This is a meeting point for young people. Busy and loud. Good pizzas. Nice location on the water front. Off peak times its a nice place to relax and enjoy the view and have a drink and some food.

Lovely casual ambiance and menu amongst a rather sterile, poncy glamour strip of restaurants. Best view point along the river and my new favourite place to sit and watch the world go by. Perfectly situated near the Riverside ferry stop. Could do with a more extensive range of local, popular beers but had Great Northern on tap. Fish and chips was/were awesome!!! Great choice of seating options too with outdoor heaters. Also, the cutest Irish barman. 😆

These guys really know what they are doing. The place was packed but the lovely waitress found us a nice table for two. The environment, the music and the decoration of each centimeter of the place were just beautiful. I was considering the food will take for ever due the amount of people, however they surprised me with no more than 15 min. wait. The food was perfectly cooked and the taste was the perfect combination of texture and flavor you are looking for. Will come back anytime. Thank you!

My second visit to Riverbar & Kitchen. We were quickly greeted at the entrance by a staff member and given an option of tables. We chose to sit inside to enjoy the air-conditioning and the seating with back support. Accessibility was very good. Our orders were promptly taken by our friendly waiter, which was great because I prefer placing an order in person. There was also the option of contactless ordering via the ME&U QR code on the table (no app required). This is good for groups who want to pay seperately. Keep in mind that, at the time of writing this, a 5% service fee is added by default, unless the 'No Service Fee' button is actually selected. We ordered the pancakes with berries & mascarpone, and the smashed avocado with feta. We only glanced the menu and didn't realise that the smashed avo is served sprinkled with popcorn. At our request, they kindly replaced this with a new serving that didn't include the popcorn or tomato (see both photos). So if you just want a standard smashed avo on toast (without popcorn or tomato) be sure to request that when ordering. Our Earl Grey tea with milk was hot and satisfying. Iced water was a nice touch. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our brunch and would definitely recommend checking out Riverbar & Kitchen, if you're looking for a laid back location to enjoy the river view.

beautiful location by the river but unfortunately half the price you pay is for the location as the food is sadly not up to high standards nor is it worth its price we ordered the angus steak medium rare $35, gamberetto pizza $23 and linguni for drinks we ordered the wham bam jam, Blue Steel Spritz and Wild Rosé Spritz drinks were pretty and overall quite nice, within a reasonable price range for cocktails which is good food on the other hand was disappointing to say the least pizza was soft and soggy, wasn’t even hot when it came out, prawns were fresh but overall taste and texture wise definitely was not worth its pricey amount angus steak we requested for medium rare, meat was tough to cut, filled with tendons was extremely chewy and a workout for all our jaws, our medium rare turned out to be close to medium/close to rare, photos are shown and no one would agree that it is medium rare, definitely definitely not worth $35, you can get such better steak elsewhere for much cheaper also their salad is a half uncut cos lettuce linguni was from their kids menu and was the best out of the three surprisingly and shockingly, our advice is if you want to get your money worth and get good food order from the kids menu overall quite disappointing, might go again just for the drinks but the food was just not worth their high prices staff were pretty friendly and nice, service is medium speed here

Made a booking for 15 people a month ago for a surprise birthday and the staff made sure we were so well taken care of, on Christmas week and on a very busy evening too! I wanted to give a special shout out to our two servers (table 615) who went above and beyond to ensure everyone was taken care of. Security, manager and all venue staff were so welcoming and kind throughout the evening. They were so busy yet they all had a smile on their face and got it done so professionally. Probably the best experience I’ve had with a big booking yet - would highly recommend this venue for work/birthday functions! Thank you team, we will be back :)

What a great bar/restaurant! The updated system for ordering makes things very quick and efficient. You obviously can't beat the view and people watching. We ordered chicken strips and a burger. Chicken strips were so good I would go back any day of the week to have these. And great portion size too! The burger was good, but unfortunately the chips/fries were pretty awful. Many were slightly undercooked. Tomato sauce had something weird about it - it tasted very off, so that was inedible. Would I return? Absolutely, the chicken strips are that good. Should you visit? Definitely! Great menu, decent prices, good drinks, lovely view.

This venue is large and busy. The staff don’t appear to be very happy, they were all so unhappy. We ordered a jug of Pepsi (Feb Fast), which took 25 minutes to arrive. The food was okay, though under seasoned.

Lovely view and table ordering from your phone due to covid restrictions. It's actually very efficient as you don't have to hang around the bar when it's busy. It also frees up the wait staff to keep everything clean. You still have to go up to the bar to order table water (a jug which was nice and icey). We had the bacon and egg roll, which were delicious and bigger than I've had elsewhere. You pay a bit more but the view is to die for ;-)

Came for breakfast. Nice outlook of the river but can be hard to get a shady spot. Would prefer proper chairs with backs instead of stools but the food was really tasty. Service was a bit slow and wouldn't recommend ordering off the QR code as they charge a service fee which wasn't known until the end.

