Nice place in a convenient location. It is a pub so the menu is limited and not much else. The service is very good, the boys were friendly and fast. The layout of the place is funk and different the outdoor patio upstairs is the best area. Burgers are 22 dollars and kids food runs for 12 dollars....i just think they could include ice cream or juice with the kids food but is not you have to pay separately. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Easy parking at the back.

Went to the unley on 12th of February to meet up with my new friends from facebook. Great atmosphere, awesome food, the music was a bit too loud but I definitely go back again and great staff

Good food and nice relaxing atmosphere come together in harmony. We had two lovely meals this is the 5th time we have eaten at the Unley and it's always been good. The only thing that let it down was the broken car window on the ground in the car park? Not a good look and made me feel nervous about leaving my car there Also be warned!!!! The exit from the back car park is no good if you have a nice car, it will bottom out on exit, take it slow and steady. I'd probably think about an Unley council fix or at least a clear sign saying mind the dip! 2 cars scraped the ground when we walked from the side entrance to the back, one was a pretty expensive. Apart from that thanks guys and keep up the great service!

Went here for work Xmas lunch. Set menu had a few choices and the food was delicious. Staff were also really friendly and helpful. Lovely afternoon. Would come again. ☺️

The last time I went to this hotel was years ago when it was called Unley on Clyde. I was impressed by the excellent customer service from the two staff present, liked the unique surroundings and sat in the roof top area. I enjoyed my vegan dinner and beer but I will not be able to frequent this place often because of the price and lack of variety of vegan meals. It was a big improvement on the Cremorne Hotel though.

Despite some reluctance we came back after 12 months to try The Unley again for Sunday lunch. A big improvement! Meals came out in good time, passed the taste 'test.' Courteous table service by Sky & other staff. Icecream Sundaes were the high quality icecream variety (hate getting ripped off with the cheap watery kind). Ambience nice, spacious, clean. Convenient parking around the back. Music a tad loud for chatting. Happy & back soon. Cheers, Nicolas.

The rooftop is the best! The food is great, we shared some small dishes and epic hot chips. The barman looked after us very well. It's a relaxed vibe on a Sunday lunchtime which was perfect for our purpose or a relaxing catch up.

I had my baby shower in The Patio here. The staff were great on the day. Planning in advance for the event was led by me, rather than anyone getting in touch with me to organise, but when I gave instruction the response was good. No one ever called me regarding my function. I sent a few emails outlining what I wanted, times, foods, decorations and setup etc. Service on the day was great although food came out late so we had a lot leftover.... thankfully the wonderful staff boxed our food up for us to take home! Would recommend The Unley for functions if you know exactly what you want. As a pub, the rooftop section is gorgeous and would be really nice in Summer (has fans). The bar downstairs is a little lacklustre but nice. There is a pokie room out the back that is very dated, always filled with lots of regulars.

We randomly chose to book The Unley for a meal after the footy and are so, so glad we did! The staff were warm, friendly and immediately accommodating. To top if off, the meals were so good! We'll definitely be going back.

I recently held my mum's 60th here. From the start we were recommended different venue options - there are big function spaces, but also some free booking options for those who have smaller groups. We were able to order platters with gluten free and vegan options, and could either organise wristbands for an open bar or a bar tab on the night - everything was made easy. All the staff were very friendly and attentive throughout booking and on the night - lots of following up on how and when we'd like our platters, keeping track of our bar tab, and going out of their way to make my mum feel special on her special day. Thank you Sinqua, Billie-Jo, Saxyn, and the bartenders, security and chef who we met on the night - looking forward to bringing my friends back here soon!

I just wanted to extend the biggest thank you possible to you and your venue staff. My 21st went even better than I could have imagined, and it was all thanks to you guys! I was extremely pleased with the organisation stage - all my questions were answered promptly, and it was very easy to organise exactly what I needed to have a great night. I dropped in a few times before the night to visit. Your space is wonderfully colourful, spacious and fun, and the food and drinks were very tasty. The staff made the entire night run smoothly. Chris was always on the ball and willing to help me with anything. Josh assisted me with finding a laptop to play photos from, as well as being very easily accessible. Bree (Brie?) very cheerfully made cocktails all night, meaning my guests felt catered for (and the cocktails were delicious!). And Tim provided some wonderful knowledge/entertainment at the end of the night, as well as providing fantastic bar service. There were other staff members who helped us, but I unfortunately didn't get everyone's names! The wait staff, kitchen staff, and security were all equally pleasant and helpful in making the night run smoothly. I was especially thankful for the length of time we were able to stay and enjoy the night. It ended at just the right time, and many of my friends commented that they were surprised that we weren't asked to leave much earlier! I was also very thankful to the staff for doing all the cleanup for us! Overall, I cannot sing your praises enough. Thanks very much.

