We had a great meal with views over the harbour, would recommend if in the area to stop in for a meal to relax and enjoy the views.

An acceptable place for Christmas lunch with a group or as a couple, as so many places are not open. Set menu to choose 3 courses from for just over $100 per person. Nice relaxing views of the waterfront. Totally acceptable and pleasant.

We've visited the Waterfront several times recently, and every time the food has been delicious. A great menu, that's not too big, means it's quick and enjoyable. Atmosphere is pleasant. Service could be improved, all staff are lovely, but it would be great to be checked back on and be asked whether we want more drinks or dessert. Overall a must for your belly.

Just a "pub", so depends what you want. Staff made mistakes with the menu - although they were very pleasant / food quite nice / lots of silly mistakes - but - as I said "it's a pub" ... Why did I go??? I was invited. Not my choice.

The Waterfront Hotel restaurant is an excellent "pub" venue, with a good menu and reasonable prices. The service is efficient and friendly and the view over Kangaroo Bay quite superb, a perfect location. I would rate this at five stars if the wine list was improved, but presently is somewhat limited.

I huned a group of my former work mates for lunch today. There were 10 of us. All of us were most impressed with the food and the price, the service and ofcourse the wonderful location. I highly recommend it.

Was very busy but they seated us anyway. Unfortunately this affected the service and meals weren't up to their usual standard. I still recommend this place for great meals, but I also suggest booking to avoid disappointment.

This place could be a regular for us as we've recently moved nearby, so it was a shame we didn't have a better experience. It started with confusion when trying to book, it seemed like we were being discouraged from booking a table on the upstairs balcony. I said that was what we wanted, and it was a bit challenging to work out from what the person was saying whether there were tables available or not. Ended up making the booking not quite knowing where we'd end up, in spite of trying to clarify several times. When we arrived we were seated at a table in the balcony and there were plenty of spare tables. Heaters had been mentioned when we booked but they weren't on. I kept my jacket on and was fine. We waited a long time to order, maybe 15-20 minutes, eventually flagged somebody over and ordered wine and mains. Waited a very long time for the wine, had to call somebody over and ask for it again, it ultimately came only a few minutes before the mains, and it was the wrong wine (same brand, but different type) and it was opened without checking, poured and the staff member was gone before we realised. The food was quite enjoyable (both mains and desserts) but not sure we would return for it with the other service issues. Staff were apologetic about the long wait (when called over) and also apologised that the wrong wine had been served (which I mentioned when we paid).

We had a family dinner of 15 people, meals were delicious, fresh, & we didn't wait overly long. I really enjoyed the salmon, my son loved the tropical chicken parmi, & changing the cheese to fetta as it's the only one he eats was no trouble. We didn't feel rushed to leave either, & the table drinks service was friendly and attentive, great meal, beautiful views from the upstairs outdoor dining area, & the clear blinds kept the wind out enough as it cooled down.

Had a beautiful meal..fully recommend the Ribs..fell of the bone..very yummy. Then unfortunately moved into the Gaming room to watch the AFL final game on the TV. We were told very rudely 20 minutes after by the unshaven Barman that "sorry my local wants to watch the cricket" and changed the channel. Also tried to order a coffee was told there's free coffee in the machine. We felt very uncomfortable and left the premises straight away. Ruined our night after a wonderful dinner. 😕

Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. A group of 6 of us dined in for tea, we were greated and served all night by one staff memeber (Amy) who was absolutely outstanding, I mean good customer service is hard these day but this girl went above and beyond your general service, my hubby had a lot of questions about the menu and GF options, but even that was no trouble for this girl. We enjoyed our meals, I had the Lemon Pepper Squid which was too die for. All in all one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve ever had. We will definitely be returning, not just for the food, but for the great service also.

Idyllic setting overlooking the yacht yard but that's where the classiness ends, at least if you're downstairs - this is your local cheap n cheerful. Foxtel in the sports bar means you can catch your team play - and not many joints offer that. Affordable meals and drinks with more seating outdoors than in. Wine is catspiss so stick to beer or bourbon.

Been coming here for every special occasion with my partner for 3 years and it has never failed us, great service, amazing food and amazing prices! Able to always spend under $60 for two meals and drinks.

It's your average pub inside. Could get rid of TV sports and a have a refurb to match the prime location. Maybe one day. Definitely great sitting outside. Pitty they still have a smoking area. I thought smoking went out of fashion with the 90's.
