The food and drinks were incredible, service impeccable. We loved the decor and the whole experience. We have quite specific dietary requirements and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Highly recommend for an evening out!

Great beer!! The vibes are great in here. Huge selection of beer. I love sour beer and they’ve got 4 sour beers in the menu. Highly recommend the IPA and Margarita sour beer.

Went for an end of uni semester/early birthday treat for one. The staff were respectful and catered to my requirements perfectly. I was recommended the "greenslade crumbed buttermilk chicken schnitzel" which came with a slaw and fries (not pictured). I added the sparkke red Ale mustard aioli on the side. The crumb was beautifully crisp and complemented the juicy chicken beautifully. The apple, kohlrabi, and sea parsley slaw had an acidity element to it from the green apple. I paired it with a marachino Cherry mocktail. For starters I had the "Spencer Gulf king prawns". They were easy to pull apart and the juice was soaked up by the sheoak sourdough to create a delicious finisher for the dish. The heirloom tomatoes were warm and a perfect portion. For dessert I had the "chocolate ganache and raspberry sorbet". The ganache had a beautiful consistency and and went perfectly with the sorbet and on its own. I paired it with an oat milk hot chocolate which enhanced the chocolate flavour. It was a very welcoming and accommodating venue and experience. Would recommend for a quiet dinner or an adventure with a group of friends.

Just wanted to add a positive review to help counteract the idiots giving them one star because they are too stupid to get vaccinated during a pandemic. Their double vaccination policy is perfectly reasonable and many places are doing it. It's a nice spot for lunch of a couple of beers. Nothing too special but got nothing negative to say.

Not an easy venue to review. Have not eaten there but have visited numerous times for beers. Some good brews but the the range feels like it has stagnated somewhat recently in terms of new and interesting beers. Despite being double-vaxxed myself, I don’t particularly support their no vax, no entry policy, but am not petty enough to allow this to be the basis for a review.

Organised a function for a 50th birthday at Sparkke. Lucy (manager) did an amazing job for the event. From the set up, to the running of the event, Lucy and the staff at Sparkke were incredibly attentive and accommodating. The grazing boards were good quality and delicious!! Christmas show was fantastic!!! We recently had our work Christmas show and thank goodness it was at the Whitmore, Sparkke lived up to its reputation of a great venue. We had so much delicious food that kept coming all night and the beer tasking paddle was top notch! Even the cocktails were scrumptious... loved it!

Had a beautiful lunch time at Sparkke Restaurant. Their food Menu will lead you through a great fusion of of Asian and Western food. Love the dumplings and Lamb in lettuce cups .. and I am amazed by their own range of brewery beers and variety of Gin base cocktails. This place was built around the core values of: Acceptance and Inclusivity. It made this place different and it's why I liked it. Now unvaccinated people aren't welcome here. There's nothing wrong with that in itself; If a private business wants to do this for whatever reason, then that's fine. However, it feels incongruent with the values they espoused over the years and those values were the biggest reason I liked this place. Now for me it's just a pub like any other pub.

Yum! Had the best night at Sparkke. Delicious meal and drinks to go with it. The staff were really friendly and accommodating with various diets.

The decor is amazing. Love the rooftop bar, so nice and breezy but there is day time construction. Once inside couldn't hear anything though. Amazing selection of beers from sour to stout. $20 paddles are great value. Sparkke brewery also has a merch shop inside, loved the delicious honey malt liquor sample pack. Also love that all their beers stand for something. Absolutely will be back!!

Visited Sparrke a few weeks ago and was told they were only serving a limited menu that day. The menu consisted of considerably overpriced small side dishes and charcuterie as opposed to full meals as expected. I understand the need to do this but it would’ve been nice to be informed ahead of time as we had a dinner reservation. Many of the menu items were sold out and the charcuterie was scant. Though I will say most of what we ordered tasted pretty good, drinks were good and lovely atmosphere also.

Fantastic bar. I can’t understand why (at the time of writing) the Whitmore only gets 3.9 stars?? This is our local and drinks have always been excellent at standard prices and the food has always been excellent and come within a reasonable time frame. Highly recommend both the Whitmore and Sparkke beers. If your a local, my tip is to grab a 2 litre growler home and can refill for a cheaper price.

Unfortunately I had gone to a meeting at the above establishment. I had the wrong date and time. The venue was closed on that day. I hope in the future I will check this out. Great location. Parking on the street.Free after 6p.m. Weekdays. It is a good idea to read all signs if not familiar with city parking.

We have been here a number of times over the past couple of years. It was blatantly obvious from today’s experience that there has been a change of chefs. What was once a bit of a gourmet menu has now become a very typical pub menu. The service was faultless but the food was something that we could get at many pubs around SA. I guess it could be a sound business decision to have a menu that has mass appeal but we were used to having some uniquely delicious dishes here - those days have gone.

Love the place and the staff is very nice, have visited 4 times lately and have had food both at the restaurant and the pub. I must say the food at the restaurant is 5 stars. We had the chef selection and the amount of food was very generous, too much for my stomach! The menu is really interesting, and there is a strong element of originality in the combination of various ingredients. I would definitely recommend trying the restaurant for a unique experience. The food at the pub was definitely not at the same level and each time it was overall disappointing, be it because of the chicken, the fries or the burger. I would urge the head chef to ensure that the delivery standards of the pub food are improved so as not to drag down the overall perception of the destination, because the restaurant really is worth a try.

