilliant food! The squid and pork belly was so well cooked, crunchy, sticky and tasty! I made such a mess and it was so worth it. Absolutely amazing prices too! My Wife and I left here after ordering an appetiser, 2 mains, 2 drinks for under $90 and we left so satisfied. Thank you for such a chilled out evening!
C. B.
Great atmosphere and the food was phenomenal! For a table of ten people, all good came out in good timing and each dish looked absolutely delicious. Really decently priced, too! The beer was delicious, couldn't go there and not try something from the extensive selection. Will be back for sure!
E. D.
I've been here multiple times and always a brilliant place to go. Amazing beet selection, and the spirits & cocktails are great too. Love their gin selection. If you're going to eat here their menu is amazing too! Had the steak here once & it was cooked to perfection. Really friendly staff and a good set up of places to sit and enjoy your selection of drink and food. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
I.
One of my favs Beer cafe in Adelaide CBD. Nice vibe and atmosphere around. Always a great feeling going to this cafe. Totally, enjoy this place!
R. L.
I have been visiting Belgian Beer Cafe for a while and for a while, and it is great. Their beers are the highlight that's for sure, especially their cherry beer as it is so delicious but you really cannot have a whole big pint of it. It can get over the top so I would suggest start of their smallest serve and see what you think. The venue itself is great and has pretty crowd and vibe to it. It is always busy so make sure you either get a reservation or get their early. While I have had their food, it is not too bad just like your typical pub food.
D. C.
Great location for the Fringe. Fabulous Trappist beer, white and dark. Be prepared for $18+ for large. But tasty!
E. S.
My partner and I stopped by here for a drink and some lunch. Their drinks menu have always been very impressive, you will without a doubt, be able to find a drink that you will enjoy there. We settled for a cocktail each and they were amazing. I would highly recommend the mussel pot that they offer for food. It was delicious and plenty enough to share. The staff are always friendly and very tentative to you. Highly recommend Belgium beer cafe for drinks and food.
S.
My husband found beers here that he couldn't even find in Germany; so we had a very enjoyable dinner and drinks. The nachos are great bang for buck at only $21 for the pulled pork, and it was such a large portion.
A companion ordered mussels and found they weren't prepared properly, very grainy and crunchy bits inside. That was a little disappointing but overall great vibe, food and drinks.
C. B.
Just called in for a quick snack, the dips were delicious we had a Capsicum and tomato dip and a green pea dip.
M. D.
Clean interior. The staff is also friendly and pleasant. We can drink delicious beer here. And Cucamba's craft beer has a unique scent and is interesting. Nice original T-shirts are also on sale. Those who enjoy craft beer should definitely visit.
M. T.
Beer is nice and all, but the automatic ordering system did not seems to work. We order via the system and waited for 20 minutes for a beer. The staff there said they didn't get the order from their end. Pretty much means I wouldn't get my beer if I didn't go in there and ask for it. Hope that was a hiccup for the system not how it always like.
A. W.
The lovely bartendress Christina offered such wonderful insight and advice to help us with our choices of beer. Her product knowledge was excellent but her charm was even better. We need more people like her because she represents true hospitality.
B. R.
Decent food and beer, a little overpriced in my opinion but you are paying for the experience so I can't complain too much. Would have liked more suggestions for beers to try as I said that there were too many to choose from. Was given a pale ale in a normal cup lol, and then you see everyone else in fancy glasses. Again nothing big or too bad just reason why I wasn't blown away
B. P.
Been here several times and always found it to have a great atmosphere and great service. Last weekend we attended upstairs for a fringe show. What a fabulous space for a function, with its own bar and rest rooms!

Deliciousness
Service was great, food, great prices reasonable
J. W. J.
This place was on my list since so long…. Finally I got to go @thebelgianadelaide
Let’s start with the vibe… omgggg such cool place right in the heart of the city, super happening…
I wanna jump to food now….
Grilled cauliflower sandwich was like party of flavours in my mouth…. Barbecue sauce, some kinda red little spicy sauce made really great sandwich….
Burger was epic in itself and chips 😍😍😍
Ok I just have to take step back on Nachos, honestly I wouldn’t recommend Nachos, just because according me it was not even close to authentic
However the overall experience was great and Adelaide people must not miss place 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Z. A.
The BBC is a great local Adelaide spot for after work drinks, dinner or a few cheeky ones late night. Has a very lively vibe with an awesome outdoor beer garden, and is walking distance to a number of different locations also. The staff are great and are extremely accommodating, I've had a number of bookings there and they are also flexible and friendly!
B. C.
Christina was very helpful in helping us new patrons in choosing a beverage that we would like. Very friendly and her product knowledge was excellent. Her attitude is excellent and welcoming and exactly what a place needs!! Will keep coming back for this excellent service
D. M.
Absolutely fantastic variety of European Ales. Something to suit every one. Definitely more on the pricer side, but that's expected. Perfect for an after dinner drink. The darker Ales and the sweeter touch Krieks were outstanding. The food was also fantastic, huge props go the chefs!
6.
Always love the atmophere food and service here ...outside is buzzing with ppl...loved the mussels and belgian meatballs
r. t.
Great beer, great food. Staff could do with a bit of hospitality training. Service was not the best
B. G.
Hey to all the wonderful and fantastic staff of the Belgian Beer Cafe,
Firstly I want to say what an amazing place and the location is just superb, my experience there was so amazing that I have told most people I know to go there.
The staff was the sweetest and friendliest I have ever come across, I was all smiles from their vibrant personalities and just their kindness, It was a beautiful experience for me and my partner.
The food was to die for, and the atmosphere was so loving and sweet, I will recommend anyone to go here.
So thank you guys again for a wonderful time, I will be back in a heart beat xxxxxxx
Much love Brenda xxxxx
A. D.
Has a great time here with the staff. Really nice & friendly people.
It's just that my drinks tasted a little watered down.
G. K.
Great food and beers, food great value, beer a bit on the pricey side. Had the fish and chips, certainly not disappointed, very tasty and didn't scrimp on the portion size. Good selection of Belgian beers as you'd expect 😁 quite quiet on a Tuesday night, but pretty decent inside.
K. M.
Good environment and service. Delicious food and Belgian drinks. Only one problem that you need to wait a long time for the food and drink.
D. E.
I had an amazing evening with my friends. The beers are really good, the music and the staff. The food is so tasty, I couldn't even take a picture! As soon as I started, I couldn't stop. I might recommend pork or lamd they werr both yummy. There are vegan options too.
Thank you!
