We had steak, loaded wedge, pizza Food quality was average good though service was not really good. Some staff look so tired. Food price are fair. Nice pub. So many drinks selection. This place is good with friends to get drink. Weekend could be busy

Really good set up. Good drinks, good vibe, good location. I feel like this resturant doesn't give a "wow! " type of meal. Beach house just do everything really really well and you're not left disappointed - both of meal quality/portion and price. Wide variety of options on the menu too which is a good option. Almost like a pub meal menu with a little bit more. Good turn around time between ordering and recieving a meal. Chicken parmas are a good size. Definitely feel full when I leave. Also if you have a membership to beach house the discount goes a long way - another really good perk about this place! The live music can often be way too loud as well if youre trying to have a conversation.

Staff were friendly and fast with service. For food I ordered; 2 Chicken Parmis with Caesar Salad and chips. For drinks I ordered; a mid strength beer called Captain Sensible. Had a nice fruity taste. The chicken parmi and salad was amazing however the chips were cold after 5 minutes of serving them. On a Friday night it's probably best to make a reservation for a table as dinner time can get quite busy especially with a lot of tables sitting empty for social distancing purposes. Thank you.

Great atmosphere, good menu and great steaks. I had the special 12.95 rump steak which is offered daily from 10am to 4 pm, it wasn't a thick cut as it's only 200g, but it is still made flavourful, and the doneness of the steak was perfect for me, for the price, it was really good. The beer selection was good as well. Would definitely recommend going again.

Awesome spot in the city, Good menu selection and our meals looked great and were tasty. The steak dish was a lunch time special and was only $12.90, the steak was so tender and the salmon was delish. A place to just have a drink with a friend or two or stay and enjoy a meal.

Meals are fine enough but be careful they seem to randomly change the menu and refuse to find out allergy information for you. Straight up lie to your face about having asked the chef when you can hear their conversation. Pathetic.

A bit pricey and very busy, the food is okay and staff are friendly. We had schnitzel and squid which tasted fine but the fries that came with it didn't taste good. There's a bar there if you wish to have a drink.

It's a while since we've been here but nothing much has changed. The staff were very friendly and as it was around 9.00am, we had the pick of seats. Our toddler wanted a blue chair, so the staff obliged and we exchanged one chair. The breakfast menu offered a vegetarian option, so we both ordered that as gluten and dairy free. Our meals arrived in good time and were well presented. They were large meals with a generous amount of avocado - not just a slice or two! They brought over colouring in crayons and paper for our toddler too, which we felt was thoughtful. We enjoyed our meais, and a chai latte on almond milk, and it didn't break the bank! I love the position of this restaurant upstairs and overlooking Elizabeth Street so you can see what's happening in the street.

The staff are very friendly and the food is nice with decent portions. There are some great deals (like lunch steak) so you don't have to spend a lot of money to get a nice meal. You can also go to the bar and get a drink with your meal. I got 2 drinks from the bar and the staff didn't have a clue what I wanted, I had to direct them to the drink on the shelf that I wanted. It seemed like they hadn't worked the bar before.

The ambience was nice and the price was also reasonable but I was disappointed with the hot chilli chicken wings and the undercooked calamari. They literally just poured about a tablespoon of hot sauce on top of 2 wings and the calamari tasted like flour. The rest of my workmates who had steak and salad liked their food so I'm not sure what happened with my food. I'd visit the place again next week and will provide an update, hopefully a better one. 😊

I visited this venue twice yesterday, once before a movie and the second afterwards. My first visit was very enjoyable, a couple drinks and chat with the lads. Upon my return we were greeted by glum faces, and no service at the bar. We waited ten minutes at the main bar until someone came and offered their help. And then left the bar after only one of our party was served. I understand that the team would like to have a quick finish, but denying paying customers, on a public holiday, good service just to satisfy your personal agenda is not professional.

My first thought about this place is, meh? The food is not terrible but there is nothing unique about the menu that you couldn't get anywhere else nearby. The cocktails list was just your normal, mojito and cosmo situation. I guess I was hoping for more of a beachy vibe with the drinks. That said, the wife and I shared the mojito jug, after watching it be prepared for 5 minutes, which was not a disappointment. We shared some starters. The sauce that comes with the mozzarella sticks could be better. The wings were cooked to perfection but the hot chilli sauce was not even a bit spicy. The wedges were wedges. You can't really change those. Overall would I return? Sure for some drinks and live music. Would I make it a destination? I might pick somewhere else if given the choice.
