Really decent experience. It is a renovated pub in the center of Brisbane. Inside is rely nice and it is pretty central to alot of hotels. 🏢🏢🏢There is also a parking lots ($7 all night) just in the next street. 🚗 The food was delish & plentiful. 🥗🌯🍟🍔😍Probably the only thing I could comment was on the staff-she made a mistake and charged extra, then refunded too much, so had to take back some money. Apart from that-the evening itself was really nice!!!!

Beautiful wedding venue, the perfect size for a smaller wedding. Ash was so wonderful to work with, her communication was quick and clear, she answered our million questions leading up to our viewing. After the viewing she was quick to get the proposal to us, and didn't put pressure on us to decided on the spot. The quote was reasonable and, we would have gone ahead with our wedding at the Trans, but unfortunately our guest list exploded. I would have 100% trusted Ashley to ensure our wedding was perfect.

I recently had a wedding here and was so happy with it! As a wedding planner, I truly value professional and well-organised wedding venues. When working with them, the entire experience, start to finish, was excellent. The food was excellent, the set-up and room was gorgeous. The team worked very hard to ensure the space and experience was exactly what the couple wanted and it was executed beautifully. They especially went above and beyond with a beautiful antipasto set-up for the cake, which was a cheese tower. 10/10 will be recommending again.

Great upstairs venue to hire for Trivia! We’ve hosted a number of events at the Transcontinental in the private upstairs space. It fits 90 guests seated at large trivia tables well, and is well equipped with a large bar. Sound system is fantastic (given a recent upgrade) and overall staff are always excellent to deal with. Great venue!

A huge entertaining venue! Can be booked for Wedding receptions! Wheelchair entrance is available & restroom! Outdoor tables & chairs as well as a very grand indoor facility! Open for lunch & dinner! It closes at 10pm! On Monday night's Professional Musician Dan Munn holds a singing competition to give new artists a chance to achieve their goals! This goes for 4 hrs! Called the Guilty Rd!

This review is based on me having a steak special. Salad was passable. A singular cherry tomato sliced in half and a cos lettuce quartered (still in quartered shape) drizzled with some dressing. Saving grace was the steak which was cooked medium rare as ordered. Mushroom gravy was mid range and chips were mid range too. Service was good and facilities are kept clean and presentable

A very good night out. Friendly staff and always happy to help. They lost a star because only 9 people are permitted in the smoking area at any given time due to COVID restrictions. This is absolutely fair enough, but when 5 people decide to spend their whole evening there, it makes it very difficult to stay within the guidelines. Otherwise a very enjoyable night out.

We had our wedding here in May 2019 and we had a fantastic experience. Jordi helped us through the planning process, was very attentive, and made sure the night ran smoothly. The food was delicious and the space itself is beautiful and easily personalised. Our guests still talk about what a great night they had and I’m so glad we made the decision to have our reception here. 10/10 would recommend.

Great city pub, with great pub food. Lunch specials are $12.50 for a choice of chicken schnitzel, crumbed barra, or a steak, with chips, salad and sauce. Beer is cold, and there is plenty of seating. The pub does get busy from about 12pm on Fridays though, so if you do get there after that time, be prepared for a bit of a wait to place your lunch order at the bar.

Hands down has the most beautiful waitresses I've ever seen. A small brunette beauty that had the most amazing smile, and was super nice to everyone in our private event. Eye-Fillet steak was pretty awesome too!

If you want salad with your mains, you have to buy a side salad. They do however for some reason which i'm sure is only known to them, provide a few small leaves of cos lettuce sprinkled with a minimal amount of grated parmesan cheese. WHY? Stop it! At least invest in some tomatoes and onions. That dessert they call panacotta is definitely NOT anything resembling panacotta. It tastes great but resembles a bowl of yoghurt. There are a few positives. The service is good and the staff are friendly.

This is a very famous Brisbane pub. Right across the train station is a popular place for many people. The food is as good as any pub. The setting is fun. The staff are friendly. The function from its great for large groups. The catering for functions is good.

Had a lovely experience for my 21st at the Transcontinental hotel. The staff were awesome and the food was delicious! Everyone I've talked to after the night said the venue was perfect and shared the same opinion on staff and food. Also, when the night was being organised Ashley helped us out tonnes and made it really easy. Thank you guys heaps, definitely recommend!
