An impressive selection of gins, whiskeys and spirits. It was quite hard to choose. Atmosphere was very noisy so difficult to have a conversation.

Wonderful gin bar!! If you love gin and want to try everything Tassie has to offer then this is the place to visit! We tried several different Tasmanian gins separately and as part of their four gin tasting platters. Strange Omen Hopped gin with pear and Taylor & Smith Gin with orange were favourites. We’ve since heard good things about their cocktail menu so we’ll no doubt be back!

You could easily walk past this place without seeing it, but you should definitely go in. Lovely atmosphere and an absolutely huge range of spirits. It wasn’t too busy at the time so the bartender was making special requests. Loved it!

Got a home delivery cocktail during the 2020 social distancing times (so the photos attached to this aren't the venue). It was fantastic! We would highly recommend everybody do this to support a local business in these difficult times. The venue itself has a great range and a classy vibe, and their huge range of spirits (check out the photos of their enormous wall) is great.

If I could I would rate higher - a must have experience when you are in Hobart. With a variety of drinks and staff that are so knowledgeable all your needs will be met here. We went for casual drinks and Ash was able to provide information on each of the drinks we tried and even assisted with getting something special when I didn't know what I wanted. 12 months later we hired the venue for a private event and again Ash, Seb, Fi and the team were just incredible - amazing food and the drinks again we could not fault. TREAT YOURSELF and go experience the range of drinks and a chat with Ash!

Tuesday Tapas and a cocktail are a perfect mid week experience. The tapas were fresh, tasty and cater to most dietary requirements. The drinks list speaks for itself and each cocktail is made with both quality ingredients and love! Great value for money and a lovely space to chat with a small group of friends.

Hidden away just up from the Whaler (other side of the cinema) this special little bar is an absolute treat. Definitely a place to go.if you want to spoil yourself or a great spot to finish up with a dessert spirit. I had the best finish to an absolute ripper of a date night and the "drinks specialist" (in quotations cause she's awesome) was so lovely. I look forward to a few more nights here. I'd recommend the whiskey old fashioned. It's top notch.

Great place for a cocktail in Hobart. I'd recommend this place for a drink when you're heading into Salamanca for a night out or on your way out of Salamanca for a night cap after dinner. Great selection and a nice leather couch sitting area if you have a group and can get it. They often have some live music events so worth having a look on facebook to see what's on.

Probably the bar in Salamanca at the moment. Amazing selection of spirits and a quality cocktail list that focuses on doing the timeless classics well rather than butchering them with chocolate or sweet, fruity liqueurs. Great place to sit and chat with a good friend or beautiful woman whilst slowly imbibing quality alcohol for hours on end.

Society Salamanca is a great little bar tucked away just off the main Salamanca dining strip. Very chilled vibe within the bar, with a variety of starting options. Great spot for post work drinks, with an impressively stocked back-bar! Keep an eye out for bao bun night.

Incredible range of Tassie whisky and gin, with Friendly, attentive, laid back, knowledgeable and passionate staff. Checked in advance about their opening times as we were arriving later in the evening, and they set aside a table for us, made sure the oven was ready to do some baked brie when we showed up, and had a great chat about local whiskies and their house made tonic.