K. T.
If you like beers, that’s great. Cuz you will be like in a heaven here. If you don’t like beer, that’s fine. Cuz they do some good food here. The best onion ring I’ve ever try. The beef and pork belly were a bit too salty for me. But I guess it went well if you have a beer together.
J. M.
Our club recently paid a visit to this bustling Belgian style bistro. A lively fringe crowd mingled inside and out, while the dining area had a more subdued and spacious atmosphere. The wood panelled interior, though purely cosmetic, certainly transported me back to the inns and taverns of Europe.
Our party started with an assortment of cocktails and beers. The president of our society noted a touch of lipstick on his chalice of Stella Artois. No doubt an admirer from the bar. We ordered an array of traditional Belgian dishes and contemporary pub food. However, there was some confusion about who had already place their order and unfortunately our president was missed, resulting him having to approach the counter to make his request. This was the beginning of a series of errors and miscommunications with our dinner party. It should be noted that our visit was occurring during Adelaide’s bustling fringe time. The restaurant was clearly already overcapacity, so with that in mind they were certainly doing their best to stay on top of everything.
We received two plates of the fried brie, one of which was suspiciously hollow, perhaps a cheese leakage. A beer ordered on the QR code menu was actually sold out but was kindly replaced with a beer of same or greater value. The mains arrived next, kicking off the Great Steak Debacle of ’22. Three members of our club ordered steak dinners. Two ordered a topping of prawns - surf and turf if you will. However, only one steak with prawns arrived. A confused deliberation began, concerned with what cut of meat each had ordered. A suggestion of garlic prawn confused for pepper corn was made, further adding to the mystery. Eventually discourse turned to action and while the mystery was never truly solved a side of garlic prawns was ordered. Unfortunately, by the time those creamy shrimps arrived, the steak was cold… On a more positive note, the mussels were an absolute stand out with broth so good you could drink it by the glass!
While there was plenty of confusion the food and drink were well received. The overall experience was what I would describe as chaotic good. Had this not been during fringe time this restaurant may have scored 4 stars. However, I can only go off the experience of the night and award Belgian Beer Café 3.5 stars. Since google only allows whole star ratings, and Jacob Maher rounds down, this comes to 3 stars.
T. S.
Belgian, but not quite. Worth the experience just to get your hands on some good biers, if they have them in stock. The food is also good with healthy portions. It does get busy, and when it does, expect to wait a while for food.
Z. L.
The burger is yummy!!! The service is very good and friendly! I wish I would tip the waitress $50 but I am not that rich:((
I want to give another 5 stars review but I found I couldn't, so I am editing my previous review.
The service is so goodddddd. I tasted some sauce like wasabi in the burger and I told the stuff that I didn't taste this wasabi sauce before. And they serve me another burger without this sauce for free! 🥰🥰🥰
A. W.
Loved it, very nice indeed, beautiful, only thing missing was the mrs laying on her back on the table with me ice cream n strawberries
S. P.
A warm friendly relaxed informal atmosphere makes this a top place alone. The Belgian beer is a nice different taste but you can buy from a good selection of drinks. We chose to sit outside away from the live entertainment. Refer photo. The platter was an ample serve for two and it made a special early afternoon enjoyable experience for us. Recommend strongly.
J. H.
Fantastic atmosphere and skilled bartenders. Good food to compliment great drinks, from beer to cocktails.
R. V.
Great place to catch up with friends, have a meal or a few drinks outside. Nicely tucked away so is a little oasis in the east end.
D. A. C. P.
Excelelent service, the staff is super friendly food was incredible, very good place to meet friends for a beer.
N. P.
Here for a Fringe Show. Was very good.
Beer and snacks good.
Shame imported beers are so expensive but not venues fault.
B. E.
The Belgian Beer Cafe in Adelaide’s East End is a great place to enjoy a beer or two. With excellent outdoor seating for sunny afternoons and warm nights and their cosy interior makes for a perfect escape from the cold.
C. A.
This is a great place, with a warm and inviting environment that has great quality Beer and a great selection to choose from. Tucked away in a cosy little area behind Rundle street, you can't go wrong coming here for a cheeky beer or two or a lovely meal, a place I would always recommend visiting if you're new to Adelaide or a regular that likes to visit "historic" places within our city and feel some nostalgia whilst doing so. BBCO, I will be back again soon and next time for your famous hot chips in a cone alongside a delicious, cold stein of beer. Cheers 🍻
A. L.
If ever I have a Monday off, without fail, the Beer Cafe is where I'll be.
With the variety of imported beers, you won't be missing the local and crafty beers other pubs stock. I've been coming here for years mostly for the relaxed environment and mussels.
F. M.
Food ok. Toilets very smelly. Like their food ordering system using QR code system. Quick service nice outdoor setting.
J. D.
As Belgian, we were so glad to drink again our home gems !
This place will give you a really Belgian experience! Great beers, warm inside and a cool terrace!
Definitely expensive for a beer though! +/-15$
K. W.
Lively place great atmosphere. Good food and although busy good service and quite quick! Will go again for sure!
L. E.
Cool little bar in the middle of a food lovers area of Adelaide. So many vegetarian options, even though I love meat it was all really good food and worth the visit.
T. V.
I enjoyed a beer in a hot day, steak is ok, was asked for a rare and but it came out as cooked. It was disappointed. Next time I may try mussels in a pot, seems very popular here.
A. Y.
Great bar with a fantastic beer garden. Try the Blue Moon on tap, it comes with a slice of orange!
J. W.
$12 Lunch deal comes with a Stella Artois or soft drink. Super good deal. Fish and chips were served to use cold and the chips old. Ratatouille was perfect!
V. B.
Loved it, we will be going back again soon, 400grm Rump with prawns and garlic sauce-delicious and the Atlantic Salmon was perfect. Naughtily fabulous dessert waffles too.
W. C.
Good food and beer with reasonable price. Also the staff was really nice and polite
L. Z.
I love this place, try the mussels. They are amazing. The kriek cherry beer is also so delicious 😋
S. J.
Great food, staff, atmosphere and a awesome singing guitarist. What more could you want for a laid back Sunday lunch
J. J.
We had lunch there having the bratwurst sandwich and pork sandwich, accompanied by Belgian beer and cider. All were very nice and complements the meal. Service and location was great, and the people know their products very well.
T. F. S.
Nothing like a good ol Hoegaarden with sliders, Carbonade Flamande and Moules Frites! Tasty food, chilled vibes on a Sunday night. Would return! Check out the Video Review of this restaurant on my Youtube.
