Great vibe, delicious food and tasty cocktails!
Who thinks that is your classic Indian place is wrong! Indian food with a twist, modern and delicious, with a cool and vibrant vibe- that’s what Bhang is about.
We had the Feed Me menu and the vegetarian was incredible! Loved the eggplant curry.
The cocktails is the highlight with no doubt and I do recommend to try the Hibiscus Kiss and the Purple Haze.
Do a favor to yourself and go have a good time there.
I love it!

Wanted a place that did good cocktails and food. Cocktails were well made; in particular I enjoyed the Queen of Kerala. Food was just okay, and some of the food came out cold/luke warm, which is not nice. Flavour wise it was okay, but nothing to rave about. I think the price was pretty on point for the portion size, and the service was good. So good cocktails, but not so good Indian food.

Exceptionally tasty food and great vibe. I'd highly recommend Tuesday thali special to get a taste of everything with amazing price. I personally wasn't a fan of cocktails because bartenders used juice to top up mine and my cocktail ended up tasting like fruit juice and no sign of Vodka, they also eye balled the measurements which I'm not a fan of in cocktail making. Overall great experience, will be back for food, maybe with wine instead of cocktails.
S. K.
Love everything about this place.. food, ambience, music, and the cocktails. Vegan/veg options are highlights and not a poor cousin.
Highly recommended for a good time.

Great Indian food.
Tasty, fresh - Just a joy to eat.
It's a place doesn't look like much, but WOW - the food taste great. Give it ago, I'm sure you wont be disappointed

We've just enjoyed a delicious birthday dinner here. It was SO TASTY! Our server Emma was welcoming and friendly and we're really grateful for her looking after us. The staff made extra effort to serve as birthday cake with sparklers.
The selection of cocktails was interesting and tasty, and there are a number of good non-alcoholic alternatives.
You really don't need to look at the menu: just take your friends along, order one of everything, and enjoy!
S. B.
Simply superb food and drinks. Probably the best Indian diner in Melbourne. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here...

10/10 food experience. Stand out dishes were the lamb shoulder momos and the tiger prawns 🥰🥰 lovely service, very attentive, food was quick. Will be going back ☺️
M. W.
Fantastic! Had vegetarian samosas, eggplant curry and crispy cauliflower with rice and naan. Very much enjoyed the food and the service was just wonderful. Thank you.

Food: Overall is light on the palate. I don't want to sound too harsh but as a South Asian I'd like to be honest. The food is great, it's just not exactly Indian cuisine.
Ambience: Beautiful interior and the overall design of the restaurant is authentic to South Asian culture.
Pros- Decent portion, great presentation, cocktails were yummmmmmy.
Cons- Not as flavourful as authentic Indian food which smells of cumin, cardamom and chilli, perhaps it is made that way here for a milder flavour. We asked for it to be spicier but couldn't taste the spice - I think it was just chilli powder sprinkled on top instead of being cooked in the dish.
The only real issue I would say is that the food was served lukewarm (seen quite a few reviews saying the same).
If you're looking a twist on Indian food that's isn't spicy and tones the flavours down for a much lighter palate and great ambience, this is the place.

Lovely place. Every dish we had was delicious and I loved the decor. Will definitely be back.

Nice little place in Brunswick . We had great time , they had happy hour for whole night. For starters we had bengal prawn chops and chicken 65 they we good . For mains we had verdakkai pulussu and junglee Maas was alright with too much of oil . The atmosphere was great and service was great too .
Definitely we will be back to try more dishes .
S. B.
Very very yummy food! It's not only looks good, but taste even better!! And very friendly and welcoming stuff!! So good experience!!!

