Service was great initially, the waitress accidentally dropped a croquette off the dish. She offered to replace the item or deduct it from the bill. Though the food tasted well the waitress also realised her explanation regarding the octopus tail was not clear enough. We were told it was a grilled octopus on a pumpkin purée. When it arrived the Verdé on top contained coriander and the octopus contained cumin. If we had known this we would not have ordered the dish due to allergies. They were very apologetic and removed the item from the bill which was appreciated and something restaurant staff don’t do usually and can come across quite rude. The service was of a high standard and I recommend this restaurant when in Adelaide for wine and tapas. The serving sizes is generous for 2 people. I would return on my next visit to SA.

Came here for a leaving/ thank you dinner for 12 and they were very accommodating with the banquet menus + opting dietary alternatives. The food itself was spectacular with interesting flavours and fresh produce - highlights would be the veg (charred broccolini, asparagus in romesco sauce) and deer (so palatable!). Also open on Sundays! Would highly recommend

We dined recently and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff were very helpful and explained the menu in detail, which we found accurate upon presentation of the dishes we ordered. The Ministry of the Clouds Grenache paired perfectly. We would definitely go back the next time we visit Adelaide.

right from the start the staff were relaxed and friendly and even though we booked an outside table, accommodated us inside as it was cold. They made recommendations re the food and we had 6 dishes between 3 of us which was just enough. the food was great and nice service all night ( a good mix between leaving us alone and not over the top). Hands down amazing. La Ramblas did not disappoint! We opted for the banquet menu which was fantastic value and we got to try a lot of dishes. Came here for Dinner with partner on Sat night. Waitress was very helpful in seating us even without reservation, the staff are very cheerfull and service is great. Tapas place so plates are to share, having said that portions are small (chicken croquettes $15). Best food on the menu is the Braised lamb ($18) They have a great collection of drinks, do look out for the specials menu put on the wall.

It's hard to fault this place. We arrived early and were warmly welcomed by Natalie and Paige, sat at the bar and was served awesome sangria & cocktails, which set the tone for a rockin evening. We chose the feed me menu and just let chef do his thing. The food was fantastic, portions were generous and each dish packed with flavour. One thing that really stood out was the presentation. Normally tapas is just slammed into bowls with not much love, but here every plate was beautifully plated. Stand out dishes were the Croquetteas, Morcillas and Jabali con Salsa Verde.

Magnificent food and superb customer service. I celebrated my birthday this week with dinner here along with some friends and they were really attentive, flexible and with excellent manners. Not to say about the food. I’m from Spain and this is one of the few places in Adelaide (probably the best one) where the food presented is truly authentic. Do not leave without trying some charcuterie, filete with blue cheese, tuna, croquetas de bacalao, mushrooms and asparagus. I didn’t have room to go for desserts but I would have loved to! Specially recommended for people with food intolerances, allergies, vegan or vegetarian as there’s plenty of choices to make them happy. Will definitely come back.

Best cocktail in Adelaide ! Foods are pretty good too.