P. D.
We went on Saturday night, great mussels incredible staff
D. E. T.
Great location, Great food, and the staff were so helpful and accommodating, with beautiful personalities which made my time there a very memorable time, I would recommend The Belgian Beer Cafe to anyone,
Thanks heaps guys I will be back .
A. S.
Just amazing! Mussels to die for. Great atmosphere indeed!
G. L.
Lovely place with a nice terrace. We had lunch for $12 each (main+beer). All then included in the picture for just $24! (7 days a week from 12 to 3pm)
H. S.
Our favourite place to get together or informal meeting place for research group. Belgian beers quite different than Aussie beers; and serves in huge glass. Well organised indoor and outdoor sitting area. Should try either if you are from Adelaide or visiting here.
A. D.
This was about our third time eating here and once again did not disappoint, probably a little expensive but no more expensive than anywhere else really. The must have is the 1kg pot of mussels with the garlic and white wine broth, it was so good that we were drinking it from a water glass. My choice of beer is the piraat, full of flavour beer and very refreshing. Be warned that it does get pretty packed out on a Friday-saturday night in summer so definitely book ahead
A. J.
They've now adopted having QR Codes to make your order without going up to the counter and I am loving it, something more places should do so there's less waiting in line and more quality time with your friends
R. M.
Awesome food, beer selection and customer service!
D. R.
Mussels were great, schnitzel also looked good, beer's looked interesting all different sorts. When your out that way check them out for yourself.
M.
Great beers. Just don't drive their stuff is strong.
L. T.
Great food & service.
Wide range of Belgian beers
Good atmosphere outside on a sunny day 😊
Will be back
A. G.
Great food and service. Loved the Dutch meatball (pulled beef crochet). Everyone needs to eat outside once..what an atmosphere!

This this review is in response to the above reviews regarding the events on Saturday the 20th of November. The behaviour I witnessed was nothing short of animalistic! And these reviews do not reflect the service standard the BBC staff adhere to. Following the anti mask and vax protest my group and I dined at this establishment and witnessed nothing but repulsive behaviour towards staff members attempting to adhere to current government legislation. These staff members attempted to execute these standards in a calm and professional manner, only to be met with abuse, degradation and threats! I don't know who hurt you? but please channel your anger and find a creative outlet or see a psychologist because hurling threats and abuse at young service staff is not the correct way to behave on any occasion. Your stance is negated by the way you execute.
Kind regards
Annie
J. C.
Lovely place and great food and a good choice of different beer's
J. P.
Great selection of beer. Belgian beer is nothing like "regular" beer. Staff are friendly, meals are tasty.
E. F.
Great beer - pub meals are huge - very quick service for a busy fringe night
D. R.
Loved the mussels, beers looked good, soft drink plenty,
J. K.
Such a cute bar. Great belgian beers plus their late night cones (fries etc) are awesome. Also the beers come in massive glasses.
p. g.
very very busy, but staff did a great job and food came out reasonably quick
L. L.
The Belgian is the place to be for a variety of different beers. They always surprise me with new beers added to the menu. Great service and great music
M. p. t. “. A.
I tried to taste Belgian beer, it was nice.
Meals were very good for sharing.
T. C.
I've never liked beer, but when they ran out of cider, these guys introduced me to a cherry beer that's almost as good as cider!
The schnitty was pretty awesome too.
R. W.
Fantastic food and the service was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant for a great night out.
L. G.
Amazing venue. The venue manager Ben takes good care of all of their valued customers! We’ll be back very soon
m. s.
Great selection of monk beers, always a pleasure to stop by when in Adelaide for a cold one.
J. D.
Mussels, mayo on chips, good beer - what you'd expect, but better. Really good onion rings also.
C. S.
Excellent service great choice outdoor or indoor seating.
D. S.
Great environment to sit down outside and have a drink with some friends. The drinks menu was extensive and the cocktails were really good quality! The wait time for some of our drinks we a bit long but can’t complain because they were busy.
J. M.
Great beer and ambience. Happy and helpful staff.
I. M.
Lovely little off the beaten track bar. God vibes. Nice facilities.
N. N.
Ambience and food was amazing. And best customer attendance 😊 Highly recommend it
C. L.
Great food, fantastic atmosphere, best value for money.
T. G.
Amazing Service and Food , Lovely ambience and guys do call and book a table 💕
J. H.
Love the old school classy feel. It's quite comfortable inside and the selection of beers is pretty good. It might need a coat of paint, and when they organise it I hope they keep the feeling of the place. It would be a shame if they went all super futuristic or changed the decor in some other equally jarring way.
C. G.
Fantastic food and service with a smile - we’ll be back!
V. R.
Fantastic beer and food. Lovely service too!
E. D.
Good selection of food, and plethora of beers (for the budding drinker) Did not have a reservation but the staff were quick to accommodate. Good service.
S. B.
Great venue with amazing service! I visited last Friday night and the place was full of atmosphere!
Live music, European feel and fantastic beers on tap. I love the Leffe Brune!
The mussels were a great choice on a winters night also. As Arnold says ‘I’ll be back’ ;)
J. F.
Excellent muscles and beer, half price muscles on a Monday, they are excellent and served with fries, order some bread to soak up the juice at the bottom of the pot. Beer is excellent, I got the tasting board as pictured, my hot tip is the 2 leffe beers.
E. M.
I haven't been there since 2016 due to my own personal circumstances but every staff member was wonderful and I have spent at least 8 hours or more on each occasion. The service, the beer, the food were all fantastic.I hope they still have the burger and Stella Artois deal as that burger was so good I went and thanked the chefs and repeated a phrase to them that Neil Patrick Harris said in an episode of How I Met Your Mother after he believed he had eaten the best burger in his life.I won't repeat it here, look it up. Sorry took so long for the review but life gets in the way and I can't believe its been nearly 5 years since I've experienced your burger and your wonderful hospitality. Take care in this strange age we are living in.
T. S.
Good variety of beers, staff were a bit up themselves.
C. G.
The best Stellar beer i have ever tasted poured to perfection, the food is good this place has a holiday feel. We enjoyed
A. A. S.
I ordered a meal here which they mistakenly forgot about. They were very kind and to say sorry they gave me a free beer and onion rings. Great hospitality. Thank you!
J. H.
Awesome beer and food. Excellent service!
P. S.
Good food at a reasonable price, nice atmosphere, good service
K. W.
At there Belg there is always good vibes, lots of laughs and the staff are very friendly. Will definitely come back again soon.
