Have been coming to the Alderley Arms hotel once every few weeks since my partner and I moved just across the road months ago. Both service and food are consistently flawless, no fail. My partner loves the ribs so much he holds them as a standard to which he compares all the ribs he has elsewhere; I am partial to their chicken schnitzel but ordered a variety of food over time and it’s always been outstanding. Staff is always pleasant, professional and friendly. Service is quick and drinks are great. Very lucky to have this as our local!

If your looking for an amazing meal then look no further. We thought we were in for a normal pub feed, but oh boy were we blown away. Everything was mouthwatering, an absolute highlight was my steak, every bite was tender and juicy, and that was just the rump. Our table also had the bacon parmy, steak sandwich and Caesar salad which were all amazing.

Based the on the food reviews we decided to go try some decent pub grub for dinner and head to the Alderley Arms. We did see a few reviews about the down turn in customer service based on the electric order apps on the table. However, while I can see why people would write this I feel based on what I witnessed that the app services suits some and the ones that did not want to use it got normal table service. To me that shows that the Alderley Arms is listening and are tailoring their services based on the clientele as they come in. We used the app and the food was excellent. We will be returning. They did bring a wrong order for one of our meals but offered and immediate refund. We declined as both meals were excellent even if it was wrong. We did notice the girl at the front counter assisting people to their tables (she pointed at our table to sit at) seemed lost while the manager? Was running around off her feet taking orders, clearing tables and providing outstanding service. Overall great venue, great vibe and great food

I came in on Friday night for a birthday dinner. I commend the team at Alderley, the food was exceptional as was the customer service. I found the food to be fair priced. I came in again today and was greeted by excellent customer service from Shivon. She was very attentive and professional. I would highly recommend giving the Hawaiian Parmi a try! 😊

Great pub! Just had lunch at Graziers Steakhouse. Highly recommend 600g Rump Steak, cooked with perfection. Caesar salad and Calamari as entrees, all delicious! Service was fantastic, attentive but not intrusive! Definitely will be making a return visit... 😊🤙🍴

Always good food. Service is great and the staff are always welcoming. Wish they would bring back the beef ribs though. When they took away the beef ribs from the specials menu my heart dropped. I struggled to get out of bed the next morning with a smile on my face. For the weeks the beef ribs special existed, it was the best weeks of my life. I will never understand and fully comprehend why the decided to do this to me. The day the beef ribs make an appearance to the Alderley hotel, that is the day I will proceed to come in daily as I once used to. Again, amazing staff and friendliness, but I just want those sweet, delicious beef ribs to touch my lips once again.

My mates and I chose the Arms for our Friday lunch. It was awesome, great service, ambience and excellent lunch. My pie was perfect. I'm looking to checking out the Chef's parmy innovation next time 👍🏻😎

I seen Brisbane Australian & New Zealand cover band " Across the Ditch" on the 25th of November! So the Alderly Arms Hotel is an excellent entertainment venue! It was a full house! It was the locals Christmas celebration! Free beer for the local regulars! A large smoking area ison the street level! A popular restaurant provides an excellent menue which is quite affordable! Pokies out the back! Excellent views of the screens of the horse races as well as all the sports! A great friendly atmosphere! ☀️ Sunday's there is free pool all day! Nina Greg Wayne & I enjoyed the barbecue chicken wings garlic bread & Chips! It was finger licking! The new waitress brought wet one's to wipe our sticky fingers! Most enjoyable! They shared 2 separate juggs of beer & I had an apple cider schooner!

Me and my wife have been frequenting this establishment for many years. Tonight the staff Sophie, Courtney and Steph went above and beyond to serve us. They were helpful to my wife's needs and bubbly. I ordered a steak which was cooked beautifully. The food always is but tonight especially. The customer service was top tier. Taken a few of the favourite poker machines away and installed them with ones people really don't like playing so pokies room is much quieter then normal in fact whole pub is as the meals are dearer and the drinks even if your a monty's rewards member They have lost our 10 family members we will now go to Southside Sports Club (or others like Kedron Wavell or Geebung RSL even Newmarket Hotel) longer transport option but meals and drinks cheaper plus members of Southside Sports Club get a say in which poker machines need to go and which to keep you just need to tell them in the pokies room

Nice pub with friendly staff and a good atmosphere. We were there on Tuesday night and joined in the free Quizzame quiz night which was very entertaining and good fun. Food looks nice with daily specials and a huge car park out the back with plenty of parking. You can play on the pokies there till 4am, if that is your thing. Enjoyed $5 schooners of Great Northern 4.2% all night and will come back again.

Reasonably well priced beers. And similar for the food. Staff are always nice.

I have hesitantly given this venue 4 stars. Why? Because I have been patronising the Alderley for over 15 years and it has always been a favourite suburban pub of mine. I can easily put $1000 + through your coffers on a weekly basis through beers, pokies, TAB and food (which I can easily prove). But on more than one occasion recently I have had a rude staff member really get on my nerves, and if it continues I will take myself and my wallet elsewhere..

