I always love the Bonny View. It was such a busy night due to it being the night before a public holiday and everyone was out so of course getting food took a little longer than usual but honestly the food is always worth the wait. The staff are always lovely and the drag bingo on Tuesdays is such a hoot.

Everything your local should be, with a great deck to enjoy a beer on that lives up to it’s name sake, proving a Bonney view. Staff are friendly and always helpful. Could add a second craft beer tap, but am grateful for the one they always have. Food seems better recently too.

Staff are rude and way too concerned about covid mandates, making guests feel uncomfortable. I understand you have to follow the rules but it's not like the cops are watching with binoculars from out the front. Chill out, it's not a hospital.

I used to have a dinner here every Wednesday of school term, enjoying quality of food and size of portions. However, today I came with my daughter and was not allowed to sit at any of my preferable tables. The new waitress said they were for larger groups of people. I identified that I would prefer to take a table which would allow me to observe my daughter at the playground, and was offered only a table at the entrance as an option. Both tables which I asked permission for were not reserved and were not occupied until we left. Disappointed with the experience and will not be back.

Celebrated my daughter’s birthday tonight (during a very intense storm) and the staff were fantastic and did a wonderful job making sure everyone was ok. The food was great and very reasonably priced. Look forward to eating there again.

Service was excellent food was good. Chefs made the pasta just the way my daughter wanted it so thank you for that. But to older lady who was a customer , she was swearing in front of our 8 year old daughter, so my wife politely asked her to stop, and then she started carrying on that we shouldn't bring our daughter to a pub , and that she should be allowed to swear because she is at a pub. We were just trying to have a nice family dinner and my daughter left in tears thanks to the rude , miserable lady.

Service was great from the lady in the bistro. We spilt water and she rushed over and was polite and offered to refill our cup. Food was okay/reasonable considering it’s a pub. Chips were so salty I felt like I was going to go into cardiac arrest (the good kind). Call me what you will, but no cheese on the burger? I understand that it can be added for a price but like many others before me I’m sure they were just as disappointed when they discovered this after they ordered their meal and it was placed in front of them. Surely it makes more sense to just include it and those who don’t want it can have it removed or at lease confirm as most would ‘assume’ a ‘burger’ includes cheese. A burger without cheese is like fishing without a boat. It’s still doable but it’s no where near as fun.

The food here truly is great. I've had the steak with a calamari topper and the beef cheeks. Both were much much better than you would assume based on the reasonable price. Whoever is cooking this stuff really knows their way around a kitchen. Good work you guys. It's miles better than these pubs that charge $40 for a steak and they have reset my ideas on what you should expect for the money when getting pub food. I think I'll be stopping by regularly from now on.

My daughter ordered the chicken schnitzel for herself and the schnitzel parmigiana for me tonight through uber eats. Both were excellent in taste and size. The delivery was prompt considering it is the NRL Grand final night. Would highly recommend the Bonny View Hotel.

Since renovations the pub looks so different. Music bingo was fun. Took about 45 minutes for my food though and all it was, was a bowl of wedges with sour cream and chilli sauce.

Had a wonderful lovely lunch at the Bonny View hotel for Father’s Day. It was super busy being a special day but the staff were lovely and helpful and our steaks were cooked to perfection and all other meals thoroughly enjoyed.

The 5 stars is mainly for the kindness of the one staff member in particular. Chris did a great job. Very kind and even though there’s no coffee machine in the gaming area, he went out of his way to make me a coffee from the bistro for me. Good coffee aswell. Such a beautiful pub inside too, great renovations. Never been before, but looking forward to coming back for dinner now.

The steak meal we had was awesome to eat, well presented and very well assaulted my nostrils with a great smell. Thank you to the young staff lady that served us, she was very courteous and well mannered. Would come back more often for a quiet meal or two thank you.

The menu here is a little illusive. The fish appeared to be from a cardboard box, similar to I&J or Birds Eye battered fish that can be bought from a supermarket. The steak was cooked to my liking but the salad was left wanting. The $5 salt and pepper calamari topper consisted of 4 small pieces that also appeared to come from a supermarket cardboard box.

This pub was lovely. We arrived at 5pm and it filled up very fast with patrons. We didn't have a booking but luckily managed to get a table. We were able to sign in from our phone and then order and pay on our phone also. The drinks and food came out very fast. I was very impressed. I ordered the spaghetti and it was one of the best spaghettis I've had in a long time. I will certainly come back especially with the special they currently have on. 50% off bistro prices from 5-6pm.

I went to a Trivia night with friends - my first visit ever. Loved the Trivia night - lots of laughter, & learned a bit at the same time. I also enjoyed a meal & drinks, all of which was reasonably priced , & delicious. I will definitely go back again 😊

We came for Saturday lunch with our four children to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The entire team were first class, complimented a round of drinks along with a lovely card. The meals were first class compared to pre- renovation. The value for money, in particular the kids meals was great. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!!!

We always have a great experience dining here. The Bonny is well known for their Parmys & the new Bonny parmy is awesome. The staff are always very friendly & welcoming. As was demonstrated tonight while waiting to place our dinner order. Unfortunately, Chris had to deal with some difficult customers & at all times kept his composure & professional manner whilst providing a friendly attitude.

Called in for a lazy, Sunday lunch and was greeted by a friendly staff member who was dressed in a sparkling Christmas-themed outfit.