I think this place is overrated. Most of the dishes we had were sitting in a pool of oil and half of the dishes were just not worth ordering. The grilled squid which was my least favourite dish was so salty it was offensive (mind you being an asian with low-blood pressure I have a savoury palate and add salt to most dishes). The squid itself had too much salt and the sauce was also very heavy handed with salt and tasted very soy-bean-paste like. There were also pieces of squid that were overgrilled and burnt which made them bitter and inedible. The prawn dish was just disappointing as they were tiny, overcooked and not very tasty. The 3 dishes that were just so-so were the black sausage, steak with blue cheese and broccolini with almonds. The black sausage could've been grilled more and didn't taste the freshest; the steak was.. OK. There's definitely better steaks out there, but this was cooked well and still pink in the middle. It was probably a mistake on our part to order steak in a 'non-steak' restaurant. The brocollini sat on top of a very delicious sauce and topped with nicely toasted almonds, but was doused with too much oil. On the bright side, the smoked cod croquettes were actually better than the ones we've had in Spain and the seared tuna dish was as good as ones served in a Japanese restaurant. There was enough sear on the fish and the taste of the sauce complemented the tuna really well. The mushroom dish was our favourite although it was also sitting in a pool of oil. It was very flavoursome and was sauteed to the right level of doneness. Service could also be better - though they did put the 2 dishes they've forgotten FOC, we waited at least half an hour before the dishes finally arrived. One other waitress also kept asking if we were done; it was obvious she wasn't told about the 2 dishes we were still waiting on. I also wondered why the first waitress didn't use a notepad when she took our long order in the first place. As more guests started coming in, they started to crowd at the front door near where we sat which became quite uncomfortable as there was very little social distancing. Overall I don't think we'll be back anytime soon. On one hand, it's probably our fault to not have ordered their jamon and manchego as that would be their specialty, on the other hand there's definitely better chaturie/tapas places in Adelaide with better food and atmosphere. 3 stars.

I had the most fantastic tapas here! Great wine and a good selection of tapas (many were more like raciones for the aficionados) It's not the cheap small plates you expect in Spain but it is very close to it. Great local wine that you can buy from the bottle and take home what you don't drink.

Looking a great tapas bar? Look no further. This is it. The chorizo cooked with garlic in olive oil is my personal favorite. Also had the jamon serano, anchovies in citrus olive oil and morcillas (black sausage). All of which were awesome. Top it all of with a great Spanish beer...

Fantastic tapas range very tasty. Great range of cocktails and Sangria. Staff downstairs where friendly and efficient. During our meal Friday (15/11/19) evening being seated at the bar, it was fun to see a happy, polite and friendly bar man make up so many different cocktails and Sangria for patrons.

We took a chance on a busy Saturday night to be those annoying walk-ins without a booking. We were greeted with enthusiasm and squeezed up at the bar. The food: delicious, high quality products. A very superficial complaint in the patatas bravis which could’ve done with a bit more time in the fryer. The drinks: I don’t drink alcohol and the bartender threw together a sophisticated booze-free cocktail for me. The service was outstanding. Friendly and authentic. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic, authentic tapas. I've been here a couple of times now and each time has been perfect. No matter what you order, you can be guaranteed it will be delicious. They had a few different specials up for food and cocktails which added even more options to the already great menu. My partner particularly enjoyed the Horchata Mutata cocktail which has become a new favourite of his. My favourite dish of the night was the tuna served over braised leeks. It was amazing. I can't wait to go back and try even more beautiful dishes. The service was lovely as well, we were checked up on regularly and always served with a smile. Overall we had such a great night here and have no complaints whatsoever.

Best restaurant experience I've had in Adelaide. I'm from Melbourne and come to Adelaide semi regularly. A friend of mine organised a dinner here. One of our friends has fairly specific diet requirements. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. Food was brilliant, cocktails were delicious and above all the service was incredible. This place is absolutely amazing! The chef Jamie is a master with flavours, the anchovies special was to die for! Everything about this place is awesome. I ventured in on my own as I’m in Oz for work & was a bit nervous on a Friday night but didn’t want to sit in my hotel room on my own. I couldn’t have picked a better place to go. Friendly staff and delicious food in a great atmosphere. For a Tuesday night the restaurant was very busy. The lamb cutlets and asparagus were outstanding. The seared tuna was a bit more cooked than seared but delicious and melts in your mouth. I tried one of the specials from the board, the garlic shrimp, and that was the only disappointment. They were a bit overcooked and didn't taste like shrimp or garlic. I will definitely be back for more..

These guys are one of my favourite restaurants in Adelaide. My aunty has IBS so was a bit selective with food. However with the help of friendly staff and chef, they were very accommodating to her needs. We were happy to pay extra for all the dishes we were being particular about but they took it off the bill. My aunty was super impressed with the customer service and gave $20 tip. Overall great vibes, great food and exceptional customer service!
