It's a great old pub with lots of memorabilia and the food was great pub food

This is a great country hotel to visit. They have cabins adjacent as well to stay overnight on your journey. We arrived too late for dinner which is from 6pm- 8pm (we would have liked this because people say it's great). But we were given good hospitality. The bar was in full swing being a Friday night. They had music going and plenty of fun customers.

Dinner was delicious and a massive portion!!! The bar was a bit understaffed but the woman that was working did a great job and was as quick as she could be.

Stopped over for the night, free camp on the grass outside Pub, friendly staff very welcoming, food fantastic highly recommend the calamari, going to definitely stop on way home and try the seafood basket, also did I mention the lasagna Wife loved it.

Miriam Vale hotel has good food, beer and cheap rooms upstairs as well as cabins out the back. Friendly staff and locals too. The busy general store next door has everything you'd need at reasonable prices as there's no Coles/Woolworths duopoly in Miriam Vale.

What a find. The daily special was lamb shanks with mash and veggies. Super pub food washed down with a couple of schooners of Miriam Vale Lager. Staff and atmosphere were great. If travelling through Miriam Vale don't miss this.

Great friendly country pub, good food, cabin accommodation basic but clean & pet friendly. You can even have a quiet drink or meal outside & bring your pet along. We stopped on our way sth then again on our return trip. Owners very friendly & obliging.

Great country pub and good food. The 300g steak was cooked to perfection and seems like it would have been left out for a while before cooking because the fat had rendered and it was very tender. Great prices too, whenever we pass through Miriamvale again I'll definitely be stopping for a bite here.

Miriam Vale is a good stop over between Brissie and Sarina. Food was good and quick even though there was only 2 staff working. Had the special chicken pesto salad and my partner had bangers and mash. Would go back.

Waited while a local ordered lunch, paid with 2 credit cards, then ordererd for 2 more friends who arrived while i was waiting and sorted out who was paying for each portion, then another local arrived and was served before me. I just wanted a beer.

We were the first couple to stay in the new unit now. It was presented very well and very tastfull fittings. The publican came over to welcome use and asked to apprass the unit. We only found a couple of issues which were not big and would be changed by the builder. Overall we would give it a 8out off 10. The only reason for an 8 was the mattress was not comfortable. The publican needs to sleep on it one night.all in all I love the pub great staff great food and great atmosphere. Will be back there again..john drake .

Good food, reasonable priced drinks great looking dessert menu, classic country hospitality, gets a little to loud but you wouldn't expect anything else from a pub like this, nice country themed decor. Pool tables are a little dodgy but they are free. Rooms are small, air-conditioning is loud, although small beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, great view and breeze on the community balcony nice common room. Amenities are ugly but they are very clean. Wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.

Good food, good atmosphere, good location and great, super friendly service. Manager Mitch is a top bloke and does a brilliant job, he provides good honest service like and old fashioned butcher 😊 My little doggie was made so welcome, she had her own drink bowl and we ordered a steak which came cut up in her own little bowl. Thank Mitch and crew for a great lunch out. (Gladstone and Bundy locals)

Stayed in the cabins out the back, the beds were comfortable but the air con can't keep up if it's a scorcher. Ate two meals at the pub both were decent feeds considering the price and the beers were cheap. No internet sadly. But the price is good if you are staying for a night on the way down or up the coast.