The atmosphere of this place is quite nice. Dim lighting and the colour scheme complement each other well. The music.... Could do with some work.... It's a mix of pop and Indian. Each track changes the mood of the place - not ideal. The food was quite nice. The Kori Gassi (chicken curry) was probably the highlight of the meal - if you like your chilli make sure you ask for it to be chilli. The garlic naans were really soft and actually had a garlic taste to it unlike many other places I've been to. The crispy spinach chaat is not really a chaat. It's more like a pakora with sauce on the side (meh). Great cocktail choices. The Hum Tum cocktail was surprisingly nice and sweet (recommended). Overall the staff were friendly, came across a little lazy or maybe they were quite tired. The prices were... astronomically high! Some of the dishes (particularly the raita) not even worth it. The sweet samosas were a pleasant surprise. Have not seen or tried it anywhere else. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a nice place for a special occasion only.

Great vibe and great food. We asked if the food had onion and garlic, sadly all the curries do but the staff member instantlty understood it might have been a fructose intolerance issue and came over to talk through.
We loved the food. The chicken wings!! So yummy. Would have those over buffolo wings and ranch any day (why is that even good? Americans?? Canadians?? XD)
Tha ms for a great dining experience. Online booking was easy!

Had the feed me menu, flavour was good but it missed spiciness. Very over-priced though for a menu without a dessert.

