Cavernous pub space located off Salamanca place going right though to the back. These a while wood, brick and beer theme going on here. It feels like a beer barn but not in an alarming way. There’s a big range of alcohol available here from a largish bar. They had no difficulty supporting our needs. Nice music playing including a good R & B mix at one point. Nice sweet potato fries as a snack. Nice staff here too. They were pleasant and efficient. A good place overall. Bravo.

The Brick is warm and has mellow and calming lighting with friendly staff and a robust menu. There are special deals for certain days and quiz nights on Tuesday nights. The Brick has a good range of cocktails and made well. The Brick has good quality food with good portion sizes. The Brick has a bar, outdoors area, and inside restaurant area.

Food here is pretty good, especially the lamb ribs. A little crunchy on the side and soft inside. The place get pretty crowded at night though, it was all booked out after 7pm. Should get yourself a booking if you're coming during the peak hours.

Great place for $12 beers... If that's what you want. Average range of draft, nice seating, view the the back Plaza limited staff. High ceilings open space, good for groups, if you want to pay the price. Overall it's OK with a premium price. Indoor and outdoor seating

This is a great place with awesome life music. The duo singing were awesome and interactive, even taking song requests. Although we didn't eat the food looks yum especially the pizza. They had a good range of beers on tap. Pirate life IPA was very good, I recommend it of you like a hoppy beer. There has outdoor seating area which us under covered and plenty of indoor seating. There is also an area with a couch and fire place which is perfect for a cold or rainy day. They service is average. Overall a nice place to stop by if you are near Salamanca. Great for large groups too as there are large tables and booths.

What a great place to relax and enjoy a great tasting casual meal. My partner ordered the beef burger with chips and I ordered the herb crusted schnitzel with chips and salad. Everything was cooked well, presented well and tasted really good. I would definitely recommend this place.

Pretty bulk standard pub. Staff were good at what they do. Kitchen was a little slow based on how busy the place was. Food was OK to good. Pizza's were the highlight being wood fired. TV's were on showing both codes of football (AFL/NRL).

Restaurant prices for mediocre pub food The Brick Factory has a good atmosphere and a decent beer range, but the food is disappointing. I've eaten there twice now: First time - The beef burger patty was completely cold (but not quite frozen in the middle, at least) Second time, more recently - The roast pumpkin and beetroot salad came with 6 green leaves (I counted), a few pieces of beetroot, and the rest was soggy pumpkin (more likely microwaved than roasted). The menu range is great, just not well executed. I'd recommend a drink there but maybe eat somewhere else beforehand

Stopped in for a quick bit after a recommendation from a local shop owner. We had pizza which was wonderful but the shop owner recommended it for the burgers. I’ve never had a bad pizza here and they do half price Wednesdays. I’ve also had many of their appetizers, my favourite was the gnocchi & cacciatore. The atmosphere is a great, warm, sports bar vibe and good for any day of the week for lunch or dinner or just to have a few after work drinks.

Two stars out of five.Took two visitors there for lunch today after making a previous booking. Nobody to greet had to go looking for someone. Absolutely no hospitality what so ever. $110.00 for mediocre pub food left us feeling short changed. For us three ladies.............a very blokey hangout!

Casual vibe fantastic for after work drinks and food, a get together with friends or a meal out with family. Great for sports as well with a variety of channels playing, though the screens could be bigger. Menu has a good variety of food, the pizza is great value and boasts local gourmet ingredients - I recommend the Huon Mushroom Pizza, the béchamel sauce paired nicely with the tender mushrooms. A drinks list to die for with an impressive local and international offering and plenty of locals on tap. Went here after a long day at work and it was comfortable and service was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend, not a tourist trap.

Great atmosphere. Great food. Great drinks. One grumpy staff member who acted like taking the food and drink orders was too much effort or I'd have given 5 stars. But the rest of the staff were lovely and friendly and more than happy to have us there carrying on and having fun.

Food and was good. The waitress was lovely and super helpful. The manager (?) with the beard was somewhat condescending to us and we saw this happen with his co-worker as well. Hopefully this is unusual and not typical of how he treats women (we didn't witness him speak this way to men).

Great venue. BUT Menu needs revisiting. Yesterday i had a Chicken Parmigiana. Very disappointed. 2 small pieces of chicken put next to each other. no taste. sauce very dry. chicken hard and burnt on the outside. Every pub as a great parma. This one was very disappointing.

Took some friends here after having great meals previously. Had a dinner reservation at 8.30 and ordered well before 9pm. Meals came out quickly however the pork belly was over cooked and dry. No sauce and a combination of vegetables that didn't really go with the pork. The mash served with the steak was amazing though. Excellent bar staff just average food this time.

We ordered the lamb pizza, the squid, the pork ribs and the kilpatrick oysters. The pork ribs were slightly overcooked, but other than that - the rest of the food was really enjoyable. For drinks we tried a couple of different Gins, the Passionfruit cocktail and the blackberry cocktail. All of the gin was nice, the passionfruit cocktail was beautiful, the blackberry cocktail wasn’t quite right and the presentation wasn’t there but it was still drinkable. The heaters outside are a great idea for dinner time! It was very comfortable out there. The people behind the bar were lovely and offered us great recommendations as well. Thanks Guys!

We booked a large group at short notice and they managed to get us seated at one table on a very busy night. Although it was order at the bar it worked out very well as we all got our meals at the same time and in a short time. meals all very enjoyable..no complaints. And they were kind enough to put the tv to a channel so we could see our local rugby union team playing at home in NZ. Magic.

Food is okay, nothing special. Avoid the antipasto plate as it's quite expensive and is only a small portion. The lighting inside the eating area is quite dim so if you have poor vision consider somewhere else. They do have a great range of beers on tap and bottled though.

I was at a table with 17 friends on Sunday night after the Festival of Voices Bonfire, so Salamanca was crowded. 2 of us knew what we wanted to eat and ordered quickly way before anyone else at our table. Then the meals started coming out, but not ours. Nearly our entire table had finished when after 20 mins of watching everyone eat we asked the serving staff and were told our orders weren't put through for 15 mins after we ordered and that they are cooking for 2 restaurants. But shouldn't meals come out in almost the order of the time they were placed? I ordered a pizza and many pizzas came out to our table long before mine. After 50 minutes my Aussie pizza finally arrived and yes it was delicious but was it worth it after watching everyone else eat and finish there meals - I don't think so. This restaurant definitely requires more staff on the bar as food and drink orders on a busy night had just 2 girls at the bar taking orders. And goodness knows what happens to the orders once they are taken - and please don't blame it on the fact you have one kitchen for 2 restaurants!

Nice pub with plenty of space indoor and out. It extends from the front harbourside through to the back plaza (fountain). This space for kids as they can enjoy running around the plaza whilst the Adults can enjoy a drink /food whilst keeping an eye on the little ones

I enjoy going here as it's in a great location and it has a good atmosphere. However I didn't enjoy the seafood plater. Oil overload. Every thing on the plate was battered, in oil or smothered in some oily buttery sauce. I felt sick before I was half finished. Service was a bit slow as well.
