Highly recommended.. nice place..staff friendly.. Today i have order one chicken schnitzel for have here and one chicken burger for take away... when i start dinner...i see that is beef burger...the manager send the new one set for free to my hotel after i call for asking... the manager is very polite...i am very happy with their services...i will come back...

In an age when half of Grill’d’s items are vegetarian, there HAS to be better options in a place attached to a 5 star hotel. Very disappointing. I like my meat dishes sure, the bar here is great, but come on - two pizzas or wedges?! Very ordinary. Please fix this glaring hole in an otherwise great place.

I was a guest at the hotel tonight and I went to the bar for some food. I was greeted by a very hostile patron yelling profanity at the staff. The staff behind the bar defused the situation with great proficiency and class. I went on to enjoy a lovely meal and a couple of glasses of wine. To the staff members on tonight … well done you handled the situation perfectly and to the drunk middle aged woman who acted aggressively and was completely out of line you should be ashamed of yourself!

Reasonably priced for well-presented lunch which came in good time with good service. Pleasant atmosphere on what was a quiet day. Had the Marinated Tuna Poke Bowl and Coconut & Lime Poached Chicken Salad. Poke met expectation and was a generous serving, chicken salad was satisfactory but a little wanting in terms of complexity of flavours. Complementary still and sparkling water on tap was a nice touch.

Ostani is located on the ground floor of hotel realm. It has a nice fireplace in the centre of the room, great atmosphere from afternoon till late at night, while mornings are quiet and peaceful. I personally would not recommend having breakfast at ostani simply because the food is not hotel quality and it’s very expensive. A babycino costs 4 bucks which is just froth! pancakes are generous on the plate, but it doesn’t taste good. To be honest the presentation is nowhere near hotel standards. You’re better off going somewhere else and queuing up for much nicer food and coffee especially if your visiting Canberra. Venture out and explore what Canberra has to offer because it’s completely different nowadays than it was 5-10 years ago.

This place is a lovely cozy bar and lounge to escape the cold Canberra nights. With the decent food and awesome atmosphere we were pretty impressed. The decor was nice and staff were very friendly, the pizzas we ordered were pretty decent but took quite a while to come out. Seemed like they kitchen was under stress while the place wasn't at max capacity.

Ordered a chipotle chicken burger, cheese and bacon burger and calamari. The cheese and bacon burger is not too bad but the chicken burger was mediocre. The chicken meat is dry and tasteless. The chips tasted good and flavorful. The calamari was average. The prices are okay for the portion as well.

I organised a work function at the Ostani and I was very pleased with the service and the venue. The bar was well appointed and the management of our event and account was very efficient. We were able to pay for the bar tab by company credit card upfront and they reserved tables for us in a great location. The atmosphere in the bar was great and it has a sophisticated look and feel.

this place is buzzing!! looks to always be busy after work on most nights! so if you are planning to come as a group (or a family) for dinner - best to make a booking or get in early! food is slightly on the expensive end but i haven't had a dish i haven't enjoyed

Good quality fair at moderate prices. The pizza oven is gas and not charcoal unfortunately. Which means although the food is good it's missing that special sauce. Pizza and pint night is on Tuesday and is definitely worth a look.

Trendy bar that is super chillaxed. If you are getting food make sure to check out the specials board as you can get some excellent food. Had the crispy skin pork belly and it was tender, juicy, with a great crackle (and not fatty at all which so many places stuff up on).

We recently hosted a function for 50+ at Ostani and were super impressed. Thomas, Isobel and Lauren were absolutely fantastic and did everything they could to make our function seamless and a huge success. Ruby and the rest of floor staff were also great and extremely helpful. The food was delicious and a they had a great range of wines and cocktails - will definitely be back :)

Cool local bar that sets an easy precedent for after work drinks. Spacious bar with indoor/outdoor flow down to a tee, Ostani is a big venue ideal for big groups with a big of taste. Two outdoor areas, an indoor bar and restaurant, and adjoining covered area make for a light and friendly community feel for this well frequented joint. The beer list has strong game hosting local Canberra craft breweries in clouding Bentspoke, and your regular multi nationals - appealing to all drinkers. The wine list is a bit more comprehensive with a great range of Aussie reds. All drops are mainly drawn from the local vineyards and South Australia. The crowd is a bit mixed with an obvious loca set. Older drinkers and family groups are pretty common, and Ostani is the kind of place that hosts plenty of parties. Go here on a sunny day and enjoy the good company and beer on offer!

