Got a steak sandwich on Uber Eats, was thinking “yeah it’ll be okay, nothing special, standard”. Well, wasn’t I wrong! This is the best steak sandwich I have ever eaten. Travelled well, perfect temperature, incredible taste! Very impressed. Even my housemate thought this! Well done to the chef who made it!

Called in for lunch today with three friends. The $14.00 meals great value for money and looked delicious. I had the roasted pumpkin, red onion n feta pizza. Delicious had to bring half home as too much. Service excellent, friendly staff. Thank you.

Went here for dinner with the fam and stayed with my friend for drinks after, DELISH! Very generous serving sizes, steaks cook impeccably well, and service was amazing. Nick was so hospitable and welcoming, as were the rest of the staff. The overall vibe is great too, we sat in the beer garden which was super chill/casual and great to relax and unwind in. Cannot recommend this pub enough for a great feed, as many drinks as you want, and an overall fun time ;) PS you can bring your dog to the beer garden too!

Great steak and friendly staff. Pretty quick service and food. Had the pepper steak and 250 gram rump steak with chips and vegetables. Broccolini, carrots and snow peas. We also got cheeseburger spring rolls. Quite tasty. Spring Rolls, but filled with cheeseburger flavours instead of sprouts.

Melbourne Cup 2021 We’ll be back next year! This pub knows how’s to our on an event. The food was exceptional- more oysters than we cared to eat and every single one was magnificent. Arancini, prawns, chicken … I could go on. Only thing I ask is showcase Australian wines - ours are so much better than NZ. Service? As always with this pub is magnificent but they have a bee manager and he’s excited to make this pub the best in Woolloongabba. He’s not far off!!

Just moved to this area, but I'm already a regular. Great staff and service always, and I would have previously given five stars - but I'm not in in the habbit of reviewing. Good selection of beer, great service, all rounded-off tonight by the staff and managements' response to a sensitive safety/comfort issue. Will continue to return here knowing how attentive and responsible the staff are. But really: friendly, extremely professional staff - better service than I've ever received at a local. As one owner to another: I hope you can hold onto your staff, because they're fantastic.

omg- $26 rump that was so thick and cooked to perfection (medium), it was like a $40 steak elsewhere. So impressed with the chef and the staff were SO lovely. Dog friendly as well! What more could you want?

Food ranged from good to poor depending on what you order, but it isn't going to hit its marks as a gastropub. Drinks are reasonably priced as a pub normally is, but it does have a good selection of beers to choose from.

Tricky trying to rate in comparison to all other places I eat. It could be 4-5 stars when compared to other pubs but not so high when compared with fine dining. Context is everything

Went on a Saturday arvo for first time in years to watch the league & have a few bets & really enjoyed it. It was not too packed & nice chilled out atmosphere. Even better was the fact that they didn't have just craft beer & I could get a real beer. Staff were friendly & helpful. Beer was reasonably priced & they did $12 cocktails which were a pretty good. Good place for a chilled out beer with a few mates or the wife.( if your mates are busy.)

Great local pub offering honest pub grub at reasonable prices. Had the Lunch Rump which was 250g and was very nicely cooked. I haven't had a steak cooked that well for a long time. It was a good feed and I added the onion ring topper for a grand total of about $15. They've got Newstead Brewery beer on tap which went down a treat.

Awesome food and friendly service as always! They have $13 lunch specials Monday to Fridays and the presentation is fantastic! Choice of seating inside or outside dining in the beer garden. There are also several pool tables if you fancy a game. Plenty of ample parking and they also have a function room available upstairs.

We went on a busy night staright after a Lions game at the gabba as we walked in we got warned about a wait on food, which was fine. We probably waited 30 minutes for our meals we didn't care we were just drinking and the staff came out and gave us a free round and some garlic bread we're surprised and delighted by this. The food came out eventually after 45 minutes and the staff were so apologetic but the food was of a very high standard for how rushed the kitchen was, it was worth the wait.

Nice food, especially the salt and pepper squid. Nice environment. However, one of the staff at the bar was not professional. It is like international people is not welcome. My wife wanted a hot beverage after we bought our second round of food and drinks. Althought, they advertise hot beverages, the guy said in a bad way "sorry we are too busy and we are only two to make tea or coffee". Seriously, I was the last person in the queue and your are too busy to put a tea bag on a mug with hot water. I still thinking the place is nice, most probably was the bartender who do no like foreigners.

Great service, went to the bar in May 2017 and ordered loaded fries with our beers. The loaded fries were totally bad but not only did they change the plate, they gave 2 beers free as an apology. Now that's service!