I heard many good comments about this place, so I decided to try and dine in with my friends. ..and the moment we arrived we just love the place. It was very cosy, they have outdoor area and the indoor area has fireplace.. We were greeted by this young Indian man, I think his name is Vivesh. He was exceptional and very professional. He recommended us couple dishes and beverages. Food was amazing and the Sparke Beers was exceptional taste (they brew it in house).. Will come back again definitely for dinner with my family.

The pub aesthetics were amazing, I loved how gorgeous the location was. The food was good, a friend got the schnitzel and I got the lamb kebabs. The food tasted good. A thin blonde guy served me. He didn't even greet me, no smile, served my beer and turned away. I was shocked at how unfriendly he was.

Very funky, fully renovated pub turned microbrewery in the City's South West district. We were greeted warmly upon arrival. The service was attentive but not annoying. They have a great selection of drinks and various options food wise too. The venue boasts open plan dining downstairs and a rooftop bar overlooking Whitmore Square. The only disappointing aspect was the price. We did love the kimchi sweet potato chips but for $12 for a small bowl we couldn't see the value, given the location. Also, $8 for a small glass of cider seemed a bit expensive. It definitely felt like we were paying for their $1.8M in renovations. I did return a week later and try a lunch menu item rather than a snack which was the chicken burger. Again, although it had great flavour to it, it was $18. I hope they get the customers for the price point they've set because it is a nice looking hotel now since the renovations.

In town from Melbourne, got an online recommendation and sought out this place, excellent choice! Staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable, with a great vibe in the place the beer selection was interesting and fun. Although food options limited they were tasty and good value. Wine selection had a broad range of varietals at reasonable prices, the cream on the cake was Divesh the floor manager who enticed us with their own gin, honey liqueur and digestivo selection. What was planned as a quiet beer turned into cocktails and frivolity with take home gin , a highly recommended establishment with great staff and management, Divesh the leader of the band

This place ticks all the boxes. Great upstairs bar area overlooking the park, staff all very friendly and helpful and the food fantastic. We shared a plate of grilled baby octopus which was deliciously tender, we also shared the heirloom tomatoes on whipped tofu and herbs on a piece of chargrilled bread (also delicious), and also the best shoestring fries with their secret sauce which were so moreish I could not leave them alone. Definitely coming back, well done guys.

Great vibe, very popular, a wide variety of creative drink options. Small plates- Grilled Baby Octopus, was outstanding. Adelaide Hills mushroom & chestnut dumplings are delicious. Wonderful experience overall for a full three-course meal. Venue so alive and interesting – design and fit-out superb. Creative out-there menu with just enough on offer without overwhelm. Excellent responsive service, esp. Arren's. Excellent wine list. Our choices were just the ticket. Too much salt in almost every dish and a little too much acid too in many, (esp the broccolini) –these hid so many of the wonderful flavours on offer. Unfortunately the salt and 'out of kilter' balance would make me think twice about returning to try the drunken chicken and calamari which sounded and looked amazing.

This Brewery is taking the modern day pub experience to 'Infinity & Beyond'. From its exposed 1800's brick, rooftop bar, copper beer kettles that create it's flagship offerings and a forward thinking pub grub menu that is truly worth exploring, Sparkke will light the way. You get a real sense that this establishment is ran by 'Real People'.... for 'The People'. My one and only criticism would be that on our most recent visit, our group ate from a set menu that for $58 per head, portions where somewhat minimal and left us still hungry.

Interstate traveller here. Ginger beer and Black IPA were really tasty. Heard the latter is limited release, so good luck if you wanna try it. Service was warm but tentative. You'd have no problems and feel happy enough, but at the same time I did not feel as at home as when I was in another local brewpub outside of CBD. Bit of a mixed review but 4 stars is about right. A lot to like but not yet the cream of the Adelaide crop.

What a great pub. Awesome beer brewed on site by women for everyone. Ambience is excellent and some great street art by Jimmy C on the inside.

Much needed breath of fresh air in the pub food space in Adelaide. Everything has really been thought through so well for this new venture. Having now visited twice within a week and sampling a large portion of the menu I can honestly say that the food is really on par with most far more expensive restaurants than your average (or even really good) pub, there is even more traditional pub food available in the upstairs bar if that’s your thing. The customer service is at a level that very few establishments could even get close to matching, it is attentive without feeling like you’re being hovered over. I highly recommend the broccolini. The only fault I can find is with the separation of the 2 menus (restaurant and bar) in that our group was split between the 2 and had to eat separately as a result, I understand the premise but it kind of seems like an unnecessary barrier.

My first evening here was preceded by a friend being racially abused at another pub nearby. We turned here because it felt like it would be a safe space - and it was. Well, looks like I have a new local! Hooray! In terms of fit out, this newly reno-d pub hits a home run. It is BE-A-U-TIF-UL. Lots of different little areas to sit and enjoy all using the highest quality materials. The staff are friendly and the rooftop bar is perfect on a sunny day or balmy night. Today I had the vegan burger which was very nice. The food and drink certainly aren't for the budget conscious but you get what you pay for.
