Our family went to Christmas lunch at the Warmer Tavern and it was fabulous! The food was great, such variety and fresh and tasty. The staff were happy and helpful especially Lisa who joined in our crazy fun and made us feel like we were at a large family Christmas. We would highly recommend the Tavern and we will be doing this again (pandemic aside).

Shared two meals today with friend at lunch. Filo chicken with salad and chips on concession was $15 and coffee and carrot cake was $5 as special. My meal was excellent and friends chicken meal was also excellent. Excellent service and staff along with Covid controls. Has gone back to being a great tavern for meals.

My wife and I are regular patrons at the Warner Tavern. The food is always great and the staff are always friendly and very helpful. It's never a problem if we have questions about the menu and if something is dairyfree or not, which just helps our dining experience to no end.

Been to the pub a few times, each time I feel part of the family. Some staff no my beer and that's very welcoming. A Pleasant Surprise... It was lunch time and I'm always in search of the perfect steak, so today we found ourselves at the Warner Tavern for the very first time. What a pleasant surprise... my Reef & Beef lynch order turned out to be an explosion of flavour that my taste buds were still rejoicing many hours later. My medium-rare steak was cooked perfectly and it was so tender that you could have cut it with a butter knife. The calamari was amazingly soft with a truly unique flavour all of it's own. The tempura prawns were lightly battered with deliciously crunchy tails and the chips were the perfect combination of light and fluffy on the inside while remaining beautifully crunchy on the outside. The scrumptiously rich gravy was thick full of aromatic slices of mushroom and the Caesar salad was chocked full of flavorsome bacon, parmesan cheese and croutons. To be perfectly honest, this would be the best cooked and most flavorsome meal I've had the pleasure of enjoying in many, many years. To finish off what can only be described as the perfect dining experience, every staff member, from the lovely young lady who showed us to our table, to the manager who took our order and followed up later to make sure everything was to our liking, along with the bar tender who served our drinks and perfect coffee, all were friendly, professional, served us with a smile and I believe any restaurant would be proud to have you on their payroll. Thank you... We'll most certainly be back. 🙂 Yum.

After first making a booking & asking for a table with little extra space as one party member has broken ribs & is using an assisted walker, they not only reserved a large table with ALL the space around it, they set up each set for the perfect number ordered! I don't know why people talk bad about Taverns. Maybe it's the drunks that go there, but it's definitely not about the Tavern itself! The staff are lovely, the drinks are perfect, the food was super filling (I should've taken more pics), the atmosphere is friendly & welcoming. We also called ahead to ask if pool tables would be available, which they provide a "free play" table for the afternoon. This was close to the best family Christmas we have in years! Made a booking online for Sunday lunch. We were greeted and taken to our tables and given menus. We ordered at the counter but you could also order with your phone with their tap and pay Gizmo in the centre of the table. We then had to line up separately to get drinks. Then also had to return to the bar a third time to get water and glasses. This was a bit of up and down, not really relaxing and didn't make for a relaxing lunch....especially as we had to put our masks on and off, on and off, on and off each time we got up from the table. On the upside the food was delivered really promptly! We did have an early booking at 12 noon and when we arrived there was hardly anybody there. The Tavern soon filled up with lots of Sunday lunch families filling large tables. The food was excellent! Served hot with salad that was fresh enough and lovely balance of flavours. The steak was cooked on the char grill just as was ordered. For $19, rump steak, chips, salad and sauce was a good deal! Most enjoyable meal. I would certainly would recommend and go back if over this side of the city again.

Quite a good tavern. Lots of choices for food and drinks. Food was good and well priced. Food service was really good, we had a group of about 20 people and the meals all came out the same time and quick. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Normally a pretty good feed, but on Saturday night this is what was served up. Looked like a roadhouse meal you would expect to be served across the Nullarbor. Very disappointed, it didn’t taste much better than it looked. Last week we ordered the same meals and was absolutely amazing. The kids room is a bonus here, the best tables are outside. As inside feels very claustrophobic, as you can not see any of the outside world. They usually have a few good drink specials.