We’d been wanting to try this place for awhile and were a little underwhelmed by some of the food and drinks that arrived. My cocktail was a little watered down, and the pani puri was a little bland. Not the flavour explosion I expected. My tandoori chicken was delicious however, and my husband enjoyed the ribs. I think Bhang shows real potential though, the decor is fun and lures you in from the street. It’s a little out of place so of course you want to learn more. Our waiter was a little off but others who served us throughout the night were friendly and efficient. She could have just been having a bad day,
R. S.
Execellent food that gives a different twist on Indian cuisine. Wait staff were working hard as it got buy very quickly so there was a delay on our drinks. The waiter apologised comped my drink as it took a while due to a mixup. Would definitely return again. Great range of vegetarian options too. The cauliflower korma is a must.
M. S.
Excellent Indian Bollywood retro concept ambience...good options for drinks. 1st floor gets noisy if all occupied. Little expensive for portions they serve. Not a great children friendly space.
H. K. P.
We got the feed me menu ($49pp) and it was amazing! We loved what the food which the staff provided and they had great service!
A. M.
Bhang is a trendy little interpretation of a number of different roadside eateries in India but perhaps mostly a Dhaba. Our reservation for dinner at 9.15 pm on a Saturday found us seated after a 10 minute wait on the ground floor near the bar.
Our drinks were brought across fairly quickly - my haldi amigo could have used more tequila and haldi though it held the promise of a near concoction. We ordered the Chicken 65 wings and Spinach fritters for our first course. The chicken wings were far too shy to live up to their boisterous inspiration for a name. The spinach fritters were wonderfully light and were excellent. For the main we decided to share a chicken Kori Gassi. The namesake is a watery but potent gravy from Southwest India(Mangalore especially) called a Gassi into which brittle slivers or a crumbled flatbread(Kori rotti) are dipped and the resultant mess consumed with gusto. What's remarkable about Gassi is the kokum infused into the gravy. What we got was a really good gravy with chicken falling apart and very flavourful, in the absence of the usual flatbread accompaniment we paired it with naans and we're well satisfied though I would not consider the gravy(immensely satisfying as it was) anything that near resembles chicken Gassi.
Overall Bhang holds promise and is a pretty good place to scratch your itch for authentic Indian with - you will be more than mildly satisfied.
C. B.
The chicken tikka, lamb cutlets and cauliflower dishes were all great. $4 pots of beer or cider on tap were good value. Only negative was the naan was served cold.
F. F.
This is a good place to connect with friends and have a few drinks. We came to celebrate a friends birthday and the service was slow, we did come on a busy night. The waiter seemed annoyed to be working and was hurrying us to order food when she did eventually get to us. I was a bit disappointed in the food. It was pretty average and since the food was named after traditional Indian dishes you kind of have an expectation but it was more of an Indian fusion.
E. C.
Hidden up Mitchell St, this place is a little gem. As soon as you walk in you can smell delicious spices and curries. The service was super friendly, lamb ribs were so tender they fell apart, garlic naan was the perfect combo of garlic and buttery goodness and the old fashioned cocktails were spot on. We’ll definitely be back!
D. L.
Chingri Malai - Char grilled tiger prawns w/ Bengali coconut curry. An absolute must! Absolutely delicious.
Great service with the wait staff very knowledgeable and helpful, cozy ground level environment with the smell of spices and fresh food making it impossible not to salivate as you enter the restaurant.
S. S.
Really great atmosphere and the cocktails are incredible. We went for the Chef’s choice Feed Me option. The entree was great, there was a lot of food and good variety, plus it was tasty. The mains unfortunately didn’t really follow. Somewhat bland, a little burnt on the dhal side, and just overall not overly well executed. Of the 4 or 5 dishes what Cain in the main, I could point to one being pretty good but the rest forgettable at best.
Overall, good decor with a solid atmosphere and drinks list, but if you’re looking for a great culinary experience, this will leave your dinner party divided.
C. N.
Good food and ambiance, albeit slightly pricey.
I liked the fact that it's far more representative of various regions of India, especially South India, however it certainly has been adapted for a Western palate and may not be quite as authentic. However, I'm glad that this restaurant showcases lesser known dishes to Melburnians beyond the standard Butter Chicken and Vindaloo.
J.
My advice; stick to house beer, wine and spirits and avoid the cocktails; the few we ordered tasted exactly the same, despite the different flavour profiles and ingredients mentioned in the menu.
Definitely order the garlic naan. The flakiness of the perfectly crafted dough will leave you on a high.
Avoid the overly fatty and salty lamb curry; you will be disappointed with the tiny amount of meat and high amount of solid fat. The saltiness will have you craving something fruity, which is what could have potentially saved this dish from being unpleasant.
Do not order the veggie curry with plantain, especially if you know what it is. The waiters don't know what plantain is and the dish does not contain it at all, and has potato, instead.
A few drinks and naans are a good way to enjoy the cosy and ambient restaurant, but I would not return for a curry any time soon.
E. U.
Absolutely amazing food and the cocktails add a fantastic cultural spin on some classics. Great low-lit vibe with Indian pop-culture too!
L. T.
3 ⭐️ for food - its decent, not bad but not wow either
4 ⭐️ for ambiance - nice deco on the wall, toilets are super clean and staff are very friendly
5 ⭐️ for cocktails - awesome cocktail! The mandarin ?? Which was on special that days is very refreshing! And the indian lady. Oh wow. Will really recommend it to anyone!
S. F.
YUM!!!! They have this chickpea snack that is TO DIE FOR! Could eat it every day. The whiskey sour is hands down the best I have ever had. Ever.
S. A.
If you are going for Indian food, there are a lot other places which are far far far far better than this. The food was just average, did not try the drinks.
L. D.
Food was excellent, service was great and happy hour cocktails were delicious. What more could you ask for. I will definitely come back again.
J. L.
The Chicken 65.. love it! Mmm mmm to share plates, gotta come back for a Thali plate!
H. M.
lovely Indian restaurant with an interesting name and interiors..Food is good and a friendly staff, must visit if you are in that part of Melbourne
M. C.
The food is to die for...top notch indian cuisine, cool setting, cosy and warm.. great cocktails.
Suggested dishes to try is the beef ribs (drool worthy and slow cooked) and the Feed Me special
Bookings are a must and close to the 19 tram just off Sydney Rd
R. S.
If you're expecting some good Indian food then "DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE"
But if you want to enjoy good ambience and good drink then this is the place for you.
😁

