S. D.I was put up by my company and when I drove in I thought it was just a pub with a motel but the rooms are clean and have everything you need to enjoy a good night's quiet sleep as it is tucked away from traffic noise.
I am a fussy eater and ordered the rump with chips and salad and enjoyed it that much I had it for 4 days straight.
The staff are friendly and you can have a joke with them especially the manager and bazza.
I will be back regardless if it is with my company or not.

L. N.The tavern and motel are located just north of Mackay and off the main highway so quiet. Meals are good value for money and well prepared. The motel is very clean, comfortable and good rates.