Nice place to sit and relax along the river for a meal and drinks. We chose a number of the share plates and they were all quite nice. The salmon was the best of the 3, and was really refreshing. The chicken tenders were quite nice but could have done with a bit more flavour. The salt and pepper calamari had good flavour but was slightly overcooked, but still tasty. Reasonably priced and a good range of beers on tap. Will happily go back again for an afternoon feed and drinks.

One of a few bars in along Brisbane River that has a great river view. Right on the business corner of eagle Street pier. Good place to catch up for late brunch coffee or drinks. Food is something need some improvement as for price you pay for. Not a dinning choice for family as they are heavily cater to blue/white collars and fairly noisy.

Always a good spot to sit down and have breakfast, brunch or an evening meal. Service is always friendly and as fast as the kitchen can get the food out due to its popularity. The position is perfect with a view of the Brisbane River and the Storey Bridge. Quality of food is good with reasonable prices for its position. I had the smashed avo - it was yum. Highly recommend a visit.

Good dining atmosphere for breakfast. Latte was on the weak side and I wouldn't order again. Food is also slightly expensive, with the full breakfast priced at $26. One piece of my bacon was burnt and almost inedible. Eggs were poached perfectly. They seemed to be under staffed too on a week day morning as we had to grab our own tap water from the bar after waiting for food in thirst. For the price they charge, you'd expect more attentive table service.

Great restaurant on the river. It looks the part and the food equally appetizing especially the chicken salad if you are looking for something healthy. Great for a summers day, session catch ups or breakfast. Recommended for Brisbane first time visitors just be warned it gets packed at night.

Eaten here at a number of occasions but lately, I feel like it has picked up its game. With stunning views of the river and story bridge, it comes up trumps experience wise. Always busy but somehow, I manage to find a space to eat whether with a friend or a group. A little pricey but the food is good quality and quite delicious. And you never feel rushed to leave.

This is a really lovely place to have a plate with close friends and family. The team is friendly and service is efficient. The food is really good. The Haloumi Sandwich and the Jerusalem artichoke salad was awesome. The simply elegant bacon and beef burger was awesome. The fries were crispy .. just the way it should be. The ambience was classy. Highly recommended.

A little spendy but well worth the beautiful river view. I had brekkie and lunch here and both were excellent. Really quick service. The seating outside has ample shade and misters to keep things nice and cool.

I was in Brisbane for business yesterday and dropped in for some breakfast. It had been recommended to me as a place to visit, have breakfast and enjoy the view of the river. I had tea (I am trying to cut down on coffee) and the green bowl as it was the only obvious vegan option. It didn't dissapoint. It had freshly blanched spinach, asparagus, peas, smashed avocado some watercress all on a bed of delicious Hummus. This is simple food done well. It is not trying to be clever just simple plant based food cooked well. Looking forward to trying the lunch or evening offering next time I am in Brisbane. Well done guys...

Fabulous setting for breakfast with views of the river and Story Bridge. They open at 7am and first thing the outdoor tables are in the sun but it quickly becomes shaded as the sun rises. I had the Riverbar breakfast which was huge and very tasty. The poached eggs were pretty much perfectly cooked. There is plenty of space at breakfast and there was no pressure on me to move on.

The greatest majority of times I have been here, the service and food has been excellent. Views of the river are great and coffee is fabulous. I love the breakfast and it is a really great place to meet up with friends and family. Most times the service has been very fast, and on the very rare occasion coffee and food has been slower. The Pancakes with Mascarpone are the best I've ever had! Atmosphere is great (with plenty of fans etc for keeping cool in summer) and the staff are friendly and attentive. Been here 3 or 4 times now and they do not disappoint.

It is the best on the river bank. the choice of wines will not disappoint you; the cuisine is excellent, few dishes but rich in flavor. The environment is great for some occasion with friends, but also just to spend a quiet evening with your partner, and even if you don't sit outside to admire the Story Bridge, it will be equally exclusive to stay inside among the wooden furniture that recalls the ship. It is also excellent for an after dinner, for a drink; it's a great place to have an aperitif. In conclusion, you cannot fail to try it.

Great atmosphere, ordering system is new and different but seems to work well. We did have to ask for our drinks as they took quite some time to come, but, it was busy. I took my family here for a light lunch. We chose to sit outside and enjoy the warm sunshine and a nice view of the river. There are outdoor heaters if you’re worried about the cold too. Inside option is available also. The food was well prepared and all the family enjoyed it. We had some pizza and chicken tenders. I was also very impressed with the service we received. Would definitely go back there again.

