I booked 400 Rabbits room for my 21st birthday party. Olivia is an amazing event manager who had no problems answering my questions about the event, she really helped the event run smoothly and helped make the planning process a lot less stressful. Special shout-out to Jesse the bartender. He is the best bartender I’ve ever met. He was super kind and helpful, and really made the atmosphere for my party awesome. The room I hired was also super affordable, which was awesome as I paid the entire bill myself. All in all, a great place to book for a party with amazing staff who went above and beyond to make my night amazing!

This place was amazing & sure has changed since 25 years ago. A beautiful venue it is now.. Very open & spacious. Very luxe. The bars have everything you need. It reminds me of the old Arena with all the different areas to host different types of race music (drumb & bass, happy hardcore, hardcore, trance etc). Although downstairs In the dungeon smelt like wee, I couldn't be down there for too long!

Love this quirky place. There is a bar for everyone. Wednesday night Drag Queen bingo is free and hilarious. What really makes this place is the staff. They are always happy and very helpful.

This hotel has improved massively from the old Elephant and Wheelbarrow that it used to be called. It is bright, welcoming and much nicer inside. Staff appear to be well trained, approachable and friendly. In particular the front bar headed up by supervisor Jacob who runs his front bar very well and him and his staff are polite and quick to serve and get rid of any line ups quickly. Nearly always can approach that front bar and get served almost straight away. Well done Prince Consort :)

If you are looking for a venue to truly let your hair down and throw a party, the Prince has you covered. I came here for company drinks last Friday and not one member from our group was dissatisfied. The service was very impressive, the manager, I think his name was Alex? (Short lad with glasses?) Provided some A-1 customer service and even organised having the entertainment play my favourite song! Thank you so much for hosting us!! We will be back :)

With a covid lockdown curveball, the team were super accommodating and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. I organised the event but am stuck in Sydney lockdown so I couldn't be at the event myself. This place is a rabbit warren - but in the Alice in Wonderland sense 😂 we actually got lost at one point here on Friday night, there's so many different rooms and levels! All beautifully decorated and the staff were all really friendly and welcoming. Will definitely go back

The Elephant Hotel makes absolutely amazing meals at very reasonable prices. I often order the Schnitzel lunch plate with a drink and they always get it perfectly right. My only note would be regarding the outdoor eating area. It's not the cleanest and there are often pigeons jumping on the tables and all.

Great for lunch and prices are reasonable. Lunch time is busy with office workers but the service is still pretty fast - worth checking out

Great Lunch Menu. The $15 rump steak has been a bit hit and miss but once you go a few times you can generally spot which staff member is working the grill and choose your meal based on that. Having said that the staff are always great and it's hard to complain about anything with the amount of food you get for $15.

please dont go this place. the hostel is dirty, and their room is worse than a prison cell. they play very loud music until very late st night. the girl at the counter table is nice. but they have a no refund policy. so, dont go there and there are many decent hostels in the city.
