Booking required and the setting and relaxed vibe justify reservation. Decor is stimulating, music is funky and view is amazing.... Great place to chill on the docks. Coffees are affordable (5$) and creamy. Bus to Cullen bay available, walking distance to city ... Great for wedding party and/or date.

Love the atmosphere and location, so great to see the diversity of fish. Amazing beer selection, with some unique options. Pizzas are pretty ordinary, the toppings only covered about half the area of the pizza. Pretty unimpressed with that. Would not recommend the pizza. Really dislike how large the smoking section is. Smoke wafts EVERYWHERE and does ruin the experience as it smells bad everywhere.

I worked there during the dry season. Kitty and Mulga are great bosses. The atmosphere is friendly. I had a ball working there! Decent range of beers on tap that regularly change. The burgers always got compliments. It has a working carousel ride (free), pinball ($1) and video machine (20c) to keep the kids happy.

The burgers are here absolutely amazing, do yourself a favour and try the pulled pork it's so good! Drinks are decently priced and range is good. The venue itself is super fun and a great wet season staple with its beautiful storm views and big fan.

On this visit (I've been here a lot) the food was average. I got the salmon and I'm not sure that it actually was salmon... The staff were not very helpful which I found a little disappointing. But I won't let this experience stop me from visiting again. It's a funky place, normally has tastey food and the location is fantastic.

This place is my fondest memory of Darwin even from years ago. The men's toilet is quite humourous with a one way mirror at the urinal. More importantly, it's a lovely open space on the dock with all the sailboats. A great place for a few beers any time while the sun's out.

Had high expectations great atmosphere, views and great selection of beers but big downside was waiting for our meal. Positive they lost waited 30-40 minutes before asking where our meal was, 10 minutes later it arrived 👎🏻 We watched other people Who came after us around get their meals. Mentioned to waitress was disappointed it took so long to get a small pizza. 🙁

Love the vintage/carnival vibe here! The breeze from the lake was very calming and soothing. I ordered the pull porl burger and it was so moist and yummy! I also ordered the big bag of shoe string fries and it was way bigger than I had expected. Still good and well worth the money though!

Great food and friendly staff with a unique carnival theme (I think). Lovely view off the deck to the marina with fans to move the air around. Very short drive from Darwin's CBD, making it a must stop if you're in the area. Be sure to try the sweet potato fries, one of the few I've had that are done right.

We visited this quirky place for lunch. Really nice atmosphere and great options for both indoor and outdoor seating. The views to appreciate the water front was also really awesome. We ordered the Matt Baker and the Big Cheese. Food wise it was super tasty. Mark down was only due to the length of time waiting for said food, but it's only a minor point. Would recommend to go for a try

How could you not like this place? It is well set out and clean. With out a doubt it is unique. The male staff member who served us was friendly with a genuine smile. The beer was great as was the pizza my mate and I shared. It was a pleasant place to have a few singing syrups while catching up with an old mate. Well done crew.

Hilariously incoherent spot! Haha. Great for pizzas and drinks, and the occasional local event. Wander in past the bizarre eyeballs and carousel, find a seat and check out the changing light over the water as you get slowly drunker on alcohol and great vibes.

Lola’s is a fun bar with a huge range of beer and ciders on tap (I was really impressed)! The kids, 11 and 12, enjoyed a soft drink with us while checking out the amazing location. Lola’s is truly unique, with rocking horses, tricycles and sweet carousels making your visit all the more enjoyable. My kids also loved peering into the water below and spotted a number of large fish. We have vowed to go back to taste their burgers before we depart Darwin!

Good food and good feel for a Sunday session. Ordered two burgers and a caesar salad, mistaking served two caesar salads but that was fixed very quickly. Food was well portioned and satisfying with good flavours. We sat inside because outside is a smoking area. It is a pub with a kitchen, after all. Still very pleasant with great views. Would recommend if you're looking for easy to understand and good quality burgers, meals amd pizzas with a few drinks. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Thanks for a lovely experience. The smoking is all that put us off.

Great marina side burger place. This place does a few good burgers, kid friendly and has a fair few options for beer! As a non-smoker and most places catering for non-smokers, it is a bit unusual for 1/2 the seating (and arguably the best) to be smoking section. It's quite a juxtaposition being so kid friendly. There are a few games and small rides, but they have been broken for some time, they might be for decoration, but I've observed a few people losing $1 coins and the following crying from a child as the ride is broken. Either fixing these or a sign would ammend this issue. Overall, I've been here 5 or 6 times and will be heading back.

Beautiful venue with unique fittings, we ate on the outer deck which catches a beautiful breeze and is conducive to great group conversations. A relaxed vibe with a majority of staff appearing to be back Packers. The place is clean, meals well presented and good sizes.

I used to live up in Darwin and really wish something existed back when I was around. It was really refreshing to see this type of modern quirky bar and really reminded me of Bali. The circus carnival theme was really cool. The mix of indoor and outdoor seating was great and the burgers were delicious. I offered to buy this Steve Jobs figurine that was in a window but the bar girls didn't seem to know what I was talking about.

AWESOME decor and carnival theme! There's merry-go-round horses everywhere you look. Locals know this as the old Buzz Cafe, which had been closed for some time, but the new owners have done a fantastic job breathing life into it and giving it some character. Great selection of beers and other drinks. Not your usual Coronas and cliche brands. Great for functions too. Not so good if you want a proper meal as they mainly serve small burgers and entree sized dishes. You'll need to book in advance for groups as it gets busy and you may end up having to split your seating. Beautiful view of the Cullen Bay marina from pretty much anywhere in the restaurant too.

Beautiful sea breeze, fascinating decor using old carousel horses etc just love the upcycled seats and views. I'll always come back here on every visit to Darwin. Meals are generously sized as well so if you're eating, bring a healthy appetite!

What an amazing place to go for drinks or food, perfect views across the jetty and great for families with kids as there are lots for them to play on!! However it does get very busy so you might be waiting a while for food!! Feed the fish whilst you wait in the crystal blue waters! It’s dog friendly too

"Unique New York, Unique New York (For all you Anchorman fans). That is the one word that comes immediately to mind when thinking or experiencing Lola’s : Unique. Incredible circus/carnival/fun themed decor, with part of the outdoor area extending out onto the water of the beautiful marina, a really great spot for an afternoon beverage. Their is a unique selection of drinks on offer also, and the burgers are rumoured to be great. Put it on the list, unique, laid back, you won't see anywhere else like it.