Had dinner on a super busy weekend. Great customer service. Good ambience. Both, vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals were delicious! Would definitely go again!
S. S.
Cute place. food was definitely for a white palate... it was fine, but lacked salt and chili... so, yes, a british version of indian food. yum cocktails. owned by a white chef who said he "draws from a youth spent eating Britain's National Cuisine (read: Indian)" -" from the good food aus website... blah. a little annoyed he took a cool name like "bhang" and made a nice looking restaurant with bollywood movie poster decor (a la dishoom in london)....
I'd say if you can make the trip to the CBD, try Delhi Streets. Just wished Delhi Streets had the funding Bhang did/does... but awesome decor and INSANELY delicious food and owned by South Asians.
M. W.
Delicious food, fantastic staff and innovative cocktails! Great vibe too
u. d.
We went there and tried the feed me menu 49$ per person. The entree was so good loved the potato samosa and paneer samosa, the pinaple chutney was awesome.Nan bread was soft and perfactly clocked.
However I did not like the main course it was not authentic and need some work on spices level.
The kasmiri paneer was too sour and was missing all other test rather than sourness .And the other curry has too much cinnamon that it test like cinnamon only.
s. a.
my experience was overall good :) In terms of ambience its quite impressive and classy. This place welcome different culture people. And If i talked about the food, they have very limited options in their menu which includes indian food with the taste of classic aussie flavour.
N. S.
The venue and setting is nice but food didn't meet my expectations - the spice level and flavours were toned down quite a bit, tasted almost bland to me. The service was quite slow too. We ordered the feed me option which ended up being way too much in quantity but the entrée was more tastier than the main dishes (and it didn't include any desserts 😟)
S. S.
"Never judge a book by its cover" - this is apt for Bhang..though it looks simple from outside, it's bustling with people inside! Greeted by Ricky at the Cocktail Bar, we got a taste of what the favourites are! Pics shared here..Then, welcomed by Justin, our host for the evening, he calmly told us the uniqueness of the menu. We went for the AUD 49 per person menu, as I thought we will get to have a taste of everything on the menu. What I personally loved the most was the crumchy spinach fritters drizzled with a sweet sauce and in the mains, the goat and chicken. However, I felt that the per person menu couldve been reduced to around AUD 39, and honestly, this place is best for its cocktails and entrees. The staff was very polite and cooperative and loved the decor as well and Sangeeta, for helping us click pics as well. Definitely coming back for the cocktails!
G. C.
Fun cocktails and fantastic menu made it pretty hard to decide what to pick so will definitely have to come back. The only dish that was a bit lack luster was the fish biryani but couldn't fault anything else.
E. G.
Have given this place a crack a few times now and it's a tough review, as it comes with some serious hit and miss. They nail some of it - the momos with braised lamb shoulder were a good start, the Rogan Josh is a safe bet, and the barramundi biryani and dhal were both highlights, yet all could've definitely done with more flavour.
In a part of Melbourne where Indian food is plentiful, overall Bhang probably needs to be better, offering up fare that is good but well short of being amazing.
We also missed out on a more than mildly anticipated dessert because the kitchen closed (early), yet we weren't to know, nor were we asked. Not ideal, as those dumplings on a nearby table looked pretty damn good.
J. S.
Superb mix of Indian cuisines. A really will fit venue.
K. D.
As someone well versed in South Indian cuisine and feels the is lack of its representation in Melbourne this is honestly as good as it gets unless you plan on flying your Mom over to Melbourne, the Chicken 65 is as authentic as any bar you would order it at on the coast, the Kori Gassi just as rich as anyone from the Bunt community could make it and the Sungta and Botate are reminiscent of nights spent in Goa, a really good selection of Indian booze and pretty innovative fusion dishes like the Old Monk Ribs as well. If you're after the generic butter chicken and Rogan Josh then maybe go to your usual run of the mill Indian/Punjabi restaurant that will be happy to serve you the same without any passion. The dishes on the menu here seem to have been thoroughly researched and have all the subtle nuances you would find in homemade cuisine. This place looks to make dishes from the places less represented; so go in with an open mind and an empty stomach and be happy to go on a road less traveled or represented in Indian cuisine overseas.
S. G.
Loveee loveed your Rajasthani goat potato curry its unlike anything Ive eaten in any Indian restaurant. Spices on point. Not too oily. Great flavours. Its exactly how i want to be my food like. Amazing drinks. Great customer service and such a happening place.Thank you for such a wonderful experience:)
N. N.
Cool / creative interior! Been there for the first time. Will come back again and try few more dishes and booze.
J. M.
Great little place - lots of great sharing meals. Indian style street food yummy! We were there for a friend's 50th, cocktails were great too!
D. M.
Went on Tuesday for their Thali plate. Amazing!! Awesome flavours, everything from entré to dessert and rice and naan on the one plate. Couldn’t ask for more. Going again this Tuesday!
M. G.
Great atmosphere and decor delivering excellent service and delicious food at a reasonable price. Great options for vegetarian/vegan and also work well with dietary requirements. Good beer selection (always important) and I heard from other tables that the cocktails were also a hit. What else is there to say - no complaints here!
