Been several years since I’ve been here. I love what they’ve done to the place. The restaurant looks really grown up whilst still catering to all ages. Came here to eat the sides as opposed to a main meal and was impressed as it was simple fare done well. Great service, vibe and ambience. Will return.

FREE SALAD BAR BUFFET WITH MAINS! the main meals are very high quality, but the best thing is the service :) the staff i dealt with were all very friendly. especially the male server! shout out to JUSTIN for awesome service!! the salad bar isnt as good as it was before, but to be honest its just great they opened it back up. im sure the quality of the salad bar will go up as time goes by! all my friends and family very much enjoyed our dinner here. and they even have a vegetarian meatballs pasta which tastes great! so for that i give 5 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

We went to the Runcorn tavern today and it was the loveliest day I've had in forever. The food was delicious, simply perfect. The staff were so nice, polite friendly and happy to help in any way. Not recommended for catering events. The platters are over priced for the quality & quantity of food offered on them. Wait staff were slow & took only glasses (leaving plates & coffee mugs). Staff could've been more organised. Had a guest eat from the salad bar as the chef was 'unable' to make a non meat sandwich after the platters had already been served. Friendly bar staff, nice place but not as a catering venue.

Excellent Prices! Fantastic Food! The Runcorn Tavern provides a service for all needs and wants. From the extensive Bar, brilliant kitchen, delicious buffet, large gaming room to the wonderful weekly specials like this Mega Seafood Platter for two that fed four. You can't go wrong when selecting a family dinner or night out with friends. Highly recommend visiting this absolutely five star Tavern!

Always have a great time at this place.... i go with my friends for karaoke and the karaoke team always so organised efficient and super friendly. I can't sing very well but I always get the opportunity to sing a couple of songs every time I go. The crowd is supportive the staff are very friendly and security Are on the ball... Plenty of parking and you can grab some dinner from the restaurant first

Have Been here For Dinner With Firends Multiple Times. Staff and Service was Great and The Food is Amazing. Large Portion Sizes and Tasty Meals. Went here for the 1st time, I live close by and decided to come and try their award winning Parmagiana. Really enjoyed it, it's not the best in Brisbane for me but is very close to it, 2nd or 3rd by my rating but it was still fantastic. Obviously I am only 1 person, hundreds and thousand voted it #1 and I don't blame them. I absolutely love the salad & vegetable bar, so much good stuff, I love the all you can eat healthy food option they have for every lunch and dinner. I also went back the following night, the female employee taking the booking remembered me and my name so that made my happy. I am very bad at remembering people's names. I had the steak special, medium well with mushroom sauce, tasted pretty good. Once again absolutely loved the all you can eat salad & vegetable bar.

Had lunch here meals are your average pub lunch. The salad bar was a disappointment the noodles were mixed in with old ones probs frm night before cause they were 2 different colours & one was so stale & hard I choked it was inedible Crackers were also stale. Potatoes were undercooked.Desserts,Seafood & Pasta salad were ok. The cooks should sample what they’re putting out. The best thing about this place is the customer service the male server is always lovely.

Good place for Friday night drinks, usual fare of tapped beers and good price to match. Only issue is with the amount of rowdy patrons. Witnessed a few discriminating remarks made by certain patrons towards another man of colour, good on the security guys to put their feet down in this case.

Food was ok. Waiting was forever. Dirtiest place I've ever been. cups are milky dirty when received them. Very expensive . Buy $30 worth of chips they barely bigger than a small chips from McDonalds. Steaks comes try and hard .. almost choked myself. Food and quality of service does not reflect the price. Wished I could go back again just to see if I'm wrong but my heart is telling me "NO".

Very clean, helpful and polite staff members, great place for small or large group catch ups over lunch. Prices and food quality is good and choices are very affordable on any budget. * 👍More available choices to eat than what you pay for a medium size value meal at McDonalds. The gaming room (Pokies) is nice and open and not too loud from ringing, dingings or flashing lights. 👎Very easy access for the littles ones to escape to very quickly. The children's play room could be a little bigger with more available activities.(age appropriate) Overall, an ideal place to go. Its comfy and relaxing, air conditioning is perfect and if you're a smoker you are still pretty close by to all the action.

If you live locally, the bistro is very well priced for what you get. Most of the bistro meals come with salad and vegetable bar, and if you spend $30 you get a discount voucher for the bottle shop (6 stubbies of full strength Iron Jack for $10 normal price $17). The smoking area is huge with comfortable furnishings (better than most high end pubs and casino's). Very clean with friendly staff, great food, cold beer and our guests from Melbourne were impressed.

They have two sections of the building for food. The bistro and the bar area at the back. The bistro is very spacious and the weekly specials are what you expect from a good tavern. Hey hey. So it's been a busy week for someone who doesn't head out too much. So a couple of my aunts and uncle and I go to the runcorn tavern for dinner and a catch up. It has been a thing for years since my mother was a pure and we just kept going. Anywho the tavern has been a destination place for these get togethers. The staff have always been really good and friendly. And service has been good also. They have specials on different nights of the week. We went Thursday night which was steak night. 200g fior $17.95. Comes with the salad and hot vege bar. The help yourself bar comes with most main meals. Or if you just feel like going veg for the night you can just order the bar as a meal. Hope that makes sense. Anywho I had the gnocchi as a meal with the salad bar. The gnocchi was great. Soft and fluffy not stoggy and chewy at all. The steaks came out as ordered and there was a descent sized piece of meat on the plate with chops and a small salad. The service was timely with the meals despite having a large table that was in for dinner. So they did quite well. All in all it's a pub / tavern they have cakes and coffees. Full gaming room. A lounge area and a sports bar. Easily accessible should you need an elevator and not stairs. Thanks folks was a good night. Enjoi Cheers

We have weekly seminar at Runcorn Tavern's meeting room. Each time, the meeting room was well prepared with hot water for coffee and tea, and cool water as well. The chairs are all in good position. The staffs there are very kind and keen to help.

Look here's what you need to know about this venue: cracking private function, lovely staff, great parking. Only downside is that the hubby refused to take me for nuggets on the drive home but I guess that's not on them.

Had a lunchtime business meeting yesterday and my experience was truly great. The food was as you would expect but what really stood out for me was the service. I was working on my Laptop at the same time (hence business meeting) and had my plate too close to the edge of the table. Before I knew it I had accidentally flipped my plate off the table onto the ground, spilling my lunch everywhere. In less than 20 seconds the manager was there in a few more seconds 2 more people. They picked up the plate, the food, cleaned the area and delivered the another hot meal in under 5 mins at no charge. All this during a really busy lunch hour. This place may not fare well with bridezillas, but for a meal you're in good hands.
