Brighton golf course is very cool layout as it’s tight holes, drivable par 4s and nice par 3s.... Tee off boxes not to bad and the greens quite different sizes but well maintained. As for a long dry spell the fairways in very poor condition and I would hope that the members would get preferred lies when playing there comps. I highly recommend to play this course in winter once the fairways come back to life. I did enjoy the course tho in its current condition.

Great tough course. Very narrow so down the middle is a must. Currently undergoing a massive replacement of water so we play a composite nine hole course.

The course itself is lovely for beginners but beware of the girl in pro shop, zero customer service skills. When booking online it charged us for 18 holes when we wanted only 9. There was no option for 9 and website does not mention that it’s not possible to book 9 online. As we needed to hire buggies anyway we thought we would use the overpayment towards that. I rang the pro shop but found the girl there picked up my call but didn’t actually answer the phone and just continued to talk to a customer in the pro shop. Eventually she came to my call and informed me that “I was incorrect and the website does clearly state that you can only book 18 holes online and that she would not be refunding or crediting the difference” not a great way to encourage more people to the course. We will try Sandy next time

Very nice beginners course, nice and friendly staff. Greens and Fairways are reasonable. Good course for a public local course and good prices. Highly recommend for beginners and average players like me. Also good gold clubs in Pro Shop with a good range. Highly recommend!

Nice undulating course with excellent bunkering & many memorable holes. Places a premium on tee shots with some tight, heavily treed fairways. Lots of bird life chirping away makes it a peaceful day.

Great course, enjoyed the golf. Pro shop staff need a lesson in hospitality. Not very friendly or welcoming at all. Sent $168 in green fees a hello or thank you wouldn't have gone a miss. Would recommend Burnley Golf Club. So friendly and welcoming there!

I had to visit this site for a Covid test. Everything was set up professionally. I was able to get a test done with minimal wait time. All the staff were extremely friendly.

You know what I'm suprised at some of the horrible comments on this review. Is it because you hacked your way to a 95 and your all upset! I found the course quite easy, not long but very enjoyable. I pulled driver once only as it's a 4 iron on the tee on most par 5 and 4. greens were decent. Enjoyed!

I'm the manager here so not sure I can do a review - but I just wanted to let you know that our greens August 2019 are in very good condition - our fairways are reasonable but have been strangled by tree roots spanning out - in the coming weeks we will start to remove this issue without harming or stressing the trees out - tree route prune - the fairways should with a new growth program start to see significant coverage improvement - we have also undertaken a tee rehabilitation program - leveling and having better traffic wear control - We welcome one and all to or back to Brighton Golf Course Kind regards Nick

This golf course is along side the Bayside Brighton Men's Shed. The shed operates on Wednesday and Saturday each week. Woodworking - bench saws, band saws, lathes, routers, thicknessers, and all the traditional hand tools as well. Metalworking, oxy-acetyln, cutting, etc. A great group of guys so drop by to have a look.
