A. S.Location is good, prices aren't too bad given the location. Food was pretty decent!
The staff just didn't seem too enthusiastic when serving. Were too busy just talking among themselves
A. A.Amazing food! Great spot to have a cold one with mates. Surprisingly food was tasty and menu was innovative. They have new specials everyday. I ordered pie, it was accompanied by mashed potatoes, gravy, fried onions and peas!
P. B.City centre pub, popular with commuters. Good service by friendly staff . Crowded Friday evenings. Good food at reasonable prices. Would be 5 star, but toilets are not too well maintained.
M. G.I have been a frequent patron to the Grand Central when staying at the Adina Hotel over the road but last night the smoke in the public bar was so bad that it affected my eyes and throat. I suspect that several patrons outside the main entrance were smoking "Chop chop" When my wife arrived she also had difficulty and we had to eat our great meal in a hurry and leave. I in particular will miss the great times I've had in this heritage hotel.

M. W.Iconic pub attached to Central station. Used to be a bit of a dive but had been spruced up and is now a perfectly congenial place to have a drink or two. At least you won't miss your train!

I've eaten here more time than I can count and every meal has been fantastic. It's also nice to see long term staff members faces each visit too.
My only complaint is that the toilets are very small.. Not alot that the venue can do about it given they are likely in a heritage listed building. But they certainly could benefit from a revamp.
N. R.The best ambience in Brisbane city while your sitting in Grand Central Pub( specifically the outdoor seating). Such a pleasant and relaxing feeling while your having a conversation with your friends over a drink and burger. I am sure anyone who visits here would enjoy because of their events happening frequently namely Trivia nights and live music's, definitely an enjoyable moments in our daily life😀.

E. P.Somewhere I would never really think to go, but it's actually kinda cool and quirky. We were in a function space off the side of the bar, it looked and felt a bit like a train carriage, especially with the windows that over look Central station. Seemed like a nice space for an easy drink after work.

Parmy, Carlton Draught... all the Usual suspects above average quality and slightly upmarket for a pub.

J. L.A lovely pub nestled in under Central Station. My wife and I shared the Hot Wings special and a Steak, both we're amazing! The steak was cooked to a perfect Medium rare. The wings we're succulent and came with two sauces - a hot sauce and a creamy cheesy sauce. The bar staff we're very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much. Would highly recommend Grand Central Hotel for great food and service!

With a range of specials both for lunch and dinner and conveniently located under central statio. It is the perfect spot to catch up for after work drinks or if you're pressed for time a great place for a quick and tasty bite to eat.

P. S.Unpretentious burgers for $5 during the weekends. Beef patty was tasty and juicy. Chicken burger had a nice charcoal flavour. For $2 extra you get hand-cut rosemary & salt chips, crispy outside and fluffed inside. While simple (no bacon or fried egg, etc), these burgers are better the ones I've hadt at upmarket burger shops.
B. B.Pleasant seating experience and atmosphere. Chairs were comfy and we were seated on the high tables. It was lunch time on a Friday.
Service was swift and public standard. Courteous staff when I asked if I could have salad instead of chips.
Only sad thing is that the American Cheese burger that I ordered for $17 was a bit sub-par, and worth less honestly. Bread was a bit too dry, meat way too thin and cooked very well done. Very average meal. You'd get a better, more delicious meal at Santa Monica across the street for a few dollars less and tastier :)

J. B.I meet up with my mate, Darryl for lunch 3 or 4 times a year. We chose the Grand Central Hotel because it is under Central Station as well as the gr8 food & beer the serve. Prior to retiring in 2011 we worked across the road & had lunch there several times a month.
We always found the food, beer & service excellent & would recommend the hotel to anyone.

I had a grilled mushroom burger (which comes with chips) in the Platform Bar (which includes old railway luggage racks and old suitcases from the 1930s or maybe older mounted on the walls).
