Would have been 5 but the Wagyu beef dish as part of the set menu may as well been bitten out of the cow in the paddock... blue..didn't state that on the menu. Very unfortunate after 6 other great courses.

Nice space for drinks or meet up. I love the decor and it's nice that they don't play super loud music so people can actually chat with friends instead of screaming to each other. The staff were nice and attentive. Price are reasonable.

Fantastic bar with a great atmosphere. Customer service was great and the selection behind the bar was very pleasing. I found the food menu a bit over the top for a bar/pub type venu. Mac and cheese with truffles and tuna caviar is not what I was hoping for when we sat down for a casual catchup with friends.

We booked a party of 8 here left night for my friend's birthday. The place is absolutely gorgeous, the food and cocktails were incredible, and all the staff were so attentive, patient, and knowledgeable. We all had a wonderful time. Thank you for making my friend's birthday so special!

Queenies is a absolutely divine. We have been here on many occasions - during the day, early evening and nighttime and the experience is always consistently brilliant. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable, polite and helpful. Food is fantastic as are cocktails and the wine list. Great atmosphere - very eclectic furniture which is comfortable and funky. The whole interior design has a unique feel and transports you to another time and place. They make their own bread, which is scrumptious, especially when paired with their wide-ranging sandwich list (highly recommended!). Not much else to say besides highly recommend and probably one of our favourite places in Canberra.

Came here during lunch time and immediately loved the character of the place. I ordered a latte and the smoked brisket sandwich with shoestring fries. The coffee was great; however, the meat in the sandwich was obviously not as advertised. The menu says it was smoked for 16 hours, but nothing about that sandwich indicated that it was smoked for even a minute. It was more like a pan-fried skirt steak to be honest. Overall, the flavor was ok, but again I was expecting smoked brisket. The staff was super-friendly though, and that would be a good enough reason for me to come back.

Awesome experience. We had a personal room for our dinner and loved the share plates. They were a little short on staff but they worked hard to ensure we were well looked after :)

It was such a captivating experience, with the stunning 1920's decor, the on theme cocktails and great music this is different to any other venue in Canberra. The staff are lovely and very well trained with the food and wine. The wine list is impeccable and extremely creative and unique. The menu boasts local produce in the most interesting and tasty way. They created a customer experience rather than just dining. Thank you Queenies, Will definitely return !

Had a nice time there. But a couple dishes aren't the best. Eggplant was a bit too hard, maybe because of the flour. And the pork kimchi was too dried. Sorry. Would still go back and try different dishes though.

Yas, Queen! Such a good sharing menu- the halloumi needs to come with a warning though, or at least the staff should have cut me off after the second serving. YUM. Excellent cocktails too, and love that they are named after women of excellence. Staff at Queenies are top-notch and it's so refreshing to step inside an interior that hasn't fallen into line with all the other beige venues in Kingston. When can I move in?

I’m not usually one to leave google reviews but I really loved my experience at Queenies! I ordered one of their beautiful cocktails, the fried chicken and eggplant chips! Delicious! The staff were warm and attentive, well versed in the gluten free options. Really appreciate such a beautiful space and great team! Thanks guys

A group of us went for a mid-week dinner. We had a mix of share and large plates including the king fish and roast chicken. All dishes were super delicious and well presented.The service was fairly attentive although the waitress wasn’t able to answer our questions about some of the ingredients. Sadly we didn’t get to try dessert because the kitchen closed at 9pm (and the waitress didn’t tell us). I guess we’ll have to go back to try them.

The moment you walk in to Queenies your breath is taken away with the amazing decor. Between the stunning bar, the train cart and the artwork around the space you’re transported to another world. The food is incredible, drinks are amazing with an excellent selection of wines and cocktails. Staff were welcoming from the moment we stepped in and looked after us the whole time we were there. Will 100% be returning again!

Not only was the bar gorgeous, but the bar staff were also amazingly friendly, and knowledgeable of their menu, which made us feel very welcome! In particular we loved Lincoln and a women with pixie cut brown hair whose name we didn't get! Will 1000% be returning with many more friends (unless it's fully booked out by you!), definitely set to become a Canberra classic!

Great food, great cocktails and great service. What more could you ask for?! The food is designed to share and I definitely recommend the fried chicken and eggplant chips! The menu was a little confusing surrounding the cheeseboard and charcuterie board as it looked like it was one board not two seperate ones. Would definitely recommend though and I look forward to returning.

Spent an absolutely superb afternoon at Queenies today with my wife, grazing on outstanding plates of food, and in exceptional and comfortable surroundings. The staff are attentive, very friendly and professional and a special thanks to Chef Jack for some of the tastiest food I have had in Canberra in the two years I have lived here. With a great selection of beers, Gins and Whisky as well, this will now be a regular event for us. Thank you Queenies!

Went with a friend and had an incredible experience! We had the Charcoal Lemon Myrtle ½ Chicken, pandesal, eggplant chips, and a desert. Well priced food and breathtaking bar. Definitely would go back!!

A perfect addition to kingston! after living locally for a few years it was a god send when Queenies popped up. After a few minutes to admire the grandeur of the bar(not to mention liquor selection) we were sat at a table by the windows. As we were instructed the menu was to share my friends thought it was best to let the kitchen do its thing and had the chefs decide on 5 dishes. All were perfectly balanced and delicious with the standout being the lamb belly and grilled broccoli. BUT! leaving the best to last the drinks menu was a standout! A well curated modern wine list (finally at the reach of us shallow pocketed). We had some truly stunning natural wines and stunning cocktails. (jacqui behind the bar was a hoot!). Cant forget to mention the non alcoholic options for drivers they actually throw in something a little different! It’s a must visit and welcome addition to “old kingston”