It is with a heavy heart that i write the following review. The Alderley Arms has been like a second home for myself for the past two and a half years. It has provided me with many fond memories and filled a void in my life which nothing else could. It is the quintessential Australian pub that has a multitude of redeeming qualities. A pool table that has seen more amateur pool matches than i care to imagine. A smoking area that allows you to view the hustle and bustle of the surrounding Brisbane suburbs and monthly beer specials that have taken their fair share of my weekly pay check. However, the cornerstone of this establishment is none of these things. The reason i and many others constantly frequent The Alderley Arms Hotel is for one thing and one thing only. The Chicken Sandwich. So imagine the anguish i felt to hear that the sports bar menu had changed and my favourite delicacy has now mutated into something that no longer resembles its former glory. This is far worse than the time i asked for extra cheese and the chef added grated parmesan. The whole recipe has changed. No Turkish bred. No bacon. Nothing that resembled the dish i once loved. I am still giving them 5 stars. Mostly because the staff are great and they have put up with my shenanigans for far too long. But i sincerely ask that they restore the sandwich to its original perfection. If they have to add $2 on-top, do it. I don't care. In a year that has already taken so much. I humbly ask they don't take away the best lunch/dinner i have ever had.

Came for lunch today after checking out the menu online only to find they have a new Covid friendly menu with a quarter of the options and a 20% price increase, it annoys me that we are the ones getting back out spending money to be treated like fools. Apart from that the staff were very nice, had a steak which needed more seasoning and taking out of the fridge more than 2 minutes before you cook it would have helped with the temperature.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Awesome dinner. Took our dsughter out for a mini celebration plus she was craving a parmi and she loved what she could eat. My buttermilk chicken was tender, crisp and tasty. The coleslaw complimented it well. My brookvale union ginger beer hit the spot too. My husband is a light eater and thoroughly enjoyed his tender crisp panko calamari. Will definitely be back :)

Just moved into the area and had a meal for the first time last night. The lady in the green stripes, maybe a manager? Was very accommodating and kind. The best pub out. I love coming here for so many reasons. I've never had a bad meal here, in fact I rate there steaks as definitely up there as the best I've ever had and that's comparing it to some fancy steak places in Brisbane. The staff are always on point and super friendly. All in all it is one of my favourite places to eat. We had a very positive experience with one of the AA's barmaid. My mate accidentally gave her (she had a name tag with Sophie on it but later found that wasn't her real name), accidentally & unknowingly two $20 bills which she charged the beers to one & returned the second $20. The barmaid could have kept the 2nd $20 bit showed her integrity & goodwill to her Customers! Her actions surprised us & other customers when we explained it to them. We advised the Hotel Manger & asked that "Sophie" be acknowledged & rewarded by Hotel management which he said he would. Congratulations to Alderley Arms for their staff's high integrity & care for their Customers. We'll be back after this terrific experience.

This pub stays open to 3am most nights which is around an hour or two more than most pubs in the area. This cosy venue has a nice medium sized gaming lounge which has entertaining promotions during the day. The food is good quality and the atmosphere is chilled out.

I have reviewed 3 stars for the simple fact they have exceptional customer service. If you're deciding whether to dine at the Alderley Arms Hotel, here are some pros and cons. Pros: - Exceptional customer service. - Excellent quality of meat. - Mouth-watering mashed potato. - Creamy mushroom sauce. - Delicious chips. - Kid-friendly Cons: - Meat is cooked in a way that it will be medium-rare on the inside, but charcoal on the outside. If you dont like the outside of your meat burnt, I'd suggest you tell them that before they walk off with your order. - Drinks will sometimes arrive after you've eaten your dinner, especially milkshakes. - Milkshakes are different every single time. You could get a dallop of ice-cream or a fresh stack of cream on the top, though it wouldn't be so bad if the drinking chocolate used tasted less powdery. Additional comments; Steak Diane sauce is questionable. Roast of the day (roast chicken) is dry with little meat.

Good evening, I Would firstly like to express my absolute amazement in the manager here Shane. I’m usually a patron of the breakfast creek hotel establishment. But tonight I’m exploring my other options within your company. I originally arrived to find one very difficult customer hassling and pushing the boundaries of staff’s capabilities. Shane offered such compassion and understanding to a situation that would have been easily pushed aside by most and even my self. With out going on for hours I’m soo pleased with the management and staff of the Alderley arms hotel. Look forward to re visiting this establishment sooner rather than later.

A hidden gem in an area ......soon to bloom Food can be great on its day, so order in a nostalgic fashion. The Beer's ice cold and the Arms's is open most of the time to find a friendly smile within this establishment . I always wonder what's upstairs in those many rooms concealed by a brief stop at the traffic lights ..... Remember this place is part of the history of brown paper bags handled under the bar, made infamous during the Fitzgerald Inquiry into Corruption of the now infamous Public Service of the era. A bit like the old track to the settlement of Samford outside, lined by the large Morton Bay Fig trees to help keep the old horse drawn coaches cool and to settle the dust under Enoggera Road.
