We had such an amazing time at the tavern. Good food, awesome atmosphere with the karaoke DJ (he was awesome!!) and we saw Jason Boon's show. We all had such a fun, happy time with very attentive service by the staff. I can't fault this place. Amenities were clean. It's a gem!!

This place is for the person that just wants to be comfortable and that's me, oneside has a big screen for those major games or fights they have karaoke on sat and pool tables for those challenges with mates and a TAB area for those punters, the next door they have a more quite bar area that leads you to the pokie machine area. Awesome customer service and they also serve meals after 5pm and yes it's good for those family or individual dinners.

Amazing venue for functions, watching games etc and meals. Low stress as the team have you covered, food was beautiful and Madonna and her team are the nicest and most professional staff I have ever had to work with. Thank you for everything Madonna and team you made our farewell party one we could just relax and enjoy.

We celebrated my husbands birthday at the Koala Tavern on the 17th August. The night was a great success with the staff being very helpful and obliging. The platters were generous and delicious we had a wonderful night. A big thank you to Madonna for her organization.

Was a pretty quiet Friday night at the tavern! Function I attended was in the function room, which was large, well air conditioned and had ample standing, sitting, leaning and lounging areas. Staff on duty were quick, efficient and very pleasant.

Was lucky enough 2 have my 60th birthday here on July 7. From start 2 finish, emailing details numbers etc ,service was excellent from all staff in the function rm etc. The room was decorated n tables set up in a selection of colours we could choose from. The platters of food were so so delicious. Our guests r still talking bout them. They even did a gluten free platter which was so good. The bar being in thed room as well was great as we didn't have 2 go in n out 2 get drinks. N at the end of the nite no cleaning up. Thanku so much Koala Tavern. I will remember that nite 4ever

Food and prices are on par with any similar tavern/pub. Can't comment on night time food and entertainment but when I've been through the day it's a good lunch with complimentary hot drinks and biscuits ( sometimes Tim tams) in the gaming room

Went in during covid restrictions they have done a great job setting up stations. Plenty of parking around the Tavern with 1choice next door and also Capalaba central behind.

This little tavern is great for a quiet beer or to watch a boxing fight night. Lots of pokies if your into those. Mouth watering meals and icycold beer. What more could you want. Drive safely.

The burger was alright, the chips were average. Garlic bread was nice. Downfall was the service, the lady who took my order and delivered my food was forgetful and robotic. Had to repeat things a few times for her to get it. My daughter asked what soft drink was available and I spouted off the normal soft drink options, including fanta and confirmed with the lady taking the order who agreed those were the options. My daughter chose fanta and suddenly they don't have fanta. One of the ladies who brought food over was lovely, had great customer service and was friendly. She accidentally dropped one of the garlic bread pieces and went to get us a fresh lot straight away. Now let me get to the wings. This was the most bizarre part of the whole meal. The wings come with ranch and a blue cheese sauce. Now one would assume the blue cheese sauce is the typical, cold, blue cheese dressing that you normally have served with buffalo wings. Then you'd be wrong with that assumption, as I was. It was a hot cheese sauce. The type you would pour over broccoli and cauliflower. Never in my life have I been served a hot cheese sauce as a dipping option for buffalo wings. It made me laugh, and still does. The wings were pretty average as well, the sauce was thin and didn't stick to the wings well. Only reason I'd go back would be to order the wings again for someone who doesn't believe me about them having a hot cheese sauce accompaniment.
