Had dinner here with friends last night. Typical ALH pub set up but I thought the food was a step up from their normal. Mate had the mixed grill, biggest meal I've seen in a long while and cheap with current high meat prices, no skimping with 2 lamb loin chops, steak, sausages, bacon, great chips and gravy. Risotto was made with care and attention, very tasty as were my arancini but could have done with a bit more of the pumpkin puree. Service ALH stock standard, clean and well spaced but male toilet needed a bit more attention in terms of urine smell.

It's a great place to eat. My meals were excellent, steak cook just right. Yes the atmosphere is real good. It wasn't busy tonight. Great pool tables here, next time I even might have a go. I stayed the night. The rooms have been refitted and are truly amazing, comfortable bed. Shower is great. Hot water excellent. I'll be back. Thankyou to the chef and your team for cooking our meal. We were a bit late and the kitchen was closing

Nice place for a meal. Not to busy for a Monday night, i had a lovely piece of salmon and the freshest salad i was very happy with my meal. Tasty value for money. Only complaint we had, we ordered a side bowl of chips that came out as a entrée with the garlic bread not as a side to our main meal. But was tasty. Seen the staff get abused by customers in the pokie room two times, really its not the staff's fault your banging the machine and losing your money. The staff did not deserve this, i found them all to be polite and friendly.

Been having meals every Thursday night with my work mates now for 6 weeks,the priceses are affordable and the food is fantastic.they have a basic menu everyday,and also the specials menu which is updated weekly.yum yum yummy Great food really enjoyable you want to lick the plate👍🏻 the staff are amazing and extremely helpful with your choice or if you wish to mix up your meal and change off the menu you can examples salad/ veg /mash/Idaho potatoes etc. Staff are great.Betty and Himantha make sure everyone is served cold beers and the meals are to perfection. 👏👏👏👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻to the people in the kitchen doing a great job,thanks heap see you next Thursday 👌👌👌

I know the food is pretty descent, the service is good, very clean premises but again walking into a public bar and all you hear is racing, I still liked and remember the old days where you went in had a drink plus get a conversation with anyone, now all you get is gambling and gambling and beer don't mix, such a shame pubs have got to rely on people losing money to survive but then again, the Ashley is not on its own.

LIked this property as rooms were quiet, modern and clean but a little sparse in what they offer for the price. The TV nightlight was very bright. So great to be able to stay at a venue and the rooms be so quiet. Lovely food in Bistro and drinks. Overall it was nice enough. There was a spare blanket in the room but when I went to use it, it had something gross stuck all over it, so very disappointed with the dirty blanket. My milk for my coffee was slightly off. There was a breakfast pack in the room that I didn't know if I could eat or not so I left it just in case it costs extra, same with the water in the fridge. Overall the room was comfortable staff are friendly. The hotel has an alternative entry which is good if you have kids because kids aren't allowed in the tavern part. Location was good and quiet.

Chose to stay here as the price was within my budget. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has ample choices, and the food is plentiful, and delicious, plenty of beers on tap to choose from, huge screens to watch sport .. the rooms are clean, and seviced regulary,comfy bed, and air con as well. the shared toilets/showers works ok. and keeps the costs down.bus to the city close by,and shopping over the road.don't take my word for it.. book your next stay here..i'll be back.. thanks guys and gals

Couldn't find reception. No signs except one up high on the ceiling inside the pub. No secure parking. Extremly noisy guests. Couldn't get a table to dine for dinner would of had to wait an hour. Great for a quick stay, I have eaten here before and the food was good. Room was clean. 2 things that weren't great, cookies left on the desk were covered in ants in the morning. Also there was a phone ringing nonstop in the morning, went for about 30+ mins and was very irritating.

No frills pub. Small to medium dining room, not fancy but not shabby either. The food quality is average. At the same time, I have never had a terrible meal here. Wednesday is good value because you can have any 2 main for $35. My only complaints would be the limited choice of sauce between tomato and BBQ. What about mustard or sweet chilli or aioli?