A. S. (. f.
Great beer offerings (Westmalle Tripel!!) but food quality isn't great. Attracts the after-work-Friday type crowds. Can get rowdy, but it's a good atmosphere nonetheless. Has gotten a bit busier with Vardon ave offering a few joints to attract punters, so you get a bit of a wandering crowd down the lane.
D. S.
Great pub
Great selection of beers
Can't think of anything negative
H.
Great Belgian bar with some nice selection of Beers
L. v. d. L.
Great beer and SPICY marinated squid. Yum.
O. M. P.
We missed today our favourite Colombian bartender!!!! But...must say... Amazing customer service as always!!!!!
C. F.
Located near Rundle Mall. Just the right portions. Their mussels are my favourite
C. G. (.
I've been here twice in the last week and it has been my best experience foodwise in Adelaide thus far that wasn't a haute cuisine place. The range of Belgian (and Dutch) beers is excellent plus the burgers and mussels are just unpretentious and superb. I can recommend the bitterballen as well, it's the real deal.
C. V. Z.
Good beer. Good food. Nice music.
T. M. T. S.
Good place to sit and enjoy a drink and let the afternoon roll in
M. M.
Great beer, a great atmosphere, but disappointing food. Try out the beer paddle- there's a purple beer!
j.
There was a delay in getting our order however, a staff member named Ruby was amazing and sorted us out!! This place is lucky to have her!
e. s.
The food is impressive!! It's apparent that care has gone into the meals. All our meals were enjoyed! Waitresses are attentive and professional.
Glad to of found a great spot.
T. N.
Really good selection of European Beers, good food and always a busy and vibrant atmosphere.
M. N.
Fantastic atmosphere in trying times. Great food.
E. M.
The place has a great atmosphere and food and wines are great. Prices are very reasonable, food quality is awesome. Negative: after one hour we were kicked out of our table, the waitress simply said: "your booked time is over". We were not told in the beginning we only had one hour. It was not nice. But otherwise, the place is highly recommended.
F. A.
Nice beer, nice price. The ordering via mobile makes everything perfect.
R. C.
Great atmosphere, service and beer.
Unfortunately the food was just OK.
Rump steak had a lot of somewhere and was only warm. Mushroom sauce was very good. The salad was just lettuce, nothing else.
Disappointing
D. F.
Went for lunch with a group, food was 1st class, good service also. Lamb shoulder and the pots of muscles are all good choices.
J. A.
Super busy and great imported Belgian beers selection. They get quite expensive but are worth it. The food is good but for the price isn't worth it. Staff are very friendly
D. J. G.
had a nice dinner, what a great looking place
J. K.
great pub, great beer and atmosphere..prost..
A. B.
Great spot for afternoon beers. Great selection of beers and knowledgeable staff.
C. M.
Thanks to all the staff for greeting us for my son's birthday.

Great place good food recommend getting a pint of the blue moon
J. S.
Nice 👍 cold beer 🍻 on a hot 🔥 steamy 🍾 day 🤠
M. S.
Decent portion sizes, nice ambience.
L. F.
Great ambience, fantastic beer selections. Service level can be really inconsistent from one staff to another. Some of them are simply terrible upon providing service. But most of the staff are really friendly, welcoming, and professional.
R. R. V.
A place to go if you like Belgium beer or just beer :) they have a great selection of beers and other drinks, too. Most important: they have kwak beer with its original glass!!
M. V.
Great place, great beer and great food
J. P.
Insanely chaotic in terms of sound and crowds. Cherry beer is super interesting glade I at least went once.
H. g.
The ribs were so good. Definitely recommend!
A. Y.
Best nachos bowl in my life!!!!!!!!!!
It’s suitable for two people with beer 🍺
H. B.
Great muscles and beer. Service was also very good.
s. p.
Really nice venue. Good atmosphere. Good range of somewhat different beers reasonably priced. Meals were good value and quite a varied menu. Pork dish I had a little overcooked. Other dishes in our group were fine. Deserts were very tasty. Overall I'd go back.
J. C.
$14 for a pint... NOOOOOOOO. good location
R. E.
This place was one of only a few open over an Adelaide long weekend. We loved it and we're happy to pay a surcharge. I'm sorry but I don't understand the SA mindset. Long weekend, Fringe festival happening, thousands of people yet many pubs, bars and restaurants were closed. Dumb as.
J.
We recently went to the Beer Olympics. What a great idea! I'm not much of a beer drinker but there were some amazingly unique flavors to some of the craft beers.
The atmosphere at this place is lovely, and even when it's packed to max like it was this night, the restaurant was still a quieter place to enjoy the great food.
The staff were kept busy all night with so many customers, but our table waiters, Georgia and Sophie, did an amazing job and were really friendly. They made us feel so welcome.
Always have a good meal here, and we'll definitely be back.

The ambience of this well crafted Cafe is impressive. The level of service was really good and the food was very nice plus well priced. I didn't have a beer there but if it's beer you are after then you must try this place out. They have so many choices that it covers at least 8 pages of the drink menu.
I thoroughly recommend this Cafe.
D. N.
Nice place, late open and good coffee
h.
Loved the food and the wine and beer.
l.
Twice ive been here now and both times have been a 6 pm booking yet they have no muscles left. Totally dissapointing and won't be coming back to get let down a 3rd time.
C. T.
A but expensive, but they have an absolutely amazing selection of beers from around the world. Food is really good but they can be a bit slow when they get busy. I'd recommend trying the Belle-vue cherry beer, its amazing.
J. M.
Change alot very untidy bar area music to loud customer's trying to talk over the music, sad to see
A. S.
Wow! Food here is awesome. Have had steaks cooked beautifully and my partner's salmon done to perfection. They even cooked it rare like she asked! Great atmosphere especially during fringe, great food and a huge selection of drinks to choose from... Perfect!
K. E.
We go here frequently for the $10 lunch deal. Food service time is always hit and miss. About half the time its come out reasonably fast, the other half we have had to wait a long time. Now I send a pic of the menu to my hubby and he picks what he wants and I order before he leaves work to make sure he has to time to get it and eat in his hour lunch break. Quality is always good though
k. k.
A solid 4stars. Excellent happy hour prices and deals. $20 for a better than average burger with a beer. Not bad!
So what did I have?
The burger of the month, the Mexican Burger.
Massive piece of cheese, Good sized burger. Super saucey.
Not sure that’s a word.
Staff are lovely-
And it’s great to go to a place where it’s cool on a hot day.
Recommend this spot.
