This is a pleasant casual dining cafe that does indeed seem a great ‘meeting’ place for runners and cyclists. I had the ‘paleo’ breakfast which I thoroughly enjoyed. Forgot to take a photo! A friend ordered this cherry cafloutis which looked yummy! There is a nice atmosphere in the cafe and it’s lovely and warm on a crisp morning. Coffee is good too!

Really good food here and a spot for the kids to play. We have enjoyed the burgers, chicken sandwich, chicken wings, donuts. The jalapeño poppers were a bit bland and are the only item so far we have tried and not liked. It gets busy on weekend evenings.

I have been to this place 3 or 4 times.lts a wonderful place with great atmosphere. We have always enjoyed the meeting room! Great place for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a few drinks! Recently ordered through menulog and had issues with menulog delivery - the staff at the meeting room went above and beyond to fix the issue despite it being not their fault! Highly recommended

It a below street level bar and restaurant with a mixture of indoor and outdoor areas. You can find a space for a large group or a quiet corner for a more intimate conversation. It is a beer and food lovers paradise with a changing selection of craft beer and specials that go well with the fixed menu. There is ample and easy parking across the road. They have special nights when items on the menu and at the bar are cheaper. I've been here at least five times in the last twelve months and always pleased me.

Solid local pub, with craft beers and a standard pub menu with a few extra types of bbq meats. The ambiance is nice and distinct from a chain restaurant. The food is okay, and does the job for a local pub, but it isn’t a destination for any one dish in particular. Value for money is okay too, but not exceptional. I like this place when I can’t be too bothered to go far from home, and I’m not too fussed about what I eat.

Great place for groups. Solid bar style food that will keep you full. The range of beers is quite decent and most beer drinkers will find something to their liking here. Great indoor and outdoor areas for small bookings or big groups. Keep in mind that inside can get a bit loud so prepare for that type of atmosphere.

I don't know what atmosphere is there which make the place so lovely and welcoming. It feels like home and I feel so calm even most of the time its so noisy😁 Food is a bit expensive but high quality and big portion. I've tested steak and schnitzel. Steak was great schnitzel was so so. Anyway it is one of my favorite places for Friday nights.

A nice menu with a variety of options including burgers, salads, pub grill favorites and pizza. The selection of beaers is great with rotating taps of craft beers as well as few mainstream brews. Venue has a great character and the kids room would be a treat for parents.

If you're looking for a kid-friendly bar, Meating Room definitely ticks a number of boxes. Good food at reasonable prices, decent selection of craft beers on tap (with more available in bottle/can), and a great selection of spirits in addition to a kids play room, multiple TV's showing sport (drop down projector screen for big games), and bright and friendly staff. This is my go-to for a catch up with a few mates over some beers, bourbon, and burgers, as well as my venue of choice for dinner out with the family.

It's not a really great aptly named BBQ joint. Nor is it a gay bar.... But they do have great food and great beers on tap. The coffee is good as well I thought, but I also think McDonald's coffee is good so take that as you will. Overall despite a misleading name I do like this place

The food is so yummy, the restaurant is beautiful and neat and the staff are very friendly. They often have live music and there are several heaters for people dining outside. The only downside I can think of is the range of beer isn’t great at all. Apart from that, 5 stars!

We picked the Meating Room for a small group to celebrate my friend’s birthday. We had such a good time. We arrived late Sunday afternoon and there was live acoustic music up until about 6pm. We ordered dinner which was delicious and the service was so friendly and quick. One of our friends had to leave early and they made sure her meal got to her even quicker. There was a trivia night on as well which was really professionally hosted and lots of fun. Also, the staff were so helpful when it came to bringing out the birthday cake and some really nice tea to finish off the night. It was a great way to finish off a the weekend.

Wasn't impressed with the very basic cocktail list, about average price. Tried the meat platter for two- expected the ribs to be pork as it wasn't specified, the beef ribs weren't good. Everything else was cooked well, flavour wasn't great. Best thing was the chicken wings, which were still average.

The beers on tap are normally pretty decent. Food used to be better, but it's still OK now, could definitely do with a little more attention if they want to keep up with the competition. It's pretty kid-friendly, which is why we keep going back, but would appreciate more healthy meals for the little ones.

Great staff, good vibes, awesome kids playground and menu. Our adult mains were decent but we played it kinda boring with our menu choices of salmon and squid. The kids shared a serve of bangers and mash with a side of veg and they totally loved it. This option was almost the entire reason we came as it's so hard to find a kids menu with something decent on it. Big thumbs up! The staff who served me went out of their way to make it easy for us with the kids and were happy to accommodate my keto dietary requirements - which was so nice! They really were fabulous and I heartily recommend the place - but get something fun like a burger if your waistline can accommodate it ;)

Hidden gem that's brought quality pub-grub to the 'burbs and established a strong following through solid, consistent service. Menu and beer/wine selection is good (lots of local options) and prices are reasonable, although the tab quickly builds after a few rounds. Can get crowded - with lots of families and young children - during early evenings on weekends, so aim to arrive a little later if you're hoping for a quieter, more grown-up atmosphere.

The Meating Room definitely lives up to its name, their meat is AMAZING! I loved their beef ribs and their pork sliders but honestly I can't stop thinking about their Mac and cheese fries which I had as a starter and they were sooooooooo good! Everything was cooked perfectly and the staff were all friendly and didn't leave us waiting hours for our food. I sat outside which was very quiet and a great place to hang out and have dinner with friends. I will definitely return again soon especially because I found out you can have your dog in the outside area. So I can't wait to have a doggy date soon 😁

Lived in Weston for 3 years and and never knew about this little gem tucked away near Coolman Court. Located under the sport centre it is an awesome little place for dinner, lunch or a cheeky drink in the evening. The food menu is nice and extensive and got some good specials through the week that is worth exploring. Good list of beers and large number of spirits available as well. Been a few times but never remember to take pictures finally got a couple of pictures of my burger and crankshaft. So good! 4 stars because went during covid but they were not setting up properly for 1.5m social distancing. 😬
