Haven't been here for ages. But when my friends and I heard on the local grapevine that it will be closing soon for refurbishment/renovations we decided to come for old times sake. The menu is varied and there are daily specials available as well. There is a good selection of wine and of course beer on tap. It is family friendly and they have set up a low table for children to sit, it has a blackboard behind it to keep the little ones occupied. The decor is very tired looking but this definitely doesn't detract from the quality of the food.

Brook hotel 🏨 was the best I ever tried they made me feel welcome and the management could not do enough to help me out and the staff was friendly and helpful and I use my Monty's card save 5% off restaurant and bar drinks and table services was excellent and the food came out straight away from the kitchen nice and hot and delicious they had a big menu range and the drinks was icy cold and I got no fault of this pub Ibe back and the motel was excellent too

In the public bar, happy hour is between 12 pm & 2.00 & again from 4.00 to 6.00pm! During this time you can get a pint of XXXX Gold for only an extra 50cents more for a pint than a schooner! There are 2 pool tables for $3.00. You can play Keno or darts! Or gamble on the racehorses! Efficient service provided by the staff! On the 25th of June, my girlfriend & I had a quick gamble on 3 different pokie machines but I needed the kind & helpful barmaid to explain the keno odds! I was having trouble working out how many numbers to choose! I figured if you marked out 40 numbers your odds would be less but she informed me that if you get none you win too! I was still confused about the odds & chose 8 numbers for 4 games but unfortunately never won a thing! She gave me a little booklet that explains it all! Comfortable, clean, and cosy to sleep and stay ,booking on line is very easy no hassles and a confirmation payment and reservations from management in an email was good to get .Dinning experience and our meal was delicious 😋 thank you we will be back again .

Came here for my birthday lunch, long time lurker but I have never eaten here - by far the best salad I've had in a long time. Not only did they also accommodate my 8 week old puppy the food was outstanding. Will definitely return for lunch again. Compliments to the staff and chef!

The brooky pub just had a menu change, a little disappointing in the lack of lunch specials now , and even pricing seems to have gone up in general. But we tried the lunch rump and it was cooked perfectly, the salad dressing was a hit too (and I don’t even usually like dressing!) The staff were friendly and even with a little mix up the lovely lady that served us realized later on and apologized and explained what had happened. All in all, for what the pub looks like on the outside it is a nice surprise inside, clean and tidy venue, good food, friendly staff. Don’t judge a book by the cover , definitely give them a go

Love the sports bar. Food is always well cooked and the new menu might have seen prices go up slightly but everything I've ordered from it so far has been quality. Pokies and TAB for those interested as well as pool tables and there are dart boards here. Its got a little bit of everything ^^

Excellent food & fast service! My boyfriend ordered pork ribs & he said It was very tender! It fell off the bone & melted in his mouth washed down with a Tooheys New Schooner! I even tasted his pork & I agree it was yummy! I had garlic prawns & it was beautifully creamy! I had the house wine at $11.00 A glass! I played keno afterwards but only won a couple of dollars! Greg put $10.00 in the pokies & was $40.00 ahead for 10 minutes but lost it again! Great friendly atmosphere & very popular for dinner! Great friendly staff! Perfect efficient & helpful service! Always a pleasure to hang out there!

Small, aging and dim venue. Does not serve food Sunday or Monday and unless you're a regular you wouldn't know this until you got to the bar to order. Previous visits, food is average and priced ok for pensioners.

I met up with several family and friends for a lunch gathering. The food was really good. We ordered several entree dishes and had them banquet style in the centre of the table they also provided each guest with a small plate. All the dishes were lovley I especially liked the buffalo wings, prawn twisters, calamari and wedges. I liked that we could order from both the lunch and dinner menu giving us more options. I had the pork ribs and they were awesome the meat was so tender that it fell of the bone and I didn't need to use my knife to cut it. Everyone really liked their meals. The chef did make a mistake on one meal and he came out apologised and remade it, and then bought it personally out to the table. We all make mistakes, the way he handled it with excellent customer service and a friendly manner made up for it and turned a negative into a positive impression. We all left happy with our meals and the service provide by the staff. I will definitely return to the Brook hotel for another meal.

Great pub. Plenty of parking everywhere. Strange shape for a pub, but it works. Food is excellent. They have accommodation available. Excellent food. Walking distance to the shopping centre. You can drink, have a punt and the missus can walk a short distance to the shops. Happy days.

I attended a wedding reception at the Brook Hotel and well, the service was okay. Drink selection at the bar was poor and some of the food was good some not so much and the venue needs updating as it looks a little warn. Didn't stay in a room. Overall the night was good though I personally wouldn't have my wedding reception at the Brook Hotel.

Not a bad location for our event. All we needed was room and the facilities offered. Nothing got extraordinary. Decent facilities and lots of food and drink options. Staff were pleasant but very overwhelmed and unprepared for our event. This led to running out of some cold drinks and long delays on food. Would book or attend a similar event again.

A huge shout out to Harrison (Security) & Bri (Bar Superwoman) for a wonderful night Saturday 14th September! After attending our 30th Year School Reunion my fellow classmates and I were looking for somewhere to continue the party & the Brook staff made sure we felt right at home! No warning given to the 30 or so people that just rocked up on their doorstep! A room was opened up especially for us, music put on & the drinks kept flowing! You made our Reunion the best we have had! Thank you so much for having us & we look forward to returning for another catch up next year! I have never met such lovely staff and considering the influx of people they were more than happy to see us continue our night with them! Lots of laughs and way too many stories of "when we were young"! Cannot thank you enough! Harrison & Bri, you are absolute legends!

We had a short stay at The Brook, rooms seperate to pub, nice and quiet. Pub itself is great and has lovely food. Short walk to the brookside shopping centre that has just about everything you'd need. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if in the area.

Suburban hotel that has been taken over by poker machine mentality. If that is what you are looking for ... Give it another star maybe even 2 more. Thanks for the reply, and certainly your point about providing accommodation is a good one as options in the area are not that plentiful. I am just going to ask you to forgive me for my anti gaming machine bias, but I have fond memories of The Brook from a lifetime ago when it was a verrry lively joint, one might even say a social hub. Anyway, I am told, that if gaming machines are your thing, The Brook is a good one.
