H.The Mapleton Tavern is a gem in a small village with a fantastic view over the green rolling hills toward the coast, good food, cold beers (including craft on tap) and friendly accommodating staff. I'm almost reluctant to give it too good of a rap, as I don't want it to become too busy! We have been here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed.
S.The staff were all so very loverly and acomodating, Parmy was soooooo fresh and delicious! Can't wait to go back again!

Very pleasant environment with great views from the veranda decks. Other garden side tables are also options.
The rest room was impeccably clean. Always a good benchmark of the standards of care of the business.
The Tavern was packed for lunch and the parking was full, but there are more parking areas opposite the adjacent library.
L. T.What a great atmosphere with homey welcoming staff. Your typical beers at the local with killer views. The food was great but we did wait an hour for our view. However, it's not a bad place to be stuck at for that long with a view like that.

S. S.A scenic lunch venue with a friendly but tranquil atmosphere. The drinks were cold and the lunch outstanding. My husband said you couldn't beat his steak sandwich and chips but I think my Jalapeno Pulled Pork burger with slaw and chips was fantastic! It was so tasty and moist with just the right amount of spicy heat. Plenty of parking behind the building. Definitely a place to revisit!

You'd be mad not to at least stop here for a drink if you're passing through. Pretty decent range of drinks to choose from, even Balter on tab which I was surprised to see. Grab a meal too if you're hungry and enjoy a massive burger and crunchy AF chips.
Staff are also super friendly and know how to crack a joke too.
T. H.I'd be comfortable saying I had the best calamari I've ever had here. It was so succulent with a very light coating. So very fresh and such am ample helping for a very reasonable price. Very much hitting above their weight for what one would otherwise assume as a sleepy rural pub.
I also had the roast of the day. A tad on the dry side, but I was rocking in at the end of lunch time around 3pm or so and it did have enough gravy to help counter this.
Staff were friendly, meals were very promptly delivered and the view across the road and breeze were both most pleasant.
Props to the staff and kitchen for providing a meal and atmosphere that was exceptionally good by any means, particularly as it was eeking out the end of lunch time after presumably a long day.
NOTE: Sorry no photo of the calamari. It was a share entree and didn't really want to be one of those people that photographs all their meals. All I can say is the entree size is a decent meal size and well worth it.

It was crowded, but we were seated immediately and served just as fast.
We sat on the balcony, with a beautiful view over the mountains and the ocean.
We ordered lamb shank and a chicken parmy. They arrived in 15 minutes and were delicious.
The staff members were amazingly friendly and the prices more than fair.
We will be back.

Menu had plenty to choose from. Almost had the 'roast of the day' (lamb), but decided on a steak sandwich... just the best steak sandwich I've ever had! Juicy, tender steak, cheese, bacon, fried onion, salad, sauce, on toasted bread... awesome! And the chips were pretty good too.
Staff in the servery and the bar were really friendly. Made the experience even better.
I will be back for more when I'm in the area again.

T. S.An excellent establishment with very friendly staff and reasonable prices (just avoid ciders). The food is cooked with care and a welcome inclusion to the incredible views of the Sunshine Coast that this tavern hosts.
There is also a games room and features a pool table, ping pong table, old style jukebox machine and a HD tv that the staff will gladly change to any channel you want (primarily rugby)
As well as this, the Bottle-O next door is my favourite on the coast, with wonderful staff and specials.
The tavern is an excellent choice for a night out or a lazy lunch with a view
T.We dropped in while out on a ride. The bar staff were very accommodating with us and all our bike gear even tho they were really busy. They were really lovely in the bar and the kitchen.

K. M.Haven't called into the Mapleton Pub for a number of years so thought we would give it a go as they have always served good food in the past. Our meals were excellent! Homemade burger pattie on the hamburger alongside delicious sauce, crispy chips & yummy lemon lime bitters for a drink- couldn't go wrong. My partner tried the steak sandwich & said it was one of the best he had had.

I have been here numerous times and never tire of the hotel.
I have had meals here and they are great.
A great stop for anybody travelling across the Sunshine Coast hinterland and, even like myself, a local, taking in the scenery again...!

4.I've been to this AMAZING tavern 3 times and it has NEVER failed to impress me! The location is amazing and right on the mountain; you can see as far as the eye can see! The food is reasonably priced and is fresh, has good quantity. The place is very clean and is well maintained. If you're ever coming past Mapleton come on and HEAD ON IN to the Mapleton Tavern, it will never fail to impress and you will be as full as a boot! Come on in and grab a drink, relax and look at the stunning views. HIGHLY recommend coming here!

Had the seafood platter for 2, great value and selection of hot and cold seafood. Great beer battered chips, nice salad and bits of fruit were a nice way to finish it all off.
Bar staff were very friendly, as were the people clearing and tidying tables friendly smiles etc. The lady who took our food order must have been having a bad week as she was rude and abrupt. My parents had lunch there a few days ago and also commented on her behaviour, which was at odds to the rest of the friendly team.
We will definitely be back. Great food, bar and table service... fab views too.

Staff are very friendly, though we did not eat here. This pub looked a lot nicer when it was white, for some reason sometime in the last 15 years it has been painted pink. Still a must visit for an afternoon drink where the cool breeze comforts.