T. B.
Unlike other Indian restaurants in Melbourne the food isn't heavy. We went with friends and shared most of the dishes on the menu. Each plate had wonderful flavor and complimented the others well. Great atmosphere, great prices and amazing food! Would recommend!
C. S.
Great food. Good quantity and quality service. Highly recommended.
P. (. t. P. E.
This is one the the truly excellent restaurants in Melbourne. I have always had excellent meals, cocktails, and service. Highly recommend.
J. H.
The 'FEED ME' platter was fantastic. Don't think I've ever had any Indian food of this quality and presentation before. The place did look like small rom the outside, but it is nice and cozy inside, quite spacious too. I'll update my review to 5 stars once you add more tap beers ;)
S. D.
Delicious food, great selections and so rich! Indian fusion with spices, but not overpowering. Some unusual dishes too! Great indian inspired cocktail list also. Will definitely be going again!
C. R.
Fast and friendly service, great food and cocktails
L. V.
Tucked away on a back street just off Sydney road. Food was delicious- the samosas were crispy and not too strongly curry flavoured. Wait staff were competent. It was too full so we had to eat downstairs so was a bit cooler. Overall great experience.
N. T.
This is hands so far down the best Indian restaurant on planet Earth. The trout is the greatest dish for 25 bucks of all time (you get the whole trout dude). The atmosphere is fantastic. I can't get enough of this place. Consider me a regular!
M. F.
Great atmosphere. There was 6 of us , We had the “feed me” banquet, it should be “feed me when you ask enough times for food”. We had to ask a few time just to get some food. Meals were small. Service slow. We had a lovely night out but will go somewhere else next time. It’s a shame as we only live around the corner.
D.
Places like this are the reason why I love living in Brunswick so much! Great atmosphere in a tucked away location with good food, drinks and great music. The $25 thali deal on Wednesday’s is my favourite! The staff are also really friendly and the place doesn’t have a pretentious vibe which is becoming common in Melbourne. Would definitely go back again.
T. B.
U gotta get ur lips around a Bhang! Burrito!! Indi-mex fusion... wow!
As always, so happy to be fed ( and watered!! On special occasions!) by Bhang!
V. &. C. K. &. B.
Great atmosphere, great Indian street food , fantastic service from the very nice waitress who seemed to be doing all on here own at one stage .
L. H.
Cool ambience and decent Indian food, happy hour drinks from 5-7pm too. Will probably return!
H. S.
Best Indian food from places lesser known. We had the lamb and or literally cell of the bone. The spices were perfect. The flavours as authentic as they could get. This is my new #1 pick in Melbourne for Indian food.
R. A.
Good place to eat. It's a place to try an Indian cuisine with Western touch. Embience or atmosphere was pretty good. Quantity would not be enough for people who have already been to other Indian restaurants and expecting the same.
J. I.
Incredible food! Best Indian food I've had in a long time - we shared a whole bunch of food as a group and it was all really delicious, and good value. Would highly recommend Bhang, will be there again in the future!
H. M.
Just had my 28th birthday at Bhang. Have been here a few times before, always great. The cocktails were really nice, tried them all, the purple haze hit home. Kudos to the waiter With the cool haircut, think his name was Liam , cool and calm, nice vibes for the night.
C. H.
Was really impressed with Bhang and would recommend a visit! We shared a few dishes as the menu suggests and we certainly didn't leave hungry! Didn't feel like we overpaid either. The best part of the experience was the service!! By far some of the best I've received in Brunswick! Our waitress was refreshingly enthusiastic and it made our night!! Keep it up
J. W.
Been really delicious both times I've been. Thali night was great. could have been a little more heat in a couple of the curries. But I think that's a personal thing. The Tahli night is actually really good value at $30, I eat a lot and even I was loosening the belt by the end, your getting your entire meal inc dessert. Recommend checking it out.
B. A.
Had the absolute best night, dinner and drinks at Bhang. My partner & I had always wanted to go here - we were instantly greeted by lovely customer service that was some of the best we've had that continued throughout the whole night from Justin who made our experience there even better! Ambience and decor is so cool. We started with cocktails and ordered the thalis, garlic nann, papads and a main - so delicious! We have lived in India for many years before and these flavours were on point so ignore people's comments comparing to India, these were different in the best way! Not to be missed if you're in Brunswick - we can't wait to go back!
L. A.
nom nom nom nom! Stumbled across Bhang two years ago by accident. Have been back three times since. Food is delicious, make sure you get the beef ribs!
Staff are amazing as well. I left my phone there once by accident and the team charged it whilst I returned to collect it. Legends.
d.
Awesome food and knowledgeable and effective staff make for a sublime dining experience. The drinks menu has a fine array of delicious new ways of approaching old school cocktails... and they have super tap beers!
M. H.
I’ve have had food at bhang on 3 occasions - most recently take-out. The food is great - really tasty, reasonably priced. I would highly recommend if you feel like Indian mixed with a modern flare, this is the place to go! Also recommend for take-away.
A. V.
