Came here last night after work for a drink and all the staff were really friendly despite being at the end of a long day/shift. The atmosphere is great and the drink choices are really impressive but the service is what makes me want to come back. Big thankyou to Pearl, her drink choices and knowledge as a bartender along with her friendliness really went a long way. Will be back for sure!

The design of Riverland and the food options available, is a little gift that keeps on giving. It's a near perfect hideaway in the city balancing felons with eat street markets. I popped in for a quick drink and ended up spending 10+ minutes frustratingly trying to order on the phone. For some reason they have disabled ordering through the QR codes but dont tell you that, all the checkout options just fail to load. The drink I did have was delicious

This riverside walk is absolutely beautiful. The walk is quiet and really picturesque. Right by the river you can imagine yourself far from the city. The lights at sunset are really lovely and the view across and along the river is fabulous. From the mangroves you wander through the botanical gardens and then on into the vibrant and extensive restaurant precinct. You can walk for just a few minutes or continue on along the river, under the Storey bridge and further along the boardwalk. Such a great way to spend sone time in the city.

My Favourite inner city bar in Brizzy. Fantastic view of the Story Bridge. Relaxed beer garden vibe with live beats that's not intrusive, great food from the container pop-ups and reasonable prices for drinks. Great for after work drinks or going on a date. I went to Riverland Brisbane with a few legendary friends and clients during my visit to Brisbane and loved the place. The staff, drinks, view and vibe are great and I noticed that lots of their food is Greek Inspired (if not completely Greek). I love this type of food on many levels and we had a totally epic time there. I want to spend a bit more time there on my next visit to Brisbane and a great place full of WINNERS. Love their work!

Love this little location. The attached "Street market" style food vendors are awesome. The Eastern European food stall in particular did lamb cutlets that blew me away. Very happy to accommodate for a coeliac diet with a 3rd dedicated gluten free fryer for chips etc to isolate the gluten. Great ranged of beers and other drinks on tap at the bar and a beautiful view over the river, can't fault it.

Riverland as a whole was a beautiful place. The riverside view of the lights is amazing. However the tables weren't cleared and we had to clear ourselves. I dont know whose responsibility it is. And I am sure that we just came at a busy moment. We got dumplings from Yum Yum East and they were delicious. I loved the hospitality of the lady at the food window. She was very enthusiastic and accommodating about the dumplings and how we'd like them cooked. They dough is a thick handmade dough which is very much to my liking. I like a thick dough. It definitely tasted fresh. They were also very juicy. All the dumpling has lots of juicu flavour. I appreciate this space. Lovely 9/10 and🥰

Edit. I have to update my review. Riverland reached out to me after this review and offered for us to come back. So we decided to come back and give it another go. I have to admit things were so much better. The service staff were now very friendly and the service was quick. Our drinks were perfect par one but that was promptly sorted with a smile. Also the extra step of firing up the heater when staff noticed my partner was cold was a nice touch. Overall a much more pleasant experience and we are glad that we went back. I was very impressed with the fact that management reached out to me from my review. That was unexpected. First review Average service and rude bar staff ended the good mood for today. It's not even rush hour and the attitude of the bar staff is beyond bad. Not impressed. Ordered a long Island cocktail and it was below average and for 20 dollars one would expect more. When we complained they would not redo the drink but offered the house wine instead. Won't be coming back anytime soon. One would think they would try a little harder in these covid times when they need people to come and visit. Thank you

Kind of tucked away but don't be deceived. This large venue boasts some of the best staff I've encountered in the city. Security helping clear tables and not afraid to have a chat and a laugh (Bailey, 10/10), bar staff are FAST and great at their craft (try Mel's long island ice tea!!!). Thee view and atmosphere is delightful! Would recommend for the start of any city nights out, you will love it so much you may not make it any further before they close!

Riverland has an awesome view, looking out to the Story Bridge, right on the Brisbane River. It is gorgeous there at night. I have only been here on a Friday and Saturday night when it was absolutely pumping with people. The atmosphere was great and we had an excellent pre-wedding drinks celebration the last time I visited with a group of friends. I think everyone has a good or bad experience in any bar anywhere around the world and it often comes down to the bar person you get on any given day. I've had good experiences here but it may vary. I personally wouldn't eat here because it gets so crazy busy. I wouldn't want to eat in among so many people, but some do and there are a number of street food kitchens to choose from at Riverland. Go for the drinks and the view and you shouldn't be disappointed.

We went late in the night when kitchen was closed. So this review is only about the drinks we ordered and the service provided there. We ordered a cocktail and a glass of whiskey. Both were good. The view from the outdoor seating area and ,overall, the ambience of this place is amazing.

Great place. Excellent views, good selection of beer, reasonably priced and if you're a smoker like me they have huts to go to so as you don't feel like a social leper. Great venue for a party. In saying that, if you have more than 6 people then outside isn't the best option as the seats are fixed to the ground (so it makes it hard to mingle with friends). Speak to them first as I'm sure there are other areas within this fine establishment to hold a party. We didn't eat other than finger food and it was nice and fresh. Staff were friendly and efficient (pretty rare these days). The band played the right songs for the atmosphere. If you're on Eagle Street, give it a go.

