D. W.Garry ran a great ship at the talbot and i reckon noodles will do a great job taking over best wishes noodles the talbot is a top pub to catch up with mates for a frothy one or three a good hearty feed and a flutter on the keno or races friendly crowd and great atmosphere

E. J.Not sure yet but a lovely lady answered the phone unfortunately only to tell me that they'd just closed so unfortunately the hours below are all incorrect on the fb page. No idea about what description is on the web page re hours maybe they are correct on there? the food looks good and also they do take away wine as well as food and I was hoping for both! Now I'm even hungrier... will still try them out as the lady said that she would have them changed, and even though they were literally about to walk out the door she still asked me how long it would take me to get there... Too bad I don't live across the road :)

However, the meal was very good and we'll priced. I had the pork belly and my wife had the lamb.....no complaints at all from us.

A.The Talbot Hotel is a great traditional local pub, offering a relaxed atmosphere, good food and a decent range of beverages. Located on New Town Road, it is central to anyone living in the area, are passing through. Definitely recommended.

J. B.An underrated sports bar in Hobart! The meals are great if you like typical pub and American style food and there are plenty of sports on offer on the screens. Betting facilities are less than similar vesues but there are other venues close by which can serve that purpose. There's an 8 ball table which is off limits during meal times and a good bunch of regulars. The staff are great too! Provided you're okay with the idea of a sports bar which isn't all that flash or modern, it's hard to look past the Talbot!

j. z.It is in a local pub, which i was really suprised with the food quality. The food is very delicious, actually it is much better than most sydney city pubs I had. XXL serve size. Me and my wife ordered chicken parma and pull pork, perfectly cooked, the chips is welly favioured and crispy. The salad isn't boring too, mix with multiple leaves, tomoto, bean sprouts and really well sliced onion.
M. G.Food is plentiful, it was quite busy. The owners were run of there feet, and the general feel was of a place you'd go to watch sport with a group of mates and have a quick bite and a few brews.