Bhang serves up one of the most authentic Indian food I've had! Food tastes amazing, they do great cocktails, staff are all super friendly. Definitely a "bhang" for the buck! 10/10 would recommend to all my friends.
K. B.
Need to give this place another try it may have been the food we choose.
Small plates were tasty- recommend the samosas the pani puri was meh (but it is pani puri there is not much in it)
Out of the 3 mains 2 had bones and as a personal preference it's just to hard to manage- roasted calliflower was great though.
Service was good, staff were friendly , a little chaotic with the amount of people there, atmosphere was tight, beautifully refurb place but felt like a lot packed in- lost abit of intamacy, tables for two were crammed and left little space for food to be placed.
Overall first impressions we weren't wowed but we are willing to give it a other go.
S. L.
We came for the gluten free naan and will return for the fab service and delish food. We're not the easiest fam to cater for, with a coeliac, dairy and nut allergies and a toddler with low spice tolerance level, but this place delivered in spades with zero compromise on flavour (I'm the only one without allergies). Thanks heaps for a great night out.
M. H.
Great food and professional service.
Z. Z.
Completely overrated. Read the reviews and thought wow...I need to check out this place. There's cheaper and much tastier Indian around Brunswick and Coburg. Ok this place does cocktails and has nice interiors and good vibe. Service is friendly and the food is ok. So go along for these things if that's what does it for you.
A. K.
Over promises but under delivers. Good attempt at a different spin on usual Indian fare, but falters on portion sizes. Wouldn't usually complain about paying top dollar for great food, but Bhang falls just short on all fronts. Nevertheless, good ambiance to catch up over nibbles and drinks. Worth a try once before you form your own opinion.
d. p.
Overpriced for the taste. The cocktails were great and some of the starters tasted good. But the main dish was very average and felt too over priced.
K. P.
So tasty!! I've had fresher tasting Indian (Horn Please), but that in no way is to suggest that Bhang wasn't fresh. But the take away from Bhang is the volume of flavours! So awesome. I need to go back again soon.
J. B.
10/10 - good cocktails, friendly staff and cool decor. Sri Lankan pork curry was amazing (maybe the best curry I've ever had?). All at a good price too. Bhang by name Bhang by nature
A. M.
Every time we eat with you are transported to India 🇮🇳 beautiful subtle flavours. We miss the physical restaurant but home delivery is really excellent ! Thank you 🙏
M. W.
Bhang is a fantastic addition to the Brunswick restaurant scene with an intimate fitout and excellent Indian cuisine. Downstairs has a great bar with plenty of cocktail options and upstairs seats about 30. The menu is reasonably priced and varied, with plenty of gluten free and vegan options. Really, Bhang just works and is destined for many return visits.
J. R.
Overpriced Indian Street food that is tasty but not special. Vegetarian Thali $25. Watch your Bill, they charged me for 2 extra wines that were delivered to another table.
K. S.
Good food - convenient location and friendly staff - the seating arrangement was a bit questionable and the area was quite warm. Food variety was lovely and it was good to see an indian fusion which included cuisines from all across the subcontinent.
A. T.
Great fitout, great music choices and their 'feed me' menu for $49 will ensure you leave with a happy and full stomach. All night happy hour every Tuesday as a bonus.
J. R.
Cocktails are a nice mix of interesting flavours. Great venue and all the meals are delicious.
L. S.
Fab food, staff and cocktails. Been there twice and shall return. A great find!
S. M.
Happy Hour pints for $8 and a great selection of both meat & vegetarian dishes that are quite delicious. Atmosphere was great too!
K. L.
A modern setting, with friendly waitstaff and food that is tasty, but not at all value for money. I ordered an Eggplant main, and when it arrived at my table we thought we had been given an entree dish by mistake... Tiny. While the meat dishes were slightly more generous, they were all pretty frugal. The music being played was also obnoxiously loud which proved difficult for having a conversation.
Over all, I was disappointed.
M. H.
+ Nice atmosphere
+ Quick service
- Some dishes great, others just okay
- A few surprises on the bill, including happy hour applying only to one of their beers, which isn't clear from the menu or interaction with the waiters
C. W.
Great food and awesome cocktails. Infused vodkas and gin and infused sugar syrups all made in-house, to tantalize your taste buds and numb your brain.
A. C.
Always a great local eat, highly recommended. Cocktails are a winner
T. T.
The food was great and the person who served us was amazing! He was knowledgable and courteous. The food was great - very close to authentic flavours.
R. B.
Simply delish. Blow your mind food. Great atmosphere. Excellent service. Great tap beers. 10/10 would recommend. Do ya tastebuds a favour!
R. B.
Great experience. From the staff to the food you cannot complian. My standout dish of the night is the slow vooked Pork Curry. Cant wait to try the rest of the menu. A must try!
B. P.
Great food - some of the best Indian I've eaten in Melbourne- and great service as well. Really nice atmosphere at this little out-of-the-way resto bar.
R. M.
Amazing food great friendly service. Wednesday night vegan Thalia is top notch and the happy hour drinks are on point.
C. B.
Delicious indian food, different to the style I am used to. Cocktails are also very good. I will be returning. Thank you Bhang!
S. G.
Such an absolutely delicious and special place to dine. Food and service done perfect yet unpretentious.

