MY FAVOURITE CLUB! Awesome blues, rock and roll and TALENT. Very cool bands and people that play at this venue. I love the atmosphere it brings. Friendly staff and environment. Some of my greatest memories have been at this venue. Best times are to go during football season as Milton stadium is down the road and everyone that goes to see a football game will come to lefty’s - heaps of fun!

With a variety of live music acts every weekend, the renowned apple whiskeys and beer-whiskey combination drinks, and a selection of American-inspired snacks, Lefty's is a great place to unwind with mates after a long working week. The saloon themed main hall is intriguing yet inviting, whilst the smaller bars upstairs and downstairs each have their own unique character. Definitely a must-do visit after events at Suncorp Stadium too, which is just a short walk away.

The manager Dan and our bartender Talia made our function such a breeze and fun time, went above and beyond our expectations (and made some really great cocktails!). We thought it might be a little bit of a bummer having an event with no dancing allowed, but the team managed to make sure we still had a blast while staying seated and following restrictions. Highly recommend the mermaid lounge for any events!

Booked out the Mermaid Bar last Friday night for a work function and had a fantastic night. The lady who was running the bar was so accommodating and lovely, was happy to endure our terrible dancing and make us those delicious Whiskey and Apple drinks! A beautiful venue that made for a memorable evening to farewell one of our co-workers. Couldn't recommend this place more highly for the lovely hospitality, fantastic music and delicious drinks

Dropped in at Lefty's on Sat night. First timers. What a fantastic venue. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good tunes and an enthusiastic crowd. In our 40's and thought we would give it a go. Very glad we did. It's not oldies joint, it's not a young people joint. If your in Brisbane, do yourself a favour and get down to Lefty's for great tunes and get on the floor for a dance. What a place! And what a great time I had! Reminded me of my days in Fitzroy in Melbourne! The band was fabulous and the crowd was super chilled. Can't recommend enough. The place to be. Booking is essential is you want to find a seat on weekends.

Just had my birthday function at Lefty’s! I booked the lower mezzanine area, and was a bit worried as I’d never been before and didn’t know what to expect. But it was such an amazing night and an amazing area! Right behind the live band (who were so fantastic!), the food was great — I’d bought 4 platters for around 20-25 people and it easily could have fed more, they did not skimp out — the cocktails were great, the staff were great, and the price was more than reasonable! Everyone had such a nice night (even with having to wear masks!) and I’m so grateful for Lefty’s making my birthday so memorable! (Sorry about the feather boas btw! They just fell apart!)

Just got escorted out for no apparent reason. Once outside realised they had a bunch of young people waiting to get in. Have spent plenty of money there in the past. Won’t be going back. So disappointing😐 As a follow up Lefty’s management has contacted me and apologised for the situation advising there was some extenuating circumstances on that evening. I have accepted their apology and will be back. 😊

Great venue to see live music in . We were there a while ago now when the no dancing post 1st Covid lockdown happened . Great production , excellent ambiance and because of Covid they did table service for the drinks . Which I’m not sure if they still do - but they should !! It was a cool - but not too cool crowd the drinks were good . Ben Ely and his band were awesome and we must be due a trip back there . I’ve been to hundreds and hundreds of venues around Australia and this is in the top 5% . A “ MUST DO “

My sister had her eighteenth here on the weekend and it was so much fun. We hired the mermaid lounge which is unique! Was such a cool experience! The drinks are a little bit expensive but were delicious either way! The food is great too! The staff were friendly and helpful, they look like they have some fun sometimes too which is nice.

Went for a Christmas party. The venue itself is awesome! Loved the vibe. However the service was pretty poor, and the food left much to desire. It's hard to tell if this was because of the number of people or if there really is an issue. If you're going to go, I recommend eating elsewhere

I've always really enjoyed the atmosphere and service at Lefty's, and this past weekend was no exception. I chose to prebook a booth (6-8 people) ahead of time, to celebrate my birthday. The booking process was made simple through Facebook messaging and Brittany was always prompt and courteous in her communication. They accommodated our food requests and managed the bar tab well. As always the music was top tier and all in all I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Great spot. Just one thing, being from South East Asia my wife can handle pretty spicy food. But your ultra spicy buffalo wings are insanely spicy, as in no flavour and all burn, i gave up after 2 pieces but she soldiered on. Ring still burning next day. Yes they live up to the name, its just pretty surprising to find that level of ring burn in Australia. I challenge others to try them.

THIS PLACE WAS INCREDIBLE. Thanks to the Lefty’s team for a great Thursday night out! Recommended Eats: Buffalo Wings (hot) - delicious, and probably in my top five for wings in Brisbane Garlic Chicken Balls - need I say more? Jalapeño Poppers - can never go wrong with these! Recommended Cocktails: Whiskey Apple (Jack Apple) - soooo gooood! Felt like Snow White minus the whole witch part. Ferris Wheel - tasted like what I imagine laying on clouds is like.

Oh poor leftys.. Was once the hottest spot in town, now it gets forgotten. Went on a Wednesday most recenly. there were 30 people there. It was actually surprising because they were not serving the whisky sour, cocktails, or the majority of the wines on the wine list. The band was great you though.

Very cool little bar, this use to be the good old Velvet Cigar (an old strip club) now it’s a great live music bar... with some of the old trimmings this includes the bear and moose heads on the wall with the strippers bra’s hanging off them... it goes off after a game at Suncorp stadium... Note there is a hidden bar through a secret door that not many people know about 🤐🤐🤐... all in all this is a little cracker. Wow went there again on Thursday didn’t realise they had awesome American style hamburgers order 2 just to make sure and yes the chicken burger and cheese burger were both amazing well done guy awesome effort

First time a few weeks ago, and wont be the last time! Good vibes, the staffs are great but the service could of been a little bit better. Although we arrived a bit later on the night the staffs were having a chat and not serving us until one of the customers said help these guys out. Upstairs was filthy, smelly and humid. We avoided that area.

The rollicking good live music and the beautiful women that that attracts make Lefty's well worth the overpriced drinks. But that is as it should be. There is no cover charge and you don't come here for a cheap drunk. Step sideways in time to a world where I am a great dancer because I am having so much fun that I forget to care what I look like.

I always end up here because I work don the road and a few of my friends are hipsters so form over utility wins out. It's OK in my opinion. The drinks are steep and the music is always just a bit to loud to have a convo. If you haven't been definitely go as it's very unique and might be right up your alley. However Meh it's not a good spot to chill I prefer out the back of Staddler and Waldorf next door.

If you are looking for some blues? To listen to here is the place to go. Or if you don't care that people are using others to gather information so the can get a job promotion or foreign citizenship then let the parasitic activities ensue. Asian people don't usually go to see these types of gigs. I have never seen them drink not much beyond Chinese beer and biju ( spelling ) Young women should be cautioned by band members that invite you around the world, then decide to dump you in a foreign country, by intital seranading enticement. The serpent is near, but common sense is closer.

It is a great spot being a Muso I can tell you the music vibe is hot great expressive musicians dont think i have ever saw/listened to a mediocre performance JUST BRILLIANT Biggest downside they let too many people in around 10 to 11 cant even get a drink absolutely savage the fun drops by 90% what a shame for this great venue there is no cover charge so drinks are expensive even compared to my home town DUBLIN
