Must visit destination. Dominique is a very friendly, knowledgeable host. Amazing range of French and South American wines + more Very very good cocktails. Whiskey sour 5 stars. Food is brilliant. Must have the creme brulee with a glass of Mistell. Went every night I was in Adelaide, at least for a drink. Will not disappoint.

My partner and I went to this bar a few weeks back, this place has the perfect atmosphere, great staff and you can taste the quality of drinks they are exceptional and passionate at their craft. Not to miss that the food nicely compliments the drinks. I've travelled through Paris, Annecy, Nice and Monte Carlo for a month and definitely felt like I've travelled back to France. Keep up the great work guys, I will be definitely recommending La Buvette to others. Merci for the great night !

Our usual go to in the afternoon/evening for a decent cocktail or wine and some nibbles. The creme brulee at this joint is always perfect, and their cheese platter is always lovely. Music can be bit loud and overbearing towards the evening, but that can be expected for a bar.

What a fantastic watering hole in town! Amazing french cuisine and a good selection of French alcoholic beverage. The bartenders are friendly and spot-on and, the decor is romantic! An absolute must visit!

Magnificent! This place is called the Matinal during the day, and their French onion soup is so incredibly flavoursome (with gruyere cheese bake and soaked croutons)! Pair with a French martini to keep with the theme, and you're on a winner. Great service. Great atmosphere! Tasteful appropriate music! Open very earlier to late, except Sunday.

If you want to be classy, romantic, and sophisticated, come here for sure! The wines and the food are absolutely amazing, and any company you bring will always be suitably impressed!! There are not many places in Adelaide I can say as much good things about as this hidden delight!

Absolutely loved the subdued cosy ambience of this bar. A great venue to catch up with Francophile friends - especially before the wave of locals arrive around 9pm. The goat cheese tarts were divine - I highly recommend them. The staff were friendly and attentive and keen to explain interesting features of the menu. Looking forward to going back.

Really enjoyed my time at this off the main drag drinkers. Wine list was really good with a selection of natural and more traditional wines from the local area, of course they had the French wines covered too. The menu of traditional French plates some small and some larger was also excellent. A must visit.

Great ambiance, great selection of wines by glass on the board and plates to share ( fromage/charcuterie board and the chef tartlets). Cocktails - try a serious brazilian caipirinha with the best cachaça, lime, sugar and ice (no mint and soda water) - just as it should be).

Awesome cocktails and the aperitifs are legendary. Get the French spritz aperitif and the Charlie Chaplin as they are two of the best drinks I have had in Adelaide. The waiters are extremely helpful too so ask for advice if you're not sure.

So fortunate to discover this delightful French enclave on our only night in Adelaide. The food was exquisite; attentive service-all of our individual requests met with a smile. A lovely reminder of the small bistros all over France during these restrictive times.

So charming! Lovely bar offering a good selection of drinks and tasty snacks. My friend and I ordered the croquettes, and bread with butter to share. The latter may sound bland, but we trusted it would be executed well here of all places, and it was exquisite. Staff are incredibly polite and I just love hearing their French accents.

Having just returned from living in the UK, I was happily surprised by this hidden gem. The atmosphere was pumping but not overbearing, the long wait time at the bar was because of the care the bar tenders took with each cocktail and the music was subtle but topped of the ambiance The wine menu was delicious and the scotch offering was sublime. I am very much looking forward to returning to this place.

Great bar, probably my favourite in Adelaide. Huge selection of natural wine, sourced locally and overseas. Most of the staff is french which create a unique atmosphere. DJs spinning records on Fridays and Saturdays. A must go!
