I’ve been to the Sunnybank Pub a few times since the Reno’s and love it👌 I stopped going a couple of years ago because I stopped enjoying it. A friend told me about his last visit there so I went along to have a look. What an awesome surprise. The place is lit! The decor is pleasing to the eye, there are huge tvs and its really clean! The staff are friendly and happy - a good sign - and accommodating, the food is simply divine and the place has a good vibe. A big shout out to Michael, the manager there. Very friendly and welcoming. He’s served me drinks a couple of times and loves a laugh. Very funny man. His staff seem to love and respect him as well. Good times!

I was with a large group of friends and the general feeling was the food was very good, better than a lot of places. Really tasty and tender ribs, delicious pork belly the haloumi was good quality and tasty. The only complaint i would make is the desserts are bought in frozen product and not the best. The staff were friendly and helpful, overall very good experience.

We recently had a group dinner at our local pub (the Sunnybank Hotel). It has recently been refurbished and looks fantastic. Most importantly the Assistant Manager Michael was extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. I would like to thank Michael and his team for making our gathering most enjoyable. Small and quaint, tidy and clean. Perfect for travellers passing through or needing to attend the private hospital next door. Beds comfy, close to everything you could need. Enjoyed the stay!

My family and I really enjoy dining out at the Sunnybank Pub. The renovations are impressive and have given the place a great vibe. The meals are outstanding and easy to order either at the counter or online, the staff are efficient, friendly, courteous and professional and I love the extra large TV’s. I’d like to complement one of the managers in particular, Michael. He has been on duty a number of times we have gone in, and provided excellent service. I’ve seen him pour drinks, serve food and clean up spills which indicates it is not beneath him to get out onto the floor. Further, my parents-in-law are profoundly deaf and he made an effort to communicate with them while they were in the pub, not something hearing people who are not familiar with Deaf culture or language find easy. A lot of the locals seem to know Michael and appear to be on friendly terms with him. With all the great food places in Sunnybank I rate this place highly.

Honestly I was amazed, the food was amazing, the people were kind and helpful, the room I stayed in was clean and well tended to, really the only thing I could say negative about the stay was the inability to park my car in front of my room, but it's made up for with the rather large car park right near the rooms. Love the stay, love the place 💯

I have honestly not seen such an underrated hotel. I loved the clean toilets and the pretty wall fountain. But nothing beats the food! I absolutely loved my gnocchi and a beer at such a humble price! As a vegetarian I was happy to see that almost all options had the option to swap out protien with tofu. The lady who served me was lovely and the projector screens are of pretty good quality. My partner ordered a steak that was perfectly done and even his mash potatoes tasted amazing. I would 100% come here again!

A great venue, the Motel rooms are old, but well appointed and clean. The food is excellant and they have great menu choices. The Service is spot on, very friendly and helpful. Michael went ot of his way to help out with a traumatic experience of a family member. Well done and thank you.

After renovations I'm really impressed. Good food, good beer and friendly staff. Only thing I can't understand is why they didn't renovate the mens toilet near the big screen in the public bar. It always stinks and looks terrible. Tell your cleaners to get in there with the bleach and get stuck in.

Nice new dining area, good cocktails for the adults and mocktails for the kids. A little pricey but you get 20% off meals if your booked in one of their rooms aswell. The vegetables were fresh and delicious, not McCain's frozen veg. The soy and garlic glaze chicken wings were crispy and delicious.

If you're looking for cheap accommodation this is the place to be. The beds are to die for. I've had the best sleeps ever. The rooms are pretty simple. Has a mini bar a microwave tv table and chairs what more do you need. You can order room service from next door. Plenty of parking. Pop next door to the pub and pokies. The staff are AWESOME. I love this place.

A pleasant surprise for a pub meal celebrating an in-laws birthday. While a few mistakes were made to orders (such as items being unavailable despite payment), the overall vibe and food quality was excellent.

Not a bad place to drop in for a quick feed. Went yesterday for lunch and had the self proclaimed "best ever steak sandwich" it was ok, not the best, the salad was a bit old and the egg was far undercooked and not a fresh egg. Chips were great and garlic bread was also great. Good staff, quick service, clean tables and well priced.

Wife and I Only go here for a dinner and quick play on the pokies but if you want a good honest pub meal with polite staff and great service. Then this is the pub for you. I can say without doubt it's better food than a lot of restaurants and doesn't carry the ridiculous price tag either.