Best indian food i ever had ..All the food item are good but I love the naan most...I had cheese garlic naan😘😘.Highly recommend this place
R. R.
Great vegan curry platter and lovely service
G. v. D.
Amazing food and great service! Really nice atmosphere also without the price tag. Can’t wait to go back
S. G.
We had a decent experience. Food was average but loved the cocktails. Ambiance was great.
C. K.
Such a pleasant change from the standard stereotypical Indian restaurants. Excellent food, great cocktails, good atmosphere and service
K. G.
Super tasty food and very good service, we loved it and will be back!
B. J.

Best cocktail EVER... Bhang on seductive.Although the hip diners opposite playing cards (perhaps not dealing with the full deck) before the meal could have soured the taste of the night but lucky excellent food trumped their bad taste and ignorance

Amazing food and ambience
M. G.
Not too bad
B. L.
Delicious food, good wine list, awesome space and great staff. HOWEVER, there is nothing I find more distasteful than being hit with public holiday surcharges and then credit card surcharges! That's what i'd expect from a tourist trap restaurant in Southbank. These costs should be forecasted and absorbed into the menu prices, not tacked on without notice at the end.
Bhang, you need to be transparent about this - don't just add it to the bill and hope nobody notices. Not cool.
Otherwise a great dining experience and highly recommend it. (Take cash though and go easy on the naan ... You'll want to save room for desert!)
J. B.
