Came in on a Saturday night when they had a function in the restaurant so we were seated in another room. The Chef and the waiter that served us was AHMAZING!! To say the least. They made every effort to give us the full restaurant experience under the circumstances. We understood completely and were just happy to have a wonderful meal. Which was by the way exquisite. I had a medium rare scotch fillet and it was cooked to perfection. The fish of the day and the rump that our family ordered also looked divine. Thank you so much for the wonderful food. We will definitely be back again and hopefully we'll be dining in the restaurant next time. Highly recommend this place!!! A+++

The food is absolutely amazing!! Much better than we expected. The kids play area is a little bit run down and could use a freshen up and the staff deserve uniforms as the service was great too but couldn’t have asked for a better night out. Once again the food was amazing thanks to the chef!!! We’ll definitely be back again soon.

I have driven past this venue for years and I must say I was very surprised when I chose to give it a go. From the moment we walked in it was a great experience. Ben was our sever and was friendly and made us feel welcome, he was very attentive and made great recommendations for me and my son. The rib eye and scotch fillet was cooked perfectly according to how we requested it and the entree calamari was awesome and perfectly cooked. If you are looking for a local place that is well priced and had really good food, great presentation, nice ambiance and great staff I suggest you go in and have a meal. We will be going back again and again. Special thanks to the chef that also came past to see how our experience was. 😀

What a hidden gem for Sunshine, Albion and Ardeer! The décor is modern, very clean and there is a small play area for the kids. The wait staff and chef were great and they had that old school hospitality charm. My wife and I both had steak (eye fillet and t-bone) - both were cooked to perfection and the sides and sauces were fantastic. If you don't like steak, there is plenty more on the menu. If you haven't already, get down and try Blazed Bar & Grill!

A hidden treasure in ALBION/SUNSHINE would have never expected the quality of food and great service. Irene is the cherry on top for the place. Her hospitality is everything it's like going home to mums place or grandma's. I will allow the photos to speak for themselves. The prices are fair and didn't feel they were over priced

Very friendly new Chef, the new dishes are very delightful, especially the lamb cutlets, it is mixed with tomato, eggplant and special sauce, amazing combination, highly recommended! Good place for families, they have a playground for kids, we can enjoy the food without care about the kids.

We have been dining at Blazed for a while and the food is always incredibly fresh and cooked perfectly, Varum the head chef and team create a welcoming atmosphere and chef always makes his way over to check in on your meal. We had our sons baptism and thought to have our function at Blazed and I’m so glad we did! Our family and friends were all so impressed with the spread of food that filled everyone’s bellies, Varum took care of everything and ensured it was the perfect day. Even the fussiest of family members had glowing reviews of the food which is incredible. Can not recommend enough! Thank you to the team at Blazed and especially head chef Varum for going above and beyond.

We had my husband's 40th birthday here last weekend. It was one of the best nights of our lives. Chef Varun was able to accommodate all our needs and nothing we asked was too much for him to do. we were a large group of 60 people and he were given the space for our private function. The canapes' style food was second to none with lots of cold and hot options to choose from. He was also able to create us with a beautiful grazing table with superior cut cold meats and cheese. Also all dietary requirements were catered for. The kids food was served hot and amazing. Emma and the waitress team was so friendly, polite and tentative to our needs. Chef Varun is so easy to deal with that he can be a party planner himself . He even allowed us to use the space earlier than the event time to set up our decorations. We were able to have our own music played through the Bluetooth of the restaurant. My husband, our family and friends was amazed at the quality and the quantity of the food and no one would believe that all the event was organised in less than a week ahead also at a very reasonable price. we will definitely be back again. Thanks for making it a memorable event for all of us.

The food here is amazing since they got the new Chef Varun in here. I would say this place serves the best rib eye (rare) in the west. Also, if you're a fan of butter chicken, it's absolutely amazing here. And if you still have room for dessert, you can't go past the sticky date pudding. An absolute hidden gem this place is. Updated: Was there again for dinner tonight. Varun was both our waiter and chef. There's just no stopping this guy! And the food was spot on as always 👍

Amazing experience! We didn’t expect the quality of the food - but we found it was some of the best around Sunshine. I had the fish and salad - it was very fresh and great portion size. My partner had the ribs and chips, they were tender, straight off the bone and melt in your mouth. The chips were crispy and we got a calamari starter which was great. We had two mains, an entree, a cocktail each and a bottle of wine for $60 each which we thought was great value. We didn’t grab the chefs name but he was not only a great chef but was super lovely. Irene was also so accomodating, friendly and funny. Was a great experience!!

We had an incredible experience at Blazed Bar & Grill. Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly! Ordered pork ribs, spicy chicken and then the sticky date pudding for dessert and they were delicious. Had a chance to chat with the chef and could just see how much passion he has for what he does. You can tell that their main priority is to make customers happy through the food and service they give. Don’t miss this, everyone. This place is special.

Me and my husband went for date night on Sat. There was limited staff, but did not affect service , very friendly and hard working. The chef was a one band show, and the you can tell us very passionate about food and making sure customers are happy. He came and chatted at the end and asked if we liked food etc. Would definitely visit again, in an unassuming area, with good quality food and relaxed atmosphere.

Loved the food and atmosphere, however they should add fruit juices to their menu for the kids. Only providing soft drinks to kids should not be the only option any more. The average price per adult meal with drink is around $40 to $45.