Overall this place is very good and great for catch ups after work on a Friday night. There was live music, the atmosphere was casual, there was a selection of food trucks and cuisines and the bar service was prompt. Prices are standard and we found that the meal sizes for all the food trucks were quite generous. The only thing that was surprising was that it was tricky to find a spot to sit/stand. Even though it seems like a big space, all the seats were occupied. We will be going back.

The location and fit out of the venue is gorgeous. The street food proprietors were friendly and the service from them was good. Unfortunately the bar staff were another story....... When ordering a cocktail I was told they don't make it anymore because their blender broke ( because there is no where in Brisbane CBD to purchase another blender right?) so not sure what to order I spotted some Malibu and asked what cocktails they make with Malibu - response was probably none and off she walked. A friend was also told a different cocktail she ordered wasn't available because the blender broke, and when she asked if they served X cocktail she was told no and directed to the menu by a different staff member. Still a great day due to great company but don't go there if it's polite service you're after. Very disappointing.....

The music was good but a bit too loud though, We were there around 9-10pm on a Friday night, so I know they were getting geared up for a big night, but the atmosphere of the place is a beer garden, not a nightclub, so I would have prefered to be able to hear the other people I was with.

Organised pre-Christmas Party drinks here. Rang up and spoke to someone and they were really helpful and accommodating, especially around the Christmas period. Staff were great, efficient and helpful. View is amazing and location is handy to the Valley or the city. Great range of beverages and options to choose. We had some of the food there from one of the four apparently separate vendors. Wasn’t cheap. Tasted good, but would expect better pricing from essentially finger food from a shipping container. $44 dollars for 13 chicken wings, 4 steamed dim sims and 4 vegetarian spring rolls. Overall, would recommend for a drink for small parties or groups that are looking for a unique spot to have a drink on the Brisbane river.

Riverland is a fairly popular place but it has never quite jived with me. Good beer options including local craft beers, a few food trucks so there is some variety there, but there simply are better options nearby. Even with the view of the river, there's a dirty concrete car park below the balcony so it doesn't really show off Brisbane's best asset that well either.

Great place for street food and drinks right on the river

This place is a kind of modern version of a beer garden. There are various areas to sit and all have direct river views towards the Story Bridge. Perfect for groups. There is a large central bar and several food stalls at one end, where you can order typical food stall street food e.g. Greek souvali, burgers, Asian at reasonable prices. The venue is mostly open air, with some cover. It has a nice vibe.

What an excellent spot for an Eagle street venue. Very good selection of local craft beers and wine, with a great long bar looking out over the river. This was pumping on Cinco de Mayo but the service never took too long. The food choices are based on who is there at the time, but the variety was good. The group we were with had Lebanese, American wings & fries, and calamari; all of which were great. Highly recommended.

Excellent staff. My friend had an issue from a previous venue and instead of just bouncing him no questions asked, they explained the process for appealing the issue. He couldn't get it sorted on the night, but he now knows what he needs to do before next time. Bar staff were also very good. They appeared proactive with their RSA obligations on a number of occasions, introducing water to people before they got to the point where they needed to be cut off.

Fantastic option for a casual drink with a couple or many friends. Was packed but it is Christmas and it is new. The food smelled amazing so can't wait to go back and try some of the tasty options on offer. Views are of course fantastic with the Brisbane River and storey bridge in view. Can't waot to go back.

Riverland was clearly not the kind of place that I should have gone. I'm going to give some positives and some negatives but essentially I had a bad experience here and I would caution you to consider other nearby options. Firstly, Riverlands advertises itself as a funky, casual bar with eat.streetmarket style food carts. This is kinda true, but really it's a bar with some different food options. When I went on a Saturday night it was packed full of people and there was hardly room to stand or move. My friend who was organising our function did try to book a table and was told that unless she put down a tab they weren't interested. There were a number of tables that had been set aside and that left very little space for people who weren't with a booked table (I don't mind that attitude towards customer service it just wasn't helpful to me and my group). The bar service was very good with a wide variety of drinks and very little wait time to be served. The loudness of music and "talking" of the patrons made it very hard to hear anything and I left with ringing in my ears for a few hours afterwards (Once again I don't have a problem with that). The live music was excellent - great song selection and great cover versions. The food that I got was chicken tenders and chips. It was not a great choice though there wasn't anything particularly wrong with it. Standing around to eat really did limit my options for dinner but I did consider getting something to eat on the way home. Finally the toilets. They were gross. Inside the cubicles was very wet with toilet paper all over the place. This is probably pretty standard for a Saturday night at many pubs but it was gross. The worst thing was that the bathroom didn't have a single drop of hand wash left and clearly hadn't had any for a while. This is why I gave it three stars and wont be back again.

Great location for some drinks. It is just next to Brisbane river and awesome city views. Good variety of beers and wines. It has a different concept for snacks than the other places around. Has outsourced food services to small vendors near the beer garden. 4 different vendors give a variety of food. Good part is the variety but not so good part is that these vendors have varying quality of food and don't carry proper invoices as not all of them have ABN. Submitting an invoice for taxation purposes maybe tricky.

Came here with a group of 12, seating is limited for large groups but we managed to find a spot. Drinks were fairly priced, and with a selection of mini street food vendors inside you'll be able to keep everyone happy with the food choices. The venue was quite hot, with fans installed but none of them turned on - not a lot of breeze comes through the joint because it's in the middle of two large buildings.
