We were on the 10th floor which we were able to go to the club lounge.
The breakfast there was a good variety and had canapes between 5.7 at night.
Roberta and Tee were so lovely they were so helpful and friendly.
Our room was very clean our beds were great although the pillows were a bit hard otherwise everything else was superb.
Hopefully we will be back again soon.
The restaurant was good the food was excellent.
The Hotel is close to everything and only a 15 minute walk to the Dock.

Check in and check out was a breeze. Room was spotless clean, spacious with amazing views of Mt Wellington. Comfortable bed and pillows. Asked for baby cot & high chair and it was ready in the room at our arrival. Special thanks to Book for the daily house keeping.
We were even given late check out due to sudden flight delay. Staffs are always attentive and helpful.
The only thing I can fault is the daily breakfast. It was the same everyday. By day 3 we were bored of it. Just wished the menu changed daily.
Other than that, every thing else was fabulous. We will definitely be staying here during our next Hobart trip!
P. S.Quality Hotel in the centre of Hobart. Restaurants, bars, concierge, all that you would expect from a major chain. Rooms are spacious, modern, luxurious with touch pad controls for just about everything (drapes, blinds, air con, lighting, etc.) Good quality everything. Room service was prompt, reasonably priced and food was good. If you are driving you will need to use their valet parking (at about $28 per night) and at first I didn't much like this system but once you realise that you can ring down and arrange for your car to be retrieved in advance you can avoid the annoying 15 - 20 minute wait that you face if just going down and ordering your car at the door. Bars etc. seem to be a popular place for locals to party on Friday and Saturday night.

The location of this hotel is second of none, only few minutes walk distance to pier. Lots of shops & restaurants around. The facilities are almost new, so many wow facts when we opened the door and walked into the room. Room view is brilliant. Lobby staffs are nice & friendly.
Everything of this place are worth 5 stars to me, except 'The Deck Restaurant'. I'm very sorry to say the food standard of this restaurant is far from it supposed to be. We had ordered few main courses Angus Steak (Medium), but all of orders are very much overcooked 1st time. The outside of the steak was burned like charcoal. We had it retuned to the kitchen, unfortunately the 2nd round wasn't much better. The waitress served us is a such lovely girl,she asked us the feedback &wait until we are ok with it. We said 'ok' only just want to relief her stress. I was very surprised we were not along that night, another group of customers complaint the same issue like we had. The rooms were excellent along with good view, we all had great sleep. Had breakfast at Core the next morning, it was average but we couldn’t ask much at that price point. Came back to the bar after a day of hiking and had a few drinks, the mocktail was delicious and the staff (Vicki if Im not wrong) was very polite and attentive.
We were pleasantly surprised by the red pocket envelopes from Preeti upon checkout, she is a great asset to the hotel.

We booked the Crowne Plaza for our first nights arrival in Hobart. I chose this hotel because I knew it was quite new, location was central and the reviews were very good.
We were not disappointed, met by friendly staff and we were given a complimentary room upgrade. The room was very clean spacious loved the modern decor for this hotel. The bed was very comfortable it was quiet everything was faultless.
The following morning we had breakfast fresh fruits, the Pineapple was one of the best I’ve had in ages. We ordered Vegetarian omelettes which were very nice.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided after our 6 day road trip around Tasmania we would book in for our last night in the Crowne Plaza again. Being central you can walk around quite easily to the nearby attractions. So if you are looking for a nice clean modern hotel with great customer service and reasonably priced this is a gem. We would love to return next time we visit Hobart.