Service was good, a welcoming and friendly environment. The food was more than I was expecting, not a long wait between courses. The entres were very nice and also good sized portions. The mains were NZ lamb and good quality beef steak. Both were cooked well and very filling. Dessert was not as good to be fair, date pudding was too sweet for my liking, especially when served with rainbow ice cream the vanilla slice wasnt fresh and both maybe had too much of the edible flowers. Otherwise, would definitely go again.

My party of 19 guests were thrilled with everything and have said they'll be back. Thank you Bec for your call on Saturday afternoon confirming numbers and table arrangement. Seating near the windows was perfect. Secretly thrilled we had the restaurant to ourselves too. It was wonderful of you Varun to come and talk to my friends. Listening to you explain your attention to detail regarding your cooking techniques, especially of the steak was very interesting. Five star quality all the way. Your talents were truly appreciated on Saturday night, all of the meals were amazing and delicious. Thank you for the special vanilla slice you brought out to me, it was delicious. Thank you to the lady who waited on us, she did a wonderful job taking and delivering all of our orders to us. Tucked away beside the humble Sunshine Motor Inn, we honestly weren't expecting much. We had read a few reviews mentioning the food being good and also kid friendly, so we thought we'd give it a go. What a pleasant surprise this little diamond in the rough was! Both the lovely lady on service and the Chef were super friendly and attentive from the get-go. Chef explained the menu offerings and made some suggestions, and even shared some info about the sourcing of quality ingredients. The bistro was quaint, spacious, clean and cosy. The vibe is chill and relaxed. There's a play corner with a few toys and a TV for the little ones. The food was the highlight and was simply phenomenal! We had the chicken supreme and rib eye steak. Kids had fish and chicken. Everything was tasty, fresh and delicious... literally cooked to perfection. The vanilla slice ahnd raspberry chocolate pudding were also divine. I would highly recommend this little treasure to anyone looking for a quality meal away from the bustle.. they even have delivery options if you can't get there. So happy to support local businesses in the crazy time. We will be back again and again. Give it a go!

Good meal and staff were really friendly. They have two sides to the restaurant, one more with a pub atmosphere and one side with a more upmarket restaurant. Both serve out the same kitchen so if you want a quick meal and to hang with your friends while making a bit of a noise sit at the pub. For the family a more traquile restaurant feel.

Really enjoyed the dinning experience. My family members are big eaters and the meals are generous. We ordered 1 entree to share and 3 main meals for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children), would have loved to try out the desert menu but struggled to finish the meals and could not have fit anything else in (really could have done with 2 mains). The restaurant was great, clean, spacious and staff very friendly. Our children are little so can be noisy and have difficulty sitting still as does most children at this age - the venue has a children play corner which kept the children entertain while waiting for food. The best thing is Wednesday is $20 steak night - and the steaks are beautifully cooked to your liking, I personally enjoy my medium - rare and my steak melted in my mouth, just divine. Highly recommend this place, we will definitely be back to go through the huge menu selection.

I have been to this restaurant a few times wile staying in the adjacent hotel, both times it has been great. The food is seriously amazing, The prices for both food and beer are very reasonable. But the one thing that makes this a go to place for me when in Melbourne is how lovely all the staff are, you just don't get hospitality like that any more. I'd give you guys 10 stars if I could !

Its was a Tuesday night, raining and cold. Last minute decision to go to Blazed for my hubby's birthday. Six of us walked in at 630pm. The restaurant looked lovely inside. Nearly full surprisingly. We did wait about a half an hour for our order to be taken. Then another 45 min for our food. However well worth the wait. The food was delicious. Perfectly presented. Wine was very reasonably priced too. For a bottle that is. Coming back for sure... The only thing i could pick would be they may need more staff. The staff were pleasant and relaxed.

Absolutely love this place. The steak is bloody brilliant! Service is great too. Price is bang on, perhaps even on the cheap side, I'd gladly pay a little more but shhhhh, don't tell anyone that. Newer Edit: the last few times I've been, the steak isn't as consistently good. Seems to be thinner cuts these days too. So I'm dropping my rating to a 4.

Tonight was our first visit to Blazed. We went for a family and couldn't be happier with our experience. The food was fantastic (I had the Blue Cheese pizza, which was perfect) and others had steaks that they all loved. The kids were treated like kings and had a blast in the play area. The service was very impressive. Nothing was too much trouble and it's the most welcome I've been made to feel at a restaurant in years. You can't fake the sincerity in that level of service, Blazed should be proud of what they have achieved. We'll be back for sure.

I had driven past the restaurant on a number of occasions and realised that it had changed hands with the new makeover it had had. Althought skeptical, I made a booking to try it out, The man on the phone was very accomodating and amazingly spelt my name right too :) When I got there, lots of parking was a bonus. The venue has been renovated and looked very up market - the kitchen could be seen when you first enter the premises. Everything was so clean and new! I had kilpatrick oysters and salt and pepper squid for entrees...oh my god! Delicious!!! Not over cooked or heavily battered or salted. Was perfect. Had surf and turf for my main which consisted of a rib eye 350g steak in a cream/garlic sauce with a side of mash potatoes, asparagus, broccolli AND prawns and scallop and mussells! Boy, was it a meal! It was all cooked just right - meat was tender and soft. Nothing i can complain about at all. Unfortunately I was too full to try out any desserts.The waitress was very warm and kind - i would definitely go back again!!!