If you love Happy hours after work on Fridays and your office is nearby then this is the place to be. It had been fun time destination for most of Fridays and sometimes even for out of office cocktail dinners and Tap's. It becomes crowed from Thursday night, and the crowd is pretty decent, you can even bump into some celebrity and you wouldn’t know as everyone else looks the same there. Best thing that I like is about the food, you can tell your taste and they customise it as your likings (unless it’s not heavy add-on on top of what you have ordered). They have good selection of in-house spirits. Very neat and friendly staff, but sometimes it takes time to pull their attention. You might even be missed if not in self-help area and sitting in some corner. Have also seen some events hosted there such as birthday parties, so is kids friendly as well. Have also seen an ambience of a sports bar on some special events with big screens. They have also changed their indoor and outdoor spaces in last couple of years. Winter time is classic to be there, especially with their choices of heating systems. Crowd and ambience is completely different from what you would experience from the bars and restaurants in and around Kingston area. Though the ambience can’t be compared with the ones in Kingston foreshore as they have lake views.

My partner and I stayed at the Realm Hotel for 4 nights and our experience was so good the first night that we ended up enjoying 3/4 dinners at Ostani. The staff are wonderful and so accommodating! All cocktails and food are delicious! The ribs are the best we have had in Australia! Highly recommend visiting Ostani when in Canberra!

Enjoyed dinner and drinks here 2 x nights in a row - Tuesday & Wednesday. The food was good - would recommend the salmon & noodle salad, and the rump. The fire place inside created a cosy & warm ambience. Management on Wednesday night was very attentive and took his covid duties seriously. It was a bit lax on Tuesday tho with limited distancing or registration enforced & they couldn’t find our booking (but lucky there was a spare table!). Breakfast at Ostani's We had breakfast here as part of a room rate at Realm. Ordering is the same as for outside guests. You order at the bar but are not charged for your breakfast. The food was pretty good, but the service was aimless, impersonal and very slow. There were a lot of floor staff but I'm not sure what they were doing. Food and especially beverages were really slow to be brought out to guests. For what you pay, this should have been a better experience.

Inside/outside take your pic. Large menu and nice food. Good selection at the bar, plenty of staff to serve customers. My only negative comment is about the soft cover furnishings. I realise these are hard to clean, especially in an outdoor environment but i can't bring myself to sit in stained furniture. The entrance is quite prominent and the view is quite good. More parking space will provide a more handy experience.

Thd decor is very nice, the lighting intimate and relaxing. The new fireplace is really inviting and a great new addition. The seating is designed to have something for everyone, there are large tables for big parties along with stools around the fireplace for one or two. There are in my view limited smaller tables available and I ended up sitting at a large table for six. I ordered a vodka martini and a glass of red wine both very nice. They excell at cocktails. For my meal I ordered the steak sandwich and a entree of olives. I dont like the fact that it all comes out at once and think they should consider doing separate entrees and main meals. The olives were nice and a large serve. I didn't enjoy the steak sandwich as it was dry and overcooked. The fries were lovley. Staff friendly and attentive.

A nice resturaunt that is good for mature families or adults. It is popular for people going for an after work drink. No kids meals but there are items like fish and chips that will do. The food is of a high quality but not the best, and set in an expected medium price range. It's a good resturaunt for you and your friends or older family to go to. So make sure to check it out!

I went here with work colleagues for a lunch and ordered the lunch veggie burgers Mushroom and Haloumi burger (minus the mushroom). It came with lettuce, tomato, beetroot and some cucumber yoghurt and a side of chips. The haloumi was fried too much and was chewy. The burger itself was bland and could have done with a spicy kick of hot sauce or sriracha mayo. The hot chips were ok as was the lemonade (watered down). Menu had limited veggie options and was priced at par with decent restaurants in the city. The ambience was good but I would sit on the couch rather than the high stool. Might give it another try.