The atmosphere inside is outstanding & overlooks the Brisbane River. All of the staff from the general manager, manager and staff were so friendly. Nice place to relax on a hot day when there is a nice breeze. Great place to catch up with mates over the weekend or after work. Have only tried the beverages and they were okay. Food being served looked good however we did not order. Outside area seating was excellent! Enjoy!

A perfect spot to spend an afternoon with friends. Their cocktail jugs are great to share and full of flavour - I highly recommend the strawberry fields. They also have a wide variety of meals so there is something for everyone. It does get a bit warm inside in summer so I would recommend grabbing a seat outside if you can.

I always recommend this place when catching up with friends and I also enjoy coming here by myself. Lovely decor and lighting and plenty of seating options. Lovely atmosphere during the day and night. In the mornings it's very calm and relaxing to watch people walk past and watch the sunrise too. Coffee is quite nice but nothing spectacular. The atmosphere definitely becomes more energetic and lively as the night arrives. The view of the river and bridge is absolutely amazing. Throughout my 1 month stay in Brisbane, we visited 3 times, twice for dinner and once for breakfast. My food was good and the bar and kitchen staff were very nice. However, during our visits, no one greeted us. The first time we visited for dinner, which was during a very busy time, I was a little conflicted about the self seating policy. Then after sitting for about 15 minutes, we were told that we needed to go back up to the bar to order. Having someone to greet the customers upon entering to explain the seating and ordering system would have made our experience great. Still, the overall experience was pleasant.

Visited this morning for breakfast. Setting is great, right on the river and great for people watching as people wander past on the river walkway. The food was just ok, and sorry to say the coffee was terrible and Luke warm. No one around to speak to as all seemed too busy. But the food was seriously overpriced for something being served out of a pop-up kitchen (the kitchen was being renovated), on disposable plates, with disposable cutlery. It certainly made eating the eggs benedict ($19) difficult to eat. Not sure if this is how they always serve their food, but the food was nothing special and yet they were charging premium prices ($22 for a pulled pork burger). If this is because of the pop up kitchen, then they should have adjusted their prices.

The service at this place is awesome. The location is just stunning and the vibe is always buzzing and happy. Special call out to Montana, Craig, Wes and Mitch. I had booked a table at a different place, who ended up being terribly hard to deal with. I called up RiverBar about 4 hours before the event (which was for 20 people) and explained what had happened. I asked if they could help in any way. They were so friendly, they said they were almost fully booked, but would keep the area in the back of the restaurant free for us. No fuss at all. We got there, it was actually cordoned off for us with signage so we had our own private area. Great food as always and drinks too. The party was for my friend who was celebrating the end of her chemotherapy treatment and she could not stop saying how lovely they place was and how special the evening was. I seriously can't thank the team enough, so friendly, so helpful, such a fantastic venue. I happen to frequent it on Friday lunch as I work across the road and I always love it, but now I love it even more. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!!

w We stopped for a casual lunch pre Commonwealth Games. We had a riverside table. My wife enjoyed her Japanese influenced salad and I loved my soft-shelled crab burger. It was essentially a whole crab in a brioche bun with pickles. A couple of pints of Manley's finest and we were very happy.

So I’m changing my 2 star review to a 5 star review. Had a narcissist queue jumper blatantly shove herself in front of me to order a 3 course meal and drinks for herself and 3 of her closest inbreds. I waiting patiently for the situation to self correct. It didn’t. Fortunately the guy with the beard handled the situation I put him in with a level of professionalism that doesn’t come around too often. Whatever you’re paying that guy, double it. Trust me when I say he’s your future State Manager. People make a business successful. Worth his weight on gold.

First brunch out in brissy, was told this place was good & it was totally packed out on Tuesday night, thats surely a good sign, so gave breaky the next day go. Staff were friendly. I had the poached eggs. Sour dough bread was good, eggs were so so, bit on the overcooked side. The meal was barely warm, that's 1 thing I truly hate, if it's meant to be served hot, serve it hot. Tomatoes were, well, shrivelled? Maybe it's how aussies have them? Not my idea of tomatoes with breakfast, if I could a photo I would. Bit of a disappointing breakfast tbh. I'll eat elsewhere tomorrow. Shame, as it's a perfect dining spot on the river front.

A moderately overrated bar located in an admittedly beautiful located along the river over looking the Storey Bridge. The price of the drinks, slow service and basic food options make it a low preference on my choice of Eagle Street Bars. If you want a good view, this is your bar. If you want great service, this is not.
