So I went here for a meal a few weeks back and rated them a big gold star. Went there tonight with Tammy and Greg and the meals were perfect, even Greg's steak was perfect and he finished it and that hasn't happened for a while, which means they now getting a big 2 star rating from us. If your this side of town make sure you try it out you won't be disappointed. And well done to the friendly and efficient staff, we will be back .

The best pub meal in the North. Great value for money and the staff are very pleasant and professional. Here's a picture of the chicken schnitty with the Aussie topping. Currently offering 2 for 1 meals for dinner Monday - Thursday. Can't go wrong!

Food has gone downhill, wondering if they have a new chef. Had a meal recently and wasn't of the same quality, crumbed fish was a bit greasy and chips not cooked appropriately. Also I used to look forward to seeing what creative and yummy weekly specials they had. Not anymore, the specials list has turned into very average pub fare like chicken wings. This is fine if it's all you are used to but since I know what it was like before it isn't.

Very different from when I used to be a staff member there. No more strikes gaming and restaurant, bottle shop or drive thru... no more jacks bar. Miss that place. Staff and the good ol' regulars... those where the happy days. Xx

First time that we have visited The Salisbury Hotel since sections of the hotel were demolished and redesigned and refurbished. Meals on Friday to Saturday are all day dining, and all mesls are reasonably priced. Specials board has usual soup, pasta and roast as well as 3 mains and a special. We ordered grilled fish n chips and salt n pepper calamari. Meals came out quickly and were quite a large serve for a pub meal. Calamari was so tender it melted in your mouth, chips crisp and crunchy and token salad was adequate. 2 large pieces of Grilled fish was not overdone and also came with chips and salad. The main dining room adjoins the front bar and is surrounded by a partition to separate the two areas but it is quite noisy. We were there early so there were no other people in be dining room but the front bar was busy. The ambiance may change once more diners arrive. Will definitely revisit.

Dined on Saturday 15th August for my birthday. The area we were in was full. A group of 12 people and I checked with everyone on their meals and everyone was more than happy. My 400gm T bone was the best one I have in years. Staff are so friendly. Will be back. Only very slight negative was the small amount of wines to choose from.

We celebrated our daughter's 18 Birthday in the place and it was so amazing. The ambiance is very very nice, the foods are delicious and servings are big enough to fill your tummy with a very reasonable price! The staff are excellent,very helpful and very accomodating.. First-time eating in the new area, ate in what we thought was the main dining room which was disappointing to say the least with all the noise coming from the betting area. IF we return I'd eat in the Patio area as that seemed to be a lot quieter even with the Pokies next door to the area. The meal was very enjoyable - reasonably priced, Staff were pleasant and polite.

Gaming room is comfortable, staff very friendly, no waiting time for service, empty glasses/cups cleared almost straight away. Most importantly...Lolly bowls are spaced evenly throughout the machines and replenished as often as needed. I would definately make this a regular place to go as the staff made me feel as though I belonged, even asked my name and asked if I would like them to get a coffee for me. They're doing a great job making patrons comfortable amid the current renovations. A* for gaming rooms around Salisbury!

Me and my wife came in after 8pm for dinner. Staff was really helpfull and polite. They took our order and food was ready in 10 min. Food tasted awsome and i would recomend this place to anyone for dinner. Place looks a bit dingy from the outside but dont let that fool you. Its a hidden gem!!

Thought we would give this place a go. Only 4 different food options are avalible apparently this month. We had a group of 11 and there was no vegetarian meals avalible so she has to have a plate of mash and veg.. Drinks way over priced. Would of gone elsewhere if our group wasn't so big. Dissapointed.
