Went there on Wed evening with friends and colleagues. It was quite fun, especially the card games. They have got xbox and other games as well, though we didn't really play. Food was good, we ordered most of the items from Small Bytes, Kilobytes and Megabytes menu. Vegetarian Momos and Nachos were delicious. Excellent customer service. We will return for sure. Recommended for groups.

Being the only Video Games and Pop Culture themed venue in Canberra CBD, Reload Bar & Games is an amazing place to enjoy drinks, great food while racing your friends in Mario Kart or disputing the Champions League final in FIFA. Reload's drinks menu is filled with original and themed cocktails and also a wide range of colorful themed shots to get your night started. Not only that, they have a nice variety of tap beers and top shelf spirits. With specials every day, there is always something new to try regardless of the day of the week you're visiting. Reload is a great place to spend the night with friends or meet new people and have a dance, enjoy great food and play some games as well.

Fun and quirky bar. If you like gaming then this is the place for you. A nice inbetween style bar with drinks and different gaming consoles so you can play against your friends. Located in the city, it is easy walking distance to other bars and restaurants. They also have some food available for a reasonable price. Although they didn't appear to have a happy hour when I went they did have 2 for 1 gin and tonics.

Absolutely one of my favourite places to go for drinks and play some video games. The owner and bar staff are great people and really friendly. Even the patrons are generally very sociable and will share gaming stations or play together with unknown people. Always had positive experiences there. Highly recommended.

An awesome cozy bar! We went on a Friday so 2 for one gin with mixer, bargain for $11. We really enjoyed playing Mario kart on the Nintendo switch.. Lots of consoles for everyone to play on and good music too!

Such a unique bar experience! Love the video game themed drinks and the games available to play. Some games were in the middle of renovation during my visit which was a bit disappointing, but there was still a great selection of games to choose from. Will definitely visit again

If you're into drinking and video games then you're set for the evening. Welcoming staff and a friendly atmosphere starts off what will be a great night at Reload. Patrons are competitive, but typically happy to help if you're new, or not at their level. Drinks are reasonably priced, beer is available in pints, and the brilliantly named Falcon Punch is delicious. Go to Reload, have a great time, you're welcome.

Reload is awesome sauce. Theres so much going for this place. Great themed drinks menu, more than affordable prices, great music and more games than you could ever want to play. The thing I love about reload is the crowd, most of all. You can go and play a retro arcade game with a mate, you can have a causal drink, you can have a big night and a dance. Which ever you choose, it all seems to happen side by side in harmony. I don't know how they've pulled it off, but I rate this as one of the best bars in Canberra because of this, it's comfortable and relaxing and has always catered to the many different moods Ive been in while going out, without ever disappointing due to a lack of 'something'. Check this place out! You won't regret it.

Unique bar in Canberra CBD. We had a similar bar in Brisbane but it closed down. It's good to see a bar like this operating and offering very good ammentities to its patrons. I was impressed by the amount of gaming systems and how well maintained they were. When I visited it was early in the evening on a Thursday, they had some drink specials starting later that evening and it was relatively quiet

Massive fan of Reload Bar to start my Friday night out in CBR. I have recently been heading here to have a game or two of Mario Kart, perhaps a drink or two (they have iconic game related themed shots/cocktails), and some dancing (yes there is a dance floor, which also doubles as a Jenga space..and they have board and strategy games). Staff are super friendly and open to music requests on Friday nights so I've been having a blast dancing to my fav jams.

This video games bar often has a live DJ and has frequent special events. Great for drinks, dancing and, of course, social gaming. You'll find a variety of gamer favourites and party games - there are enough stations for around 18 to play. Reload draws a friendly clientele - the atmosphere is supportive and often excited. There is more room at the bar and a good dancefloor to bust a move. The bar plays host to a range of hilarious and nerdy cocktails and shots based on video game references - like The Fatality (from Mortal Kombat). The consoles generally stay in the same place but the games do change. They also have a selection of board games but your space to play them is limited. It is a video games-focused bar after all!

Love the selection of board games and the vibe earlier in the night. It was great to chat wth friends over beers and boardgames. Then they turned the music up so loud we couldn't talk and turned off the lights so we couldn't read the instructions on our game. If they intended to drive us out, it worked. They don't seem to understand their niche.

Reload is a great bar, not just for gamers (though if you enjoy a little gaming you'll love the place). Aside from the free multi-player gaming stations, the video game themed drinks menu, the big screen showing olag from within the bar or streaming twitch, and the gaming focused events schedule, the place simply has a great, friendly, comfortable atmosphere and fantastic staff.
