The lunch time specials for schnitzel is worth the visit. They have a few variations of it which is a few dollars more but the plain one for $15 is still good. The steak is very hit and miss, out of the all the times i’ve ordered it i would say less than half the time it’s been okay. The other times it’s been burnt and that’s the only taste that comes through. This place has a good and friendly atmosphere and is usually clean

Well. It was a fantastic night out. Great service by the bar staff, great meeting the locals. Live music was on point, the DJ afterwards had everyone dancing. The place has not changed in so long. Awesome place! Went there on a quiet Sunday afternoon for lunch and a few drinks. The Rusty Yak ginger beer on tap is really nice (it's got a kick!) The staff were really friendly, really helpful. They really looked after us even bringing each of my mate's Kilkennys to the table after letting the head die down and topping up the glass at the bar. The food. The food I wish I could say better things about. The chips are good. I got the Chicken Schnitzel with BBQ pulled pork on top and melted cheese on top of all that. The chicken wasn't dry, the crumbing was crunchy. The pork was tender and the mozzarella was melted perfectly, stringy and a bit golden brown. But I just didn't get much flavour from it. It might have been my fault for not putting salt on it. Mozzarella doesn't have heaps of flavour in general, but the BBQ pork, while very tender, didn't taste like anything. Nothing in the breading of the schnitzel (that I could discern). So it's definitely a great place, with great staff. I'll definitely go back. But I'll order something that's not a schnitzel.

We go to PJs every fortnight and have been doing so for a long time. We love it there, the atmosphere and the schnitzel and service are always great. Tonight though, couldn't believe how rude the person at the bar was, asking us to check in 2 seconds after we walked in (more like barking an order), then insisting we verify we had done so by showing her our phones. Admittedly she got us on a bad day, having just buried my father. She wasn't to know this of course but perhaps as a person in customer service she should be more cognisant of her role in not making assumptions about people. Be a bit more gentle next time love, we are happy to check in and do whatever we need to do but perhaps in a pretty much covid absent community we don't need to jump on people and then make them feel like criminals. Perhaps customer service isn't for you.

It was a great night .. the 3 peice band that was playing were so good ..good to have live music again ..think the band was called Monica's Moore trio . Atmosphere was great ..look forward to seeing them there again. Food was good. Service was good.

Thursday night is Karaoke night and it is a blast! Free entry, free to get up and sing and if you put on a good show you get a drink voucher! The drunk voucher is only enough for some fizzy but it's still a good feeling to get one! The ratio of men and women is a little off but most of the patrons are just there to have a good time and everyone is very friendly!

Had an acceptable meal here. Edible; but there are better places that are comparable in price. Most annoying thing was having to wait about 45 minutes for a meal that, to be honest, was clearly taken from a freezer and deep fried. That was just a bit ridiculous. It wasn't busy at all. Heard one of the staff complain that there was no one in the kitchen when she went out to get am answer to a question about a dish from another patron. Obviously kitchen was cruising :-)

The pub is quite good but has a few annoying issues. The pool tables are in good condition but have only 1 unbroken que and no chalk. The band always seems to play extremely loud even when the place is not crowded - this ruins the mood slightly.

Amazing. Very wide selection of food on the menu, I got the Southern Fried Burger and calamari and was blown away at the portion for the low price. The food was some of the best food I had ever had and the calamari was made better than my local seafood shop makes it. Definately recommend for family lunches and get-togethers.

This used to be a rough and ready pub in the Tuggeranong burbs. Time has changed the clientele as well as a the menu. Lunch menus range from $10 to $12 with steaks or parmas on offer. The pub has a certain charm, the service however is lacking since it is basically a dump the plate in front of the diner sort of attitude. Food quality varies so does the portion sizes. Oh and tomato sauce (ketchup) costs $2!

Good enough when it’s actually open. Beware that on Saturday nights PJ’s is often closed for private functions. This is annoying and unnecessary; there’s space at the side for a roped-off private function which would still allow the main bar to operate as usual.
