This place offers a relaxing environment for drinks and food. They offer a number pizza ranges that were brought out very quickly and were of good quality. You may need to order some drinks to fill an empty stomach though. The pizza was thin and portions were on the smaller side however quality wise, they were pretty good. Overall, very good dining experience.

Great spot for an afternoon/evening catch up with friends with a lovely cross breeze which was most welcome after a very hot, humid day. Delicious food and drinks, be sure to try the waffle fries! Good service from friendly staff. Will be back!

Every on our table liked what was served. Tasty and a lot of fries for lunch specials. $20 for a beer, fries and a pizza or burger or something I can't remember. Totally worth it

The food and ambience is good. Ordered a fruit tingle, and received a Blue Curacao mixed with lemonade in a carlton dry glass. I would love if the bar updated their recipe for Fruit Tingle.

Great spot for midweek work lunches. Helpful staff and tasty food. They often have meal deals with good wine or beer and you can order ahead so as to not take too much time out of your work day.

Food tastes amazing. Great atmosphere on a Thursday/Friday night and the staff are great but they are very slow with their food orders even when they only have 1 or 2 orders. Recommend if you have time to wait but if you are on a timed break or in a rush look elsewhere

Thought I'd share a review. Went here for food (and drink) late on a busy Thursday after some drinks with colleagues elsewhere. I was pleasantly surprised with the pizzas. Plenty of toppings, well made and inexpensive (we shared about 6 pizzas). The specials are good, too. I thought I'd put this review in (a few months late) as I found the pizza in this bar far superior to my recent trip to a specialty Italian restaurant in Newstead. I hope it's useful for comparison.

Dear Firefly owners, please please please install some air-conditioning or fans inside the bar area? It was shockingly uncomfortable at lunch time today to be in that space. I can't believe you are able to keep staff with that ridiculously hot working environment. Further, I was advised the oven was not working - my drink would've started boiling had the oven been operational. You owe it to your gorgeous staff.

I recently travelling into Brisbane city and came across Firefly Espresso Bar Pizza. I was amazed with the service from the energetic staff there. It is not often you see such enthusiasm in customer service these days. The pizza was outstanding and the prices reasonable. There is quite a range of other dishes on the menu for those who do not like pizza. I would recommend this venue to anyone who finds themselves in the city and appreciates good food and relaxed ambience.

Very good place for a lunch during the week. Good pizza and they have a good lunch deal. Only thing is a lot of the seating is outside so need to be careful in inclement weather.