M. J. (.
Excellent location in city, good place for party.
R. F.
If you like to try different beers, this a place for your palate. Not just Belgian beer, local craft beers as well. Not cheap.
Meals are delicious
R. C.
Love the Leffe Brune beer
It was sad to hear that CUB are going to stop importing it which is very disappointing
L. A.
Awesome atmosphere, best beer in the heart of Adelaide
A. A.
Best beer cafe in Adelaide, try their cherry beer, it’s very tasty
R. H.
Great food and cute atmosphere xxx
T. D.
This was a lovely place with very pleasant outdoor seating. We had fish and chips which were fine but the mussels looked very good. The beer selection was a little limited but I can see that they only wanted to offer authentic beers for authenticity. I'll probably go back here for mussels in a few days.
S. W.
A bit expensive but great cocktails..great setting outside
M. L.
Wonderful beer selections, staff who actually have a good understanding of the beer they have on tap and can give decent recommendations. Food was delicious, steak was cooked perfectly, though it took quite a while to come out, albeit this was during the fringe and they were almost at capacity so the wait was understandable and worth it.
J. X. L.
A reasonably good place for functions. Service is good and food is fine.
s. r.
Great location in the city for a cheeky schooner and great vibes. Staff are super friendly and have an awesome range of food and drinks
A. B.
Went for a work Christmas function to the upstairs dining area where we tried out their new Christmas menu. The food was excellent quality and served on platters rather than individual plates. With the horderves, entrees, main and desserts, there was an elegant sufficiently of food which was served in a timely and friendly manner by great staff.
S. P.
What nice environment where you can enjoy a beer.
A. M.
The venue is very reflective of the traditional Belgium style. The way they have embraced the traditional building design and the theatre of pouring the beers is great to watch.
You can't go past the half price 1kg of mussels on Mondays. And for the hungry eater, the pork knuckle is amazing.
J. D.
Just like it's always been. Quieter on a Tuesday mid afternoon, but great beers to be had
n. s.
Different kind of beers. Tastes bloddy awesome
y. s.
Always love the premium beers from this place
M. “.
I hadn't visited the Belgian in years and was very pleasantly surprised to see the updated outdoor area. We had a great lunch here on the weekend - the food was excellent, the wine delicious and well priced and it was just a nice place to hang out under an outdoor heater! Thanks for a great experience.
A. D.
Fantastic beer, service and doggos friendly to boot. Amazing lunch menu. $<👍
m. l.
1st time eating here, pretty good! Go the pie you won't be disappointed
J. F.
We came here for a quick drink before a fringe show.
It has a great atmosphere and the staff were all really friendly. We didn't eat here but the food all looked really good especially the muscles! If you're looking for a real bar down rundle st area, thus is your place.
B. “. M.
I've always loved coming here over the years. I miss being able to drink many of the beers, and would love them to support a few top quality GF options. But it's a great venue to hang out, chat, and relax. I've been at events upstairs, eaten in the restaurant, and bent the elbow in the main bar area. All good.
b. l.
Great food and fine beers
Y. G.
If you’re looking for a quick but fancy lunch look no further! I copped one of the best Schnitzels I’ve ever had for only 12 buckaroonies with a Stella!
Stunned! Amazed! Wow’d!
The service was so warming and you can tell the staff here really love what they do. I was served by a young lass named Mel, would never have known it was only her second shift if she hadn’t mentioned it.
I wish I could give 10 stars. Great work guys!
R. L.
Stopped by for a drink mid shopping and got a couple of beers and glass of wine with my family. Asked if I could purchase a glass of milk for my nephew and was given a big glass of milk on the house. Excellent service. Especially considering some cafe's will charge $2-$3 for a babycino with only a tiny bit of milk. Thank you 👌👍
O. M. (.
Had dinner there last night, food was good, waiting staff were good too. One issue, having live entertainment and normal sound system competing at the same time not so good.
C. L. R.
Great location and great for beer selection but food was pretty average. I had the vegetarian ratatouille which was pretty much just zucchini in tinned tomato sauce. My partner said his schnitty was good though so giving it a 4.
A. G.
Good meal but experience slightly spoiled by a very unhelpful waitress. Rest of staff made up for it!
L. P.
Really yummy beers and hotdogs!
b. k.
Nice atmosphere and good beer. Lovely service team. The live music performance was excellent!!
P. P.
Saturday afternoon, the bartender was helpful. The big burger was very tasty and the dark Leffe very good. These imported ales and beers can be quite pricey though so expect that. It was an enjoyable weekend lunch.
T. M.
Terrific surrounds for enjoying the end of week wind down. Indoor and outside
seating. Good selection of bottled and on tap brews.
Have some hot chips or a snack at your table and enjoy the company of friends over a cold drink. Great spot for inner city relaxing.
A. B.
Very nice atmosphere , friendly staff although sometimes quite busy. The bar menu has some good options, and they have a wide range of local and imported beers. The restaurant also serves good quality tasty food. They have a customer loyalty program that seems quite generous.
G. I.
What an amazing place! Lovely atmosphere, quality beers and awesome mussels, which is a must try!
E. “. H.
It's a nice chill place that will take you in Belgium for a bit, with a wide choice of excellent beers, from Belgian ales to strong triples. The atmosphere is lively and the staff is friendly, but I found that even if the beers are imported from the other side of the planet, they are a bit pricy.
F. A. L.
Wonderful dining experience. We had a wonderful waiter named Dylan who really made the night helpful lots of knowledge of food and beer. Lovely atmosphere not loud . Great old world kind of feel. Value for money . Can watch the chefs work . They were pumping meals out they also did the place proud . Mussels were out of this world , bread so yum ! Defi going back
A. P.
Usually a fan of this East end institution but was really disappointed with the food on Sunday night - two of us asked for the bun bowl one with tofu (only vegan option), one with pork and a chicken parmi. The bun bowl was really not good (cold, lacked flavour, looked like a supermarket salad) and I would suggest it get taken off the menu. The parmi was reportedly average and the chips were undercooked and lacked salt.
Only leaving a review because I used to love the food here and I'd be keen to come back if standards pick back up.
R. S.
Has a wide selection of quality beers, catering for all. Has a fantastic layout, with outside garden setting or indoors, as well as balcony. For thosewith an interest in sports this is an ideal venue to watch on large screens with a fantastic atmosphere. Meals and wine are also great and service has always been consistently outstanding.
g.
Belgian beer cafe, staff very helpful. Time for a change of the taps or some new ones though as Australia offers some of the best varieties around. Alas there was only one an Easter chocolate beer and it was amazing.
