Very crowded on a Saturday night. We had the steak, which was excellent. There was a stuff-up at our table because some entrees were ordered, delaying the main meals by a while but the staff was very helpful and tried to make it right.

I come here a lot with friends for lunch or dinner so we can catch up… food is always enjoyable and staff are lovely and helpful. I recommend this tavern BUT do book in as can be very hard to get a table, they are quite often booked out.

Food was decent. Got two eye fillets for the table, a pie and the lamb shanks. Food looked good and had generous portions to go with it- which was impressive. Used the me&u app, which would be fine but did help cause an issue. Found out later that they have a policy that states that anyone under the age of 18 has to be accompanied by someone over 25. Only found out about this after my siblings, partner, and myself had left. Very upsetting :( Might return in 6 years, when I'm 25 :( Edit for context: I am over 18

Jimboomba Tavern is our new local. Booking a table for 2 for a birthday was no fuss & upon arrival found the table decorated with balloons. Lovely touch! The service was excellent, our meals were delicious and the menu varied to cater for all tastes. The venue was well organised and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend the Tavern.

We celebrated Fathers Day at the Tavern. It had been a fair while since I had been there. Was very impressed by the staff. There were lots of smiles from all staff. We were in the second seating - 2pm - so the staff had already completed serving a full restaurant. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal. Good serving size and food was very good. If you are looking for a reasonably priced meal Jimboomba Tavern ìs a good option.

Friday night is seafood night and our meals did not disappoint. Fresh battered fish, crispy chips and tartar sauce plus some salt and pepper calamari and a garlic aioli both washed down with a delicious salad. We loved every bit of it. Great staff and quick service. Highly recommended.

I am a frequent local to this pub and every time they never fail to disappoint. The staff are super friendly, remember the regulars and always ask how everyone has been. It is always clean. They definitely trump all the other pubs around on price, good food, great service and all around great atmosphere. They are able to cater for specific dietary needs, which is great for someone who has a coeliac person in their family, we find it easy to find a good meal (and not the same every time at that). All around great pub for everyone including families. The mixture of indoor and outdoor facilities is also a win. Great job guys, keep it up

I wanted to catch up with a very dear friend who had lost his speech due to a stroke. Amber was very understanding, welcoming and accommodating of this unique situation as we checked in. The meals and service were superb. I was very impressed by Danni whose professionalism and hospitality really sets the tome for the establishment. I'm sure this is why the locals are so happy and friendly. To top the night off, we were treated to a delightful desert. I recommend this Tavern and we will visit again.

I am in my 60s and I have travelled most of Australia and this is one of the best pubs in Queensland if not Australia. I would like to thank Jack and Rosie from the bar for always having a smile and bringing a cheerful atmosphere to the pub, they are definitely some of the best workers I've seen in a long time! I would also love to thank Natalie from the gaming room for going above and beyond for me and my husband. I believe these staff members need more recognition and a raise! Had Christmas lunch at the Tavern 2020 (decided to be very lazy this year). Food was fabulous, far better than I expected. Social distancing on the tables was well thought out. Only negative was the buffet set up could have been placed in a better position for distancing. Otherwise great day and will do again in 2021. Worth the money.

Without any doubt, I'd rate this as the best tavern in the area. The menu has a great amount of different styles to choose from (partnered with great prices), and the serving size of every option always leaves me feeling completely satisfied. When I head over to the bar, the staff are consistently helpful, bubbly and socially entertaining at the perfect level (especially an awesome girl named Mickaela). Kids are also taken care of with their own entertainment room. Thankfully it's fitted with a camera and screen for the parents, so that you don't need to keep leaving your table top check on them. The carpark can occasionally be tricky to find a space in due to the popularity, but there are a mountain of shots, so it's unlikely you'll be looking for long. I personally recommend finishing it off by trying your luck with a game or two in the pokies room. The awesome staff in there make it even better by offering you a free coffee. soft drink or ultra-satisfying lime milkshake. There's a lot to take in there, but all in all, it's the best place you can head to if you want a relaxing night out with friends and family.

I am and have been a local at the Jimmy for many years (40 odd!!) Tonight my son and I had Valentines Day dinner (his shout 💕). We had the best night, we are always looked after by the staff, old and new. The food was amazing (Barramundi and Eye Fillet, soooo good). This venue is a credit to Shane and his awesome staff!!! I attended a ladies night held by Jimboomba tavern in support of breast cancer. The venue was full of people also wanting to support the cause. There was many different activities to do to donate your money to. We were given a complimentary bubbles on entry as well as a dollar from every cocktail purchased was donated. Also a Travie auction was held, every woman I spoke to agreed that it was a great night. The staff were amazing and it was well put together! Couldn’t compliment Ainsleigh and the team enough!!

It was an awesome day. we were greeted,did covid safe activities and taken to our table. I then went to the buffet and a designated server attended to our needs. seafood was incredible, we were offer prawns on arrival while a very short wait. The salads were extremely fresh and the Ceasars Salad excellent. the freshly made bread rolls were wonderful! the roast beef,cranberry roast turkey,vegan Lasagna, baked Barramundi were superb but the Turkey was a stand out dish! the deserts were plentiful Pavlova,New York cheesecake, fresh fruits and cheese platters were awsome! On arrival we waited at the door for people in front of us to be signed in but they took a longer time than necessary as they obviously had to download the covidsafe app. There was only 2 of them but 4 of us and we were waiting at the door for 15 minutes and the people waiting behind us decided to leave. We gave our details and were seated at our table within minutes without needing the app. My point is , these 2 should have been asked to download the app away from the entry or in their own time then maybe the Tavern would not have lost the business of the 2 people behind us that left due to unnecessary waiting.

No matter how we have tried there are steps for the disabled to broach and it's such a small issue with such a cheap and easy fix I'm surprised a company Like Woolworths that are so oppositional to legal action for falls its not been done . Menu was comprehensive and we'll detailed. Food choices were broad and covered the full spectrum for both vegan/vegetarian and meat lovers cuisine. I chose the steak and ribs combo, it was reasonably priced for what I received. The food was good as expected. Wait Staff were friendly and helpful. Kids play ground had a few areas that could be improved on, like lack of air-conditioning and airflow in a very small enclosed room (we requested door to be pinned open as the kids were overheating) and a fence panel had been removed allowing the kids to climb over many areas they should not have been able to. All in all a good experience, would eat there again