I love this place, it also happens to be my local. All the staff are great people, and they are always ready to help whenever needed. The restaurant does a nice meal and the gaming options are excellent. There is also only a handful of places in Brisbane that have Keno Racing , and the Sunnybank Hotel is one of them. 👍

Tired and basic but very comfortable. Cheap accommodation with great bed and pillows. The pub is great for a meal and games. Live ufc video. I like the fact it's an easy commute to Brisbane by bus or car and a huge shopping complex adjacent. Air/con fine but shower a little small. Never usually leave reviews but we had to on this one. Came in last Friday night with the girls and had one of our best night outs ever!! Food and drinks was wonderful and beautifully priced. Karaoke night was great and bartender Jordan was the best!!! The girls loved her so much! Will definitely come back.

Inside the place looked clean and tidy, when ordering of the food you needed to line up at the bar and was a little slow, however that was due to a staff member training and I guess being nervous, it would have been good if they had a support person with them until they could handle it. Food was good, it came out together for our table. Serving sizes were huge and I only had an entree, my group had mains they were twice the size, reasonably well priced. Calamari was cooked to perfection! Staff were friendly and went beyond their call of duty to take photos of our group for us. We went on a Monday night and it was very quiet.

A couple of minor attitude hiccups with 2 staff members that was rectified by the lady who works in the gambling bar. Food was excellent as usual. My brother in law and his wife are impressed with the standard of the bistro. We will go back again. Oh, the coffee needs a review, not the best. Seems it needs another hit.

The team are legends Chefs are awesome, one of very few ALH pubs we've been to where the chefs make their own sauces! The tartare and salad dressing are incredible! My partner is always asking for extra salas dressing on the side and will pinch the salad from the kids meals😂 The Steak and Barramundi meals are always perfect. Lovely friendly service. Debbie one of the managers always loves having a chat with the customers making you feel really welcome as do the rest of the team but I'm not familiar with their names... yet! We'll be regulars for as long as we're in the Brisbane area.

Some time ago I had a poor experience here and left quite the review. But since then I have moved back in to the neighbourhood and have frequented this pub since. This is a great local, the steakhouse is reasonably priced and the food is very high quality, the atmosphere is nice, and the staff are accommodating and kind. I look forward to attending UFC events at the Sunnybank Hotel and would reccomend it to friends.

We (my wife and I) visited today for lunch. We make a point of trying a different hotel for lunch every week on my day off. Today we had the half kilo chicken wings with sticky soy sauce, the 250g Lunchtime Steak with chips and salad, with a garlic sauce, and the Mrs had the Chicken Louisiana. We actually felt a bit ripped off I'm sorry to say. The food was average, ok at best. The wings were ok, but the sauce was unpleasant. The steak was very nice, and the chips were ok, but the sauce.....c'mon guys, surely you can do a larger serve than that? My wife commented on her Chicken Louisiana being very dry, and the quantity of cream cheese/garlic filling was about what you'd need to fill a coke bottle top. Very pleasant staff and atmosphere, and well priced ice cold beers.

Power point in bathroom not working. Positive though able to arrive for very late check in. Towels could be bigger but that's a personal issue being large person. Slept well in double bed. Comfortable

Wasnt too bad of a stay for what we paid. Was a bit weird that after hours reception was over in a club/pub. Luckily who ever i called at our time of arrival was really tuned in and could hear rhat we werent happy to be going inside. The room was beautifully clean, the bed was the softest we had slept in for 2300km, had such a peaceful nights rest it was hard getting out of bed the next day.

The Mediterranean stuffed chicken was very small. I asked to change mash to chips so ended up with no vege. Just chips and miniscule chicken. The lamb rack was supposed to be served with a jus. No sign of it. The sweet potato mash was very lumpy. Won't return.

Go here on regular basis food good and reasonable priced with Shop a Docket . My only complaint is early evening attracts families and kids tend to run riot. Other gripe poker machines located next to restaurant which means people going to the pokies trek through the restaurant all the time.

Be sure to find Gabe - he usually works the bar on the gaming room side of the hotel. He loves conversation and takes a keen interest in customers lives. No matter what your troubles, he's happy to listen for as long as it takes until he's certain he has helped to make your evening a happy and memorable one. He may seem reserved but don't be fooled! Once you build up a rapport, he comes out of his shell and reveals his inner loquaciousness. The SBH is a great place to share a laugh and unwind with a wonderfully diverse range of locals, and some truly awesome "regulars". Extra props to Joel, a regular, and a genuinely good guy who greets everyone with enthusiasm and warmth, making you feel instantly relaxed and at home: the very embodiment of the SBH. Don't come here looking for trouble, it's not welcome. I recommend SBH's Graziers Steakhouse as one of the best places to dine with friends and/or family in a relaxed, accommodating environment. Meals are delicious, lots of menu options available, & excellent value for money. Really glad that Karaoke is back on Friday nights! Lots of fun, laughter, dancing, and singing along to familiar tunes!