M.
This review is based on lunch leading up to Xmas. Had a team end of year Xmas lunch here and the staff were great. We had the la carte menu and they didn't forced us to pre-order so we didn't have to predict what we wanted days or weeks in advanced. Most of the people had the lunch special that came with a beer which was good value but the food was average. Probably due to the sheer volume of people having their lunch party for the average quality food. This place is good but the menu hasnt changed much over the years. The beers are quite expensive but they are good beers. The other bonus is that they offer split bills of you require that.
S. E.
Great atmosphere and really good selection of beers
A. D. S.
Great beers. Awesome food. Friendly staff. Always great popping in for a beer and the kilo pot of mussels. Great variety of flavours to choose from. 1/2 price on Monday’s also! 👌🏼
M. B.
A large range of beers available at the top end price range. Had the nitro expresso martini stout. Nice to try and was well crafted.
I. M.
Wandering around Adelaide as a tourist is fun, and then you turn a corner and find the Belgian... It was off peak and very relaxing to sit back on the couches trying out a few beers. Staff were friendly. Frites were top notch too 👍🏼
L. P.
Great beer and nice service
M. T.
A fantastic little beer cafe with craft beers which had a great taste. There is very nice function room up stairs for small gathering of friends to get together.
R. B.
The Belgian Beer Cafe gives you a welcoming embrace with attentive staff, delish comfort food & interesting but not over bearing decor.. a perfect setting for cold winters night with a intimate, cosy and warm atmosphere.
We lacked a little inspiration for vegetarian options but the friendly staff where more then accommodating & suggested menu items.
A. B.
Food is amazing, atmosphere is great and the service is excellent. I had food intolerances, but a quick call the day before and I was completely catered for. I don't drink beer, but the people with me who did, thought the range was excellent. Great place for a casual get together.
A. O.
Excellent place for a good beer and burger
S. S.
These guys get busy so expect a delay in your orders. Also make sure if you order chips etc as an entree that you let them know you want them first or you may get them with the main as a side. Either way the food is good. Be adventurous here order something you don't usually get and you'll be surprised with a great standard of food.
P. H.
Great atmosphere, nice beer, back next time for the food.
K. L.
Food OK! Certainly could be better... not that busy but took ages to get food... had a good atmosphere and looked good but Certainly need to step up service
L. E.
First visit the bottle of table water tasted like seafood and had frothy bubbles in it. They replaced the bottle but not my glass so had to grab one myself. Second visit was next day, meals took about 1 hour to arrive and of the 4 meals ordered 2 were almost cold, if I say they were luke warm I am being generous. Disappointed
R. M.
Really nice food, lovely service despite the fact they were busy, and amazing beer selection. Definitely try the imported beers, there's something for everyone. Staff were very knowledgeable also, a great help in picking out what to try.
R. T.
Great location and beer choices.
As a born and bred Belgian I loved there mussels and chips. Very dissapointed in the waffle. I'd been looking forward to it. It does not represent Belgian waffles in the slightest.
S. O.
Great place for food. Great cocktails
M. T.
I love this joint! The staff are all so amazing, fast paced and professional. The drinks are just sublime. Awesome vibes and an overall lovely chill out spot in Adelaide. Would recommend 11/10. Wowza 🤘❤
K. R.
We had a nice meal here. The meal took about 3/4 hour to come out, but to be fair it was very busy. Belgian beers are very nice if a bit pricey.
K. B.
Nice staff, good beers and actually a good price for Australia.. once ordered some belgian beers online and payed the same as in the Belgian beer cafe
C.
Always a great time
a. r.
Very interesting place
A. S.
Great beer, atmosphere and food. Would be 5 star but for the variable service which can be awesome or awful.
P. J.
So many beers to try and great staff to guide you! Atmosphere is good, especially if you get an outdoor table.
L. C.
Loved the food and atmosphere! Would definitely recommend! Coctails were awesome too
J. E.
Nice and busy!
J. G.
Good beer and good food.
C. N.
European beers on tap and a bustling outdoor area!
J. S.
Tasty beer and delicious Fettucini Marinara!
S. C.
Delicious food and drinks, placed in the a perfect location, definitely recommend it for a lunch or early dinner, since I personally haven't had dinner there yet. Probably not "Family" friendly, since the area isn't catered for children. Overall the BBC is an awesome place, definitely recommend it!
J. F.
Good selection of well cooked and presented pub grub and some lovely wines, as well as ALL the beer! Service was a bit underwhelming. ...we had to keep finding wait staff for things like salt and pepper / drinks / coffee.
S. D.
Awesome bar, a lovely range of beers and great service.
J. L.
Unfortunately food was very average. Order was wrong and when arrived well after everyone else got their food it was cold and quite bland.
Great selection of beers if that’s your thing though.
g. k.
very nice establishment. there is a huge selection beer some of which is quite rare in little old Adelaide. can get very busy and crowded on a weekend and the beer is quite expensive but you get what u pay for. last time i went they were so worried about their precious large hoegaarden glases u had to leave ur id as a deposit. whivh was annoying
D. S.
Staff here are very knowledgable and beers are awesome. I'd recommend trying the Blonde!!! We thoroughly enjoyed a couple of mixed plate platters last night, and went back again today to enjoy a couple more of their beers.
A. C.
Great little place for a drink on Easter weekend, good beers on tap as well as extensive selection of bottled imports, just back from the main street. Only food we tried was the onion rings which were good, staff were nice, all in good spot
C. S.
Go for half price mussles in Monday nights! I had the puttanesca broth. One of the best meals I've ever had. Great atmosphere and really friendly staff. I thought that the beer was a bit over priced, though... So I just had the one... Maybe.
J. M.
Busy little bar, just off the main road. The food was tasty, although portion size was on the small side. Bar was packed as was the restaurant side, so very popular. As it was busy, there was a bit of a wait for drinks but the food was served quickly.
E. K.
A very happening place, even when quite. Half price mussels on monday night where amazing, friendly staff, great beer selection. Beer prices are a bit steep but top shelf quality and service.
R. R.
Wouldnt recommend function here as ours had lots of faults. But for dining, Good service and great beer selection. Food consistently good, average pricing. Good for social catchup if you're not in a huge hurry.
A. S.
Great beer, atmosphere and food. Would be 5 star but for the variable service which can be awesome or awful.
I. A. C.
The place has a pleasant atmosphere from what I have seen on the inside, upstairs is where I was to see one of the Fringe Fest shows and that was pretty comfortable.
