Last trip past for work, I noticed that they have camping facilities, powered and non powered.
They also host live entertainment from time to time.
I have not eaten there yet, however locals recommended it to me.
The bottle shop might not be the biggest, but it's big on service and carries the popular beers, wines and spirits.
Staff very friendly.

L. R.Only camped here overnight but great peaceful spot off the main road, $10 a night with bathroom access - really clean with great hot showers. Perfect for an overnight stop before heading to the Rocky Cape National Park for some excellent hikes
D. M.Tavern is a lovely stop off if traveling to the northwest. Clean, nice lunches. Always a plus when the locals turn up.
L. B.Attended a wedding reception, the room was set up lovely however they didnt have any water for people to drink. No bottles or water in the whole tavern? Like really? Had to get a glass of ice and wait for it to melt. Other than that great staff very helpful and friendly

They were super busy but yet still brought out our meals in good time and got everything right first go

Greeted by Julie. Very friendly. Booked powered site for 1 night out the back of very clean tavern. Grassy area. Amenities being shower/toilet/laundry.....Lovely meal enjoyed in tavern by the wood fire.

S. L.This ordinary looking country pub produces sensational food. Even though it's a small pub located on the highway between Burnie and Stanley, the menu would not be out of place in a good city restaurant. We loved our meals so much that we went back the next night. Our fellow diners enjoyed their meals too!!

And i could see the locals enjoying there Saturday arvo flutter on the horse's was a popular pastime for many in the area. Overall a good spot to stop for a drink, good country style meal or a flutter on the horses.