Both myself and my partner were very pleased with our meal respectively. Being a Melbourne Cup Function, the staff did a fantastic job of customer service. My only negative issue was being given a raised table with high back chairs, making it somewhat difficult to mount and dismount, for a better way of explaining. I booked a couple of weeks ago and wasn't made aware of being placed in this type of seating. An email and/or phone call would have been nice to allow my party to have a choice of keeping the booking.

This place needs to improve its performance in attending to patrons as we had to ask for service once we found our table. We were a large group and the staff were mainly friendly considering the busy night. All except for one staff member who looked like everything was an effort. Miserable was the word and the face she wore. The food was pub typical but expensive for what you ate . No senior discount either which most pubs offer.

I liked it. I found their prices reasonable and enjoyed the quality and service. They have a nice area for smaller-medium sized groups. They had parking on site which helps and their pokie room also had a nice layout with welcoming staff. I'd take people there again if in the area.

Had my engagement party here on the weekend, it was sensational. We had the whole top floor. Could not fault the venue, the staff, the food and DJ. So easy to work with, accommodating to special requests and just made the night one to remember forever. So pleased and would recommend this venue to anyone. Great outdoor spot with the beer garden and the air con was great despite it having been late 30s all day and a warm night. Visited the venue for meals several times in the lead up and it did not disappoint.

We just had my mums 60th here on the weekend and it was amazing!!. The food was Perfect, everyone enjoyed their meal. The room we had was upstairs and was a great setting/ambience with the cozy fireplace on a cold day in the middle of winter. Working with the staff was easy and they were flexible with various requests we had and great at getting back to me during the week as we prepared for the party. I Would absolutely use this venue again. Highly recommend 😊😊

The roof top Unley Hotel is perfect for families with young children. They are able to move about safely and high chairs are provided as needed. Staff are fantastic , so obliging. We'll be back. Great location and atmosphere too. ☺

Great pub. Came here on Sunday for lunch and they had 3 plates to share for $24. We chose the haloumi which was absolutely delicious, the squid which was the best I've eaten for ages and the last dish was the tofu which was incredible. We washed this down with a nice bottle of wine. For $62 it was a great lunch. I can't wait until it gets warmer and sit outside on the rooftop and try some of their other dishes. I think they have a good Chef on board.

The food was just okay. The haloumi burger was too sweet - sweet bun and sweet caramelised onion, and the onion overpowered everything. It desperately needed acidity so I didn't feel like I was eating dessert. The chips tasted like fish and we're therefore not a great pairing with the burger.

Such a delightful bar. We enjoyed some delicious dips (you'll need the extra pita bread!) and a glass of wine on a sunny afternoon. Part of me still longs for its Boho Bar days, but that was long ago and far away. What it has become now is absolutely lovely. Additionally, the upstairs outdoor balcony area is perfect for parties or a lazy afternoon in the dappled shade. Definitely worth the stop in.

My mum and i go there all the time during the day. It's our local. The food is amazing. We have shared the grazing plates- Wild !! The Parmies are delicious. My husband loves the steak. Theres something for everyone. Every day they have a special deal going. We have never once had a bad meal there. The staff are friendly and there is a car park around the back so you don't have to try and find one on Unley Road which is a BIG plus. It's a really cool place to hang out. Love the rooftop bar. The rooftop bar always seems to be pumping at night whenever I go past. It is a popular place and the front of the building looks beautiful at night with all the lights !! Its hard to miss... We love the pokies there. Lisa who works in the gaming room is such a kind, caring and beautiful lady. Every week its like visiting family. She always welcomes us with a smile and we are never without a drink. The snacks seems endless and mum and I both love the pokie machines. They always keep updating to the new machines. Thats why we go back every week. Thank you Lisa. Even though we never say anything we do notice that you work hard looking after every single person in there playing the pokies. Great job The Unley for employing such a dedicated employee that clearly loves her job. Having said all that (sorry for the long review) all the staff, right out to the drive through bottle shop are friendly and helpful. I say GO .... you won't be disappointed !!

I was there two weeks ago with some friends for dinner. The lady who apparently is the manager was quite rude with us when taking our order. We ordered some entries, and she took the menus away from us. When she brought the entries and my friend asked ”where is the halloumi?” the manager said ”here, halloumi is a cheese!”. Oh, thanks for letting me know that halloumi is a cheese. — not coming back.

As soon as we walked in, the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Good pub meals. Cocktails are yummy. If you're looking for a nice easy place to eat and drink. The Unley is a good place to go.