S. M.
Always a great place to pop into for a beer and a meal, great selection of traditional recipes.
G. N.
Wonderful beer, lovely food with great friendly staff.
Very well managed and Covid-19 sensible
W. B. V.
Awesome staff and service! Food was absolutely delicious! Recommended
L. C.
Half price mussel Mondays are the best with peach beer
B. t. B.
Fantastic dining service. Fabulous food. Just wish there was more Belgium cuisine on the menu. Will be back again!!
C. H.
Yes, I had a beer here🙂
E.
Busy but nice place.
P. M.
Love this place. Meals look fantastic, though we have never eaten there. Bar prices very good. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Highly recommend
D. J.
Very impressed with the food and service, considering how busy it was and all the current restrictions in place. They did a fantastic job accommodating all the necessary requirements.
C.
Very good service, especially considering it was the opening night of the fringe. Additional tables and security were set up and extra staff everywhere. Food was still relatively quick coming out and was fresh and delicious. Well worth the visit.
c. t.
Going to the Belgian Beer Cafe is like having a big hug from a beloved aunt or a beloved granny. I love it there! Solid quality of service.
B. S.
Great service. Great food and drink.
Coming back again real soon.
R. M.
What a top pub. Great place. Great meals and Great atmosphere. Had our work christmas party at the Belgian. Throughly recommended.
A. L.
Whats to say, fantastic food tick, fantastic beer tick, fabulous staff tick. Great place for just a drink or a meal.
A. L.
Good chips and beer. Can be a bit pricy but you get what you pay for.
A. Z.
My really favourite one. Delicious food and lovely beer. For 20$ you can taste 6 sorts of Belgian beer and I still can't pick one as they all are good.
L. B.
Beautiful restaurant in the hart or Adelaide CBD with exellent food and best Belgium beer selection
P. J.
So many beers to try and great staff to guide you! Atmosphere is good, especially if you get an outdoor table.
K. T.
Great bar, we didnt eat we were there to see the Fringe show. Awesome comedian Lindsay Webb.
H.
Reminded me of a super cool cafe in Europe.
S. O.
Great place to come if you love your European beer. The food is excellent and I highly recommend trying the Braised Beef Cheek. Deliciously tender cooked to perfection.
J. 1.
Awesome place. I love the Belgium Beer here which you don't see anywhere else. Good mix in indoor and outdoor seating options. Food menu looks great, but I haven't tried it yet.
J. B.
Was at the belgian for Grand Final day this year and found the service very satisfying. Comfortable setting to watch the game and the deal for beers from siren to siren was great!
Thanks again would recommend!
E. P.
We held my husband 50th in the forbidden room upstairs it was great, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and everyone had a great time.
P. K.
Not A fan of what they've done with the exteriors of the store over the years, but the place to be for fans of draft beer.
S. S.
Good beer, quite expensive
A. S.
The food and beer were great. Plus the staff were wonderful. Nice place to have a small group get - together. You can hear each other easily.
N. S.
Go for the half price muscles on Monday’s!
J. S.
It's a great place to dine
M. S.
Truly amazing Belgian beer selection.
Unfortunately quite a rude waitress kicked us off our seats on a table that wasn't reserved for a few hours, and told us to go outside even though it was 40°C.
O. M.
Really enjoyed their lunchtime special. I had a great cheeseburger and a beer for only $12.
Staff were friendly and the bar was pretty nice inside.
A. C.
I don’t drink beer but the wine, company, food, staff and atmosphere were fab. I’d go back. They were also able to cater for my vegan friends, wine we selected was vegan friendly too.
G. M.
Head there on a Monday. It's the only thriving place in Adelaide. Cant go wrong with half price mussels on Mondays. Decent steaks and burger/beer combos.
M. M.
The service was reasonable, drink pricing fair and food was nice.
Only negative comment would be- For a beer cafe, some of the beers on tap are pretty average and also quite date.
How about some decebt craft beers! E.g. something brewed in adelaide(pirate life, prancing pony etc)
S. E.
Having a bevy, great atmosphere
Visited again on 6/12/19 we had the cherry beer, chicken burger and fish and chips. Awesome again guys👍🏻
B.
Good service and an impressive selection of drinks. If you're looking for a nice quiet place to grab a drink with your fellow Uni students some afternoon, or somewhere to enjoy your Saturday night I would suggest here.
B. H.
Always great. With good weather the outside areas are a perfect place to soak up the east end vibe over great beer.
T.
Food was ok but nothing special. Tap beer was $17.5 per 500ml and it was about 2 mouthfuls below the line. Also, no coaster. Overall not terrible. Just overpriced.
A. M.
Great place with a goood selection of beer. The fish lunch was just ok and not too fresh but may have been that the fish didn suit me. They have a good outdoor area for conversations cause the music inside cud get a bit loud
K. T.
Amazing food, amazing staff and even better beer choice, would come back in a heart beat
A. G.
Long time fav place for the wide selection of drinks, friendly atmosphere including live music, location and food!
J. G.
Had a nice beer and ribs. Service was good and the atmosphere was great.
J. B.
This place never fails, great beer, both imported and a few locals. Great location, friendly atmosphere and the staff are great.
P. S.
Excellent selection of beers both Belgian and otherwise as well as very good food in in both the restaurant and over the bar.
Great specials and offers though not the cheapest place in the world, very good however.
P. S.
Casual feel, with a range of bier for ever taste and pocket.
K. E.
Lovely lunch but need more tables outside for smokers....but good to see your trying to cater for us....
T. G.
Cool place which seemed to be busy every time we went past it. They serve the very delicious Leffe Blonde and Brune on tap! Will be going back next time I'm in Adelaide
P. B.
Great atmosphere. Reasonably priced drinks. Good food and Sunday afternoon live music. What's not to love!
A. B.
Terrific pub huge serves of food and drink 10/10 Top service also
1.
Good food and awesome beer menu! The staff were ultra friendly and helpful!
R. S.
Everything about this place works. Kitsch rustic Euro inspired decor that smacks of a German beer hall with a wide variety of European imports on tap with Belgian Blondes, German whitbier and other delights that I failed to remember due to acute memory loss.
It's a great place to start your night, and if you're not careful, a place to prematurely end your night when you forget that 5% alcohol content is considered low in some parts of Europe.
Ask for a Belgian Abbey beer... maybe a blonde and realize that Australian swill is not even worthy of the name.
BOTTOMS UP!!!
T. H.
quick stop to get some Belgium beer in us. missed lunch but staff organised some frit (chips) and onion rings.
j. j.