The last time that I dined in this wonderful little Tavern was approx 10 - 12 years ago and I remember that in my own terminology “They Ticked All Of The Right Boxes” 👍🏻😉👍🏻 Today’s Lunch; The Warner Tavern in my opinion - Quadruple Ticked All Of The Right Boxes. The welcoming staff as you step just 1.5 metres into the front door, greeted you like 😳😳😳 HUGE WOW FACTOR 👍🏻😉👍🏻 Lisa (The Manager on Duty) was at the Meals Counter taking our Orders & Payment, etc I am a HUGE believer in Leading by Example Lisa today done exactly that!!! 👍🏻👍🏻😉👍🏻👍🏻 All of Lisa’ team on Duty today; wholly & individually replicated Lisa’ Customer Service skill set to an absolute Tee 👍🏻👍🏻😉👍🏻👍🏻 In today’s world of literally millions of Fast Food outlets, Cafe’s, Restaurants, Hotels, etc, etc - Customer Service has by far needed to become far more paramount to succeed in business, along with Top Quality Food providing outstanding Value for Money. If you cannot provide the above, watch your customers / potential customers walk out of your door & never return (remember there’s millions of other places to eat). My Lunch today was; • 200gm Eye Fillet cooked Medium Rare (cooked to perfection) • Chips & Caesar Salad (Delicious PLUS) • Pepper Sauce on the Side (mouthwatering) Plus 2 x Sides consisting of; • Garlic Prawns (Absolutely DIVINE) • Beer Battered Onion Rings (I was searching for MORE as they were taste bud friendly PLUS) Compliments to the Chef is truly an understatement. This Chef deserves a Medal for EVERY MEAL produced in this amazing Tavern Kitchen. The ONLY thing that I could truly fault at Lunch today..... Was the fact that my Big Buddy mate & myself (I’m known as Little Buddy), both had busy schedules & couldn’t stay any longer than we did (2 hours). If we could’ve stayed longer, we truly would have stayed for Dinner. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to eat the food we ordered as we had to leave, this was the first time we had been to Warner Tavern for a meal, it was my 61st birthday. When we arrived, I checked in as required for the covid, we were told that we had to check in I dividually, I informed the reception/door staff that this was not the case and we can check in each other on the 1 check in, they tried to argue the point that I could not be done until I showed them how to do it, I was then informed that they would be around to check that I had checked in properly. The food was reasonably priced and arrived speedily.

Ate here tonight for the first time. The meals are decent in size, I had the rib fillet which was cooked to perfection. The kids meals were free being Thursday and the kids loved them. The staff are very friendly, special mention to Maddy who seated us, she was very forthcoming with everything we needed to know being first time diners, she's a keeper. Met a friend here for lunch during the week. They had the most amazing specials for $10. We had the special.... chicken stuffed with sun dried tomatoes and camembert with chips and salad. Was delicious. We then indulged with coffee and cake for $8. Huge slice, your choice from the display, served with whipped cream and a scoop of ice cream. Well worth a visit. Staff are very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will certainly be back.

Friendly staff and the sports bar is very large and open with plenty of screens to watch your favourite sport. The restaurant side is once again open and inviting with good food and a playground inside which keeps the kids occupied. Has a large outdoor dining area if you are that way inclined

I used to LOVE going here! However the head cook must have changed (a while ago) and i can deffinatley taste it and not in a good away. The sports bar side is good and they always have a special going on beer and Sam is always super nice and helpful with any queries. In my opinion if you want to go some place some that has a pleasant feel and good basic food then this is the place for you. If you wanted to order something adventurous off the menu or a chef special I wouldn't recommend.

My wife and I visited the Warner today, while waiting for work on our vehicle. We're started with a coffee, which was made well, but unfortunately with Barista cardboard box milk. Not good. Warner Tavern is our little ‘local’ to visit in the spur of the moment when we feel like going out for a quick bite to eat. The staff are amazing (especially Lisa 😋) which is the number one reason we enjoy going back, prices are very affordable and we have never had a meal we weren’t happy with.

Rona is an asset to the business! We are always greeted with a warm smile, and the most friendly attitude. She remembers our toddlers allergies, and always goes out of her way to ensure his food is safe. It never feels like a hassle, and she makes dining out, which is normally a stressful experience, a very pleasant (and now regular!) one.

Had dinner here last night! The service was pretty good, everyone seems pretty happy and are meals came out very fast, which I thought was pretty impressive as we thought they were rather busy. We ordered a garlic bread, Caesar salad with calamari and crumbed pork (or somesort). The meals were pretty average, extremely run of the meal type pub food. The salad was kind of soggy, though the calamari seemed fresh buy greasy and the pork according to my partner had some good bits and some bad bits, for $57 we probably won't go back. But on an end note the service was friendly which was refreshing.