Great ambience, amazing beer. They have some good choices but you need to spend much more than regular bars. But it's worth it.
T. F. D.
The Belgium Beer Cafe is the place I go to when I take a trip to Adelaide, the service of the people behind the bar is really good, they really know their beer which is fantastic to know. The selection of beer to choose from is very extensive, so many choices it is definitly hard to choose which one to have when I visit the place.
Overall the seating arrangement is great and the food service was prompt, but the only complaint I have is the pricing, but that is something we all need to take into consideration when paying for boutique beer.
I highly recomend this awesome place, but make sure you have the money to do so. Overall The Belgium Beer Cafe is a really cool place to have a beer with your friends and on the rare occasion to meet new friends in the easy going and friendly atmosphere.
If you want to show off a really cool beer to your friends, show them the Kwak, the glass of that one is really cool. The beer i highly recommend is the Leffe Radieuse which is a very nice beer.
T.
Food is good but it takes a very long time to get to you. Service is lacking.
Always good to get a snarl when you order.
D. W.
I don't come here as much as I used to - mainly because there's not much they have I haven't tried. Good range of Belgian beers, most rather commercialised.
Food menu has changed, unfortunately nowhere near as interesting as iyt used to be...
R. C.
Awesome range of beers, most of our meals were great except mine. I ordered the sliders and for $18 You dont get a lot.
J. M.
Fantastic table service, huge range of beers, food was excellent and prepared fast. Great spot and very reasonable prices 😁
J. C. S.
Getting food was slow even though we booked for approximately 20 people so they should have been more prepared.
D. V.
Nice beer selection. The cherry one is so yummy
T.
Their deserts are better than St Louis and San Churos, and they're not even a desert restaurant. Recommend the Bee sting waffles they are wicked!
J. G.
Great beers, always something new to try. Careful though, as these belgian beers have some strength to them that can get away f from you. Good service
M. D. B.
Good food, poor prices however. $35 for mussels... I don't think so. Awesome range of beers might make things a bit more palatable...
R. B.
Great place for a chilled out drink, really good selection, excellent live music courtesy of Jake Daulby.
S.
Absolutely fantastic. Food amazing, great drink and food choices especially for a vegoid and best of all, greatest vegan lasagne EVER. Will definitely be back. Service great too.
D. G. F. M.
We just remembered eating in this restaurant in 2008, almost 9 years later and we still remember the wonderful friets, majoinnaise and Karmeliet Triple beer. I am Dutch and I know my friets but this place beats the Vlamisch and Dutch. This restaurant is worth flying to Australia.
S. O.
Great feed and drinks had a big group and all had a great night
J. T.
Good beer selection but the place lacked the atmosphere that it had a few years ago - probably as you have a number of funky bars to choose from around it.
A. W.
Excellent authentic Belgian food and beer
Encore- visited again tonight and didn't disappoint. Excellent Belgian food and beer.. recommended
W. “. T.
Great place to take a date, I love going here the atmosphere is awesome, I love it here and the food is awesome, I bought the seafood chowder and it tasted exactly how I hoped it would..... Delicious!! 5 stars
D. W.
Great to have a (relatively) covid free beer and great feed.
N. R. A.
We'te from Belgium ourselves and it's a great place! Resembles our typical brown cafés. Only difference with Belgium are the prices, but it's a long way to ship beers ofcourse.. Tapped like it is done in Belgium!
N. N.
Good beer n food
P. M.
Good selection of Belgian beers. Not cheap. Well worth joining their club as you get free drinks fairly often that way.
J. S.
Good atmosphere, but I find the beer pricing a bit too high. you get better pricing in other beer gardens around town
A. G.
If you are a sucker for Belgian beer served right in a convivial atmosphere, and I am, this Central Adelaide hotspot is the place to go. Central to the Ebenezer place car free East end experience
A. K.
Dropped in today for a couple of glasses of Moet. Couldn't buy by the glass anymore. Explained that the reason we like Moet is because its vegan friendly. The young woman behind the bar could have just said' oh what a pity!" but instead took out the bottles of bubbly that they did sell by the glass and then googled them on her phone. As fate would have it "The Lane" was vegan. As she was pouring these she advised that their kitchen provides a vegan pasta and vegan chips (which we purchased) THAT'S SERVICE. Well done Taylor.
J. W.
fabulous!
Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great atmosphere and the cherry beer is a must 😁
N. D.
I think his name was Guy but a great bar tender and picked one of my favourite beers for me right off the bat. Great place!
J. L.
Lunch menu has some $12 options, but limited to bar dining and portions on the small and rough side. Definitely not on part of the original Belgian Beer Cafe in Sydney
N. X.
Good food, loved the muscles and the duck. Great service, cold beer. Staff are helpful and even helped us pronounce the beers! Great job guys.
M. L.
Absolutely loved it at the Belgium last night. The live music was amazing and I can't wait to come back and see them again.
P. H.
Nice place for a beer or pub grub
M. O.
Great beers and great service
C. H.
The only reason I didn't give this place 4-5 stars is because of a public holiday surcharge. Friendly staff and a good and unique beer selection make for a good venue.
M. H.
Cheap yet delicious steak, with a great Stella beer, if you choose your night wisely. As a visitor to Adelaide I enjoyed it.
O. T.
It's busy and vibrant, beer was flat and warm but change it when I asked.great atmosphere.
J. E.
Fab range of beers and also great range of spirits. Staff friendly despite being super busy on a Frnight during the Fringe. GreatJob! 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
K. G.
A must place to have a meal and a beer. Fantastic atmosphere with in and outdoor facilities. Food is great, wide variety for the whole family.
S. W.
We had a great lunch. The Pork Belly was amazing. The staff very accommodating in every way. 🍷
J. E.
Had the lunch special, found it enjoyable and good value. $6 Stellas good too. Mussles looked great, maybe next time.
L. C.
Loved the food and atmosphere! Would definitely recommend! Coctails were awesome too
t. s.
Quite busy but good beer and atmosphere
I. H. C. O.
great blue moon beer
R. S.
Great atmosphere, live music, good outdoor seating (also had heaters for a cold evening) - good beer selection

Great bar and venue. Saw a comedy show in the upstairs area and it was excellent! Didn't have anything to eat, but the food I did see looked impressive.

Good food with some very reasonable steak options (read no mortgage required). Mussels are spectacular, and of course a large range of beer and wine options

Hoegaarden on tap, enough said.
Good beer choices on tap and food OK, nice outside space to relax and drink good beer.
